Hikari's Job
"I'm working in the games area all summer," Hikari exclaimed. "I'll be working with that heart throb new boy to Wolf Cabin!"
"Lucky duckling!" Miranda groused.
Hikari and Carole looked at their watches.
"Uh-oh! Look at the time," Carole and Hikari exclaimed. "I had better be getting a move on!"
Carole and Hikari raced out of Doe Cabin as fast as their legs could carry them.
Back at the camp's riding ring, Lisa was getting acquainted with Galahad.
When Jason walked up.
"What is it, Jason?" Lisa asked.
"Jessa says it's time for our nature hike and picnic lunch," Jason said, rubbing his stomach. "I can't wait to find out what this Hanson girl cooked up for us in the canteen!"
"Hanson girl? That's Carole! You will love her cooking!" Lisa exclaimed.
"I'll be sure to find that out first hand." Jason said to Lisa.
On the hike, Lisa spotted a deer family, a doe, a stag, and a pair of fawns.
Lisa took out her sketch pad and began to draw a picture of the four deer.
Once she was finished drawing the deer, they leaped off as Hikari raced up to Lisa.
"Lisa, come on," Hikari said. "Jessa said it was time to be heading back to camp, it's time for archery!"
Lisa put her sketch pad back into her backpack and prepared to join the others.
Back at Camp Rosewood, Bryce and Hikari were setting up the archery course.
When Jason, Lisa, and Carole stopped by.
"Would you like some help?" Carole offered.
"No thanks, Carole," Hikari declined. "this job has been assigned to Bryce and me."
