I feel proud I was able to make it this far despite my writing breaks, while it's time consuming to think of what to do for certain things, I'm happy to be working on this and coming up with cool things to do, hopefully you all still stick around for more.
Bliz begins floating in the air while crossing his arms, staring at all the carnage he and 107 have caused "These humans are primitive, but they have created useful tools", he would chuckle with some sort of plan in mind "Soon, this planet will be a part of my own Empire".
107 uses its thrusters to fly closer to him, using its visor to spot anything, the radar inside detects 2 red dots within its radius, most likely the 2 girls "Scanners detect distant life nearby, are there orders to pursue them?" 107 asked in its robotic voice.
Bliz nods his head "You can chase them if you wish, but they are no match for us either way, so feel free to stop", they were shrugged off as weak, as if Night Raid in general could be considered not worth their time to immediately pursue.
"Affirmative" the machine replied before flying off to the previous location of Mine and Chelsea, the mysterious alien holds Shambhala, inspecting it with curiosity, something would confuse him about this planet.
"They can create interesting devices like this, but the rest of their technology is quite laughable" Bliz shook his head, he has likely seen far better than whatever the Empire has made, but he doesn't want to waste his time here any further and flies away using his ki.
Closer to the team
Mine and Cheslea were walking back to their camp, their anxiety was at an all-time high after witnessing all that, not only was one of their possible opponents already taken out, but they were facing a seemingly indestructible foe.
Chelsea's fears were more intense, she would think to herself with worry "All this time, this big mystery I had to solve was revealed to be something much more terrifying than this evil government", she held her teigu with a tight grip, fear is all she can think at this moment.
The pink haired sniper tried to lighten up the mood "Well, maybe with all of us together...we can easily stop this big bad alien, hehe...", she tried to think positively, but in the end...she couldn't keep her brief smile, this was when Chelsea stopped for a moment.
The red head turns to her with a worried look "You saw what happened when that robot attacked your base, it fought all of you at once, but now that thing has a leader!", she tries to calm herself down since all this stress is messing with her.
Mine didn't think she would see her this scared, feeling that she needs to do something to help, the pink haired girl approaches her with a pat on the back "Don't worry, I'm sure soon we can think of a way to stop them, we aren't alone".
Chelsea was surprised about this, but she had something to say herself "I'm sorry for what I said about Bulat and Sheele, I was just worried that you wouldn't take your jobs seriously", they had some minor conflict prior to this day, but now it will be solved.
Mine nods while looking into her eyes "It's ok, I understand you better now", after this they both continued their walk back, their fears have been somewhat lifted because of their heart to heart, however they hear the sound of thrusters.
"Targets spotted" 107 was flying above them, holding its deadly blade, both girls quickly ran away, they were so close to the camp, they will not be dead before then, the machine extends its arm forward to fire wrist rockets that targeted them.
"Shit!" they both uttered, trying to use the nearby rocks as a way to block them while they ran, "We should be close!" Chelsea franticly says, they can see the smoke of the campfire nearby, but 107 doesn't plan on shooting rockets all day, it decides to chase them with its thrusters.
The camp
Tatsumi and Akame had just finished their training, Tats wipes the sweat off his forehead after his hard work "Phew, you took a lot out for me", Akame herself was also a bit fatigued, but not as much as him, they both took a bottle of water.
"You're not the only one that needs to improve Tatsumi, I need to get stronger too" she tells him with honesty, he understood why she would feel that way, so he gave a nodding smile, they better know each other now after months of cooperating.
Tatsumi would have a thought on his mind, so he would ask her something "Hey Akame, have you ever thought about what you want to do when you stop being an assassin?", this caught her off guard, it was an odd question for her to answer, but she would try her best.
"I'm not sure, I only knew how to kill for my entire life, of course I have friends and love for food, but I don't know if I can have a job that isn't killing" she gave an answer, hoping it was good enough, Tatsumi was sad that she thought this way, but it doesn't affect his friendship.
