A/N: This is not The Tales of version of Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods or Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes, but rather The Tales of version of a book I got of Greek and Roman Mythology I got in Rome Italy. The settings will be after 'The Tales of the Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus' so please read that before getting in this story. Think of this story as something to pass by until The Trials of Apollo books.

Amphion

Twins don't always follow the same path even when they are demigods and Amphion is proof of that.

Amphion and his twin brother Zethus were sons of Zeus and Antiope. The wins were explose to birth but were rescued by shepherd. Zethus applied himself to fighting, agriculture, and animal husbandry. Amphion, who had been give a lyre by Hermes, applied to music. They frequently quarrelled over the merits of their respective pursuits.

Their mother, Antiope, was a prisoner of her uncle Lycus and his wife, Dirce, who was jealous of nher beauty. One day her shackles miraculously fell off and she escaped to her sons cottage. They did not recognize her and handed her over to Dirce, but when the shepherd who had rescued the twins told them that Antiope was their mother, they took revenge: Dirce was tied to a bull which dragged her across the rocks and tore her pieces; Lycus too was killed. The brothers ruled Thebes in Lycus place and built walls around the town, Zethus carrying the stones, Amphion charming them into place with his music.

Amphionlater married Niobe. Some say he was killed along with his children by Apollo, others that he went mad and tried to destroy a temple of Apollo, and that the god shot him with an arrow.

Just to show how bad it is to anger Apollo. I wouldn't know since Apollo was among the gods I got along with.

Next is the grandfather of two men who discovered a statue of Artemis Orthia and loss their sanity for it.