Akame lifts her head up "I hope we can all be on a boat ride, all of us, even Kurome and Daikon", Tatsumi couldn't help but smile, for now it won't be happening, but he has hope they can convince those 2 to join their side if possible.
"Guys, we have a problem!" Mine's voice can be heard, Akame quickly turns to see Mine and Chelsea running, "What's wro-" before she can say anything...she saw 107 catching up to them, without hesitation she charges towards danger with Murasame unsheathed.
She jumps behind the other girls and prepares herself for round 2, "Akame spotted" it spoke, 107 clashed blades with her but he had the upper hand, the red eyed killer was still a bit tired after her training, she was being overpowered by all his strikes which she had to block or dodge.
"Akame!" Tatsumi jumps into the fight, activating Incursio to compete with this powerful foe, he pours a lot of strength into his strikes, surprisingly he was doing better than before, but not enough to overpower his foe "Damnit, I still have ways to go!".
107 quickly punches his gut with its left arm and kicks Akame farther away into a rock, the red eyed girl coughed from that strike, she was feeling weak "This is bad, we can't fight this thing now" she mutters to herself, another time she feels her power isn't accomplishing much.
Suddenly Susanoo jumps out of a tent and begins battle with this powerful robot, performing much better than everyone else, but he finds himself still a bit even, 107 punches the middle of his chest, causing some damage, but Su resists the pain and counters with a hit from his weapon.
"Chelsea, Mine, what's going on?" Najenda asks, but she can hear the sounds of battle, mostly answering her question, she looks out the tent to see Susanoo, Tatsumi and Akame fighting 107, "That thing again, but how can it spot us?".
Chelsea breathes heavily "We'll tell you what we found later, but first we should finish this thing off!" she suggests to her leader, Najenda watches the fight, watching as they were somewhat holding off better than the invasion.
"You're right, maybe we have a better chance now" she says before jumping out the tent, Mine would run off as well with pumpkin lock and loaded, Chelsea looks at her teigu but shook her head, she wasn't built for actual combat, she was purely an assassin.
Mine shoots a pumpkin Lazer towards 107, but predictably he dodged and continued fighting everyone else, "Damn you robot, why don't you stand still!?" she says with anger, the machine quickly grabbed Akame by the throat and threw her down before kicking her away.
She breathed heavily on the ground with a lot of battle damage, she slowly grabs her blade once more and attempts to get up to help everyone, "I feel so useless against this thing, it can't die from Murasame because it's a machine", her arms shook from her fatigue.
Akame watched as her teammates were doing better than before, Tatsumi was slowly learning to avoid damage and counter with tremendous power, he lands a solid hit on its visor, causing a small crack "Yes!" he says, Susanoo was more offensive while Mine kept her distance.
107 fires more rockets, but Lubbock uses his strings to create a large shield to block some of them "Damn, this thing is still a pain" he mutters, Leone was attacking from all sides, but its metal body was unaffected by her normal punches.
The red eyed girl sees most of her friends doing better against it, but she herself can't do much right now, even without relying on her teigu, "There has to be some sort of opening" she thought, Akame tries thinking of a good strategy, one thing came to mind.
She remembers something Gozuki once told her before she killed him, as he was about to die, he told her "This teigu possesses a trump card...it involves discarding one's humanity, I was never able to activate it, but you...just might be able to...".
Akame shook her head, it was a solid idea, but there was a risk "Should I even try that now, or save it for Esdeath?" she says under her breath, but in the end she decides she can't do it "I don't want to risk it right now, I need to reserve it for later...".
Susanoo was on par with 107 so far, they clashed their weapons with swift might, he would use his rotating staff to block the incoming wrist rockets, but 107 would use the debris to its advantage and tackles him with flight, it uses more power for its thrusters to fly further up.
"Ok, I just need Su to get out of the way" Mine says as she prepares pumpkin once again "Afterwards, I can hopefully catch it off guard", while mid-air the 2 were landing punches on each other, but 107 kicks his stomach and throws him forward.
"Target locked on" it said before firing a blast from its shoulder canon, Susanoo crashes down after getting hit from the blast, he was taking a lot of damage...but he was slowly recovering, the robot remained mid-air, electricity surrounded it "Hostiles must be eliminated".
However, it turns its head to be met with a shot from pumpkin, quickly crashing against a rock as steam leaves its body, "Did I kill it?" Mine asked herself, Tatsumi approaches the machine with caution, checking on the damage done to its body.
Susanoo reached out to him "Don't get too close!", then suddenly 107 rises back up, its red electricity surrounds it with more intensity, it quickly punches Incursio's helmet and cracks the left half of the face, Tatsumi was sent flying back.
"Critical damage received, activating full power mode" the machine spoke, its body was shaking, its yellow visor suddenly turned red, "Everyone get back!" Najenda yelled with great concern, 107 clenches its metal fists as it powers up with a deadly red aura.
The ground was cracking under it, the canyons shook, Susanoo stood still with a serious glare, "Oh crap, it's getting stronger!" Tatsumi said after getting to a safe distance, he turns to Akame, whose face is now watching with speechless shock.
Najenda was thinking of a strategy, then she remembered what she can do "Susanoo, I'm giving you some of my life energy!", everyone looked at her with confusion, but Susanoo understood just fine "Alright, lend me your power master".
But then he gets punched by 107, the damage was enough to send him flying back, he does his best to dodge all the wrist rockets, but he needed to reach the others again, so he would quickly counter with a punch of his own, but it didn't do much
107 would then deliver a powerful kick to his stomach, which caused immense pain, but he then jumps backwards closer to everyone else, he shook from the damage taken but recovers quickly, Najenda stretches her arm forward, a golden aura surrounds her as she lends him energy.
107 watched as it detects his power increasing "Power level increasing, threat level increasing", Susanoo's body starts changing, his armor like skin was now visible, his hair changed to white, his eyes were yellow and his horns turned black, a strange disk like object floats behind his back.
"Woah, he looks sick!" Tatsumi says with a smile behind his mask, Najenda was now breathing heavily with Akame helping her up, Night raids leader was curious about the outcome, maybe now they have a chance against his powerful foe before them.
The 2 combatants stared with intensity, they suddenly charged towards each other with clashing fists, everyone else keeps their distance, with Chelsea amazed with all this power "This is insane, I didn't think Susanoo would be capable of this".
"Well hopefully it's enough to defeat that robot" Mine spoke while watching the fight, 107 began charging his chest beam before firing it with lots of power, but Susanoo uses the disk behind him to negate the attack as it grew in size.
The deadly machine flies towards him with its blade, but the newly powerful Susanoo summoned his own sword, a long black great sword, they clashed once more, but this time Night Raid has a chance, 107's sword snapped in half.
It gets hit with critical damage, it shook with sparks of electricity showing the damage once more, "Be gone!" Susanoo yelled, he kicked its torso with his knee, punched its face then slashed it once again, 107 crashed back down to the ground, shaking from all the punishment.
"Yes, we can do this!" Mine yelled, Akame was happy too, glad to have Susanoo on their side, Tatsumi clenched his fists, he was inspired by this display of power from his ally, hoping to get around his level soon, Night Raid's morale was raised.
"Night Raid...must be eliminated" the robot powered up further, its power was continuing to shake the landscape, it speeds its way to Susanoo, throwing a powerful roundhouse kick, but he quickly blocked it before cutting off its left arm.
With more robotic sounds, 107's speed increases, trying its best to land blows with its only arm and legs, while it gets good hits on its opponent's face, Susanoo had the upper hand after this power up, the white haired teigu held his blade with both hands before slicing its lower body in half.
107's upper body crashes down, its damage was very severe, "Damage 90%, in need of repairs" it crawls with its only arm left, Susanoo watched it crawl as he drops down near it, preparing to finish the job, the machine is close to defeated.
"Awesome, we no longer have to deal with this guy" Lubbock wipes his sweat off with relief, but Chelsea and Mine knew this wasn't the case, as happy as they are with 107's defeat, there is still a much greater threat coming soon, leaving them very cautious in the end.
Chelsea rests her fingers on her chin, she then has an idea "Wait, how about we try to take any information it has stored, that way we can use it to our advantage?", Najenda would like this idea, it could help them win the war.
Susanoo approaches the robot with his sword held tightly, ready to finally finish this, "Su, make sure you take out anything that holds its memory" Najenda yelled out, he shook his head and obeyed her orders, he notices something behind its head, some sort of memory chip.
"Initiating self-destruct" it said with its robotic voice, everyone jumped after hearing those words, Susanoo quickly removed the chip from its head and grabbed its body, he flies up in the air and quickly throws it farther away, "3...2...1...".
After it was thrown miles away from the canyon, 107 after being defeated by Night Raid, suddenly exploded like a huge bomb, its radius was massive, but luckily it didn't reach anywhere close to their location, everyone covered their eyes and ears to protect themselves from debris.
The landscape was shaking again, but after a few seconds everything was quiet again, they all looked to see a huge crater in the distance, Susanoo returned to his leader and gave her the memory chip, "I hope that's the last robot we got to deal with" Leone said with a sigh of relief.
Najenda took a closer look at the chip, she could see that it was quite advanced "Let's pray we can get this working", after that intense battle Night Raid had finished their mission for the day, they were about to finally leave this hot canyon.
"How disappointing..." Bliz floated in the air with his arms crossed, his eyes staring at the large crater, sending his regards to his assassin "107 served me well, but it looks like Night Raid was too much for him", everyone's eyes were wide after seeing this alien float mid-air, Akame was paralyzed with fear.
Bliz tuned around to look at his new enemies, he was not impressed "So, it was you worms who somehow defeated my assassin", he lands on the ground near them, Akame couldn't stop shaking, but she knew it was a living thing, something she can kill with her teigu.
Susanoo was still in his ultimate form, so he quickly charged forward and landed a punch to Bliz's chest, it did absolutely zero damage, the alien released a laugh before staring into his eyes "Pathetic", he backhanded him effortlessly, Susanoo reverts to his normal state with lots of pain.
Akame lets out a battle cry after unsheathing her blade, making her way closer to Bliz, but he simply grabbed her sword arm before she could make contact, he squeezed her hand as she screamed with pain "Is this all you can do? be thankful I'm generous enough to let you all live...for now".
Bliz lets her go before immediately gut punching her, her eyes temporarily had no pupils as the pain was too much for her, after she crashes near everyone, she was knocked out unconscious, "Akame!" Tatsumi shouts, coming to her aid.
He slapped his tail on the ground, looking at the rest of the team before turning around "You all survived against 107, but he was not strongest in my crew, and they aren't near my strength either", Chelsea's fears came back again, all that work against 107, but it doesn't accomplish much.
"You can all call me Lord Bliz, your future emperor" Bliz says before flying up and taking off, everyone was left with a sense of fear and confusion, they defeated 107...but there are greater threats on the horizon, Night Raid cannot do this alone.
Hours later, Jaeger base
"Finally, lunch time" Daikon says with excitement, the clothes Esdeath gave him were very identical to his previous ones, Black sleeveless shirt, fingerless gloves, pants and boots, he had his hands behind his head as he walked, feeling very carefree.
Though it still felt a bit different without his tail, he was slowly getting used to it, but now he was closer to blending in with everyone else, besides his crazy spiky hair, he arrived at the dining room, the sounds of Koro's barking were a sign he's arrived.
"Koro, no barking when we eat lunch" Seryu tells her pet with a happy voice, Kurome wore more casual clothes, with a white shirt and dark blue shorts, mostly everyone else wore the same clothes, but once Esdeath walks out her office, she was seen with nice, elegant clothing.
She wore an expensive black long-sleeved shirt, pants, and even had her hair in a ponytail "I see most of you here keep your same clothes, that's fine...you don't have to go out of your way to impress me just to eat food", everyone was impressed by her clothes.
Daikon was already ready to take a bite out of his food, but Kurome kept him in check, Bols would arrive in the dining room, which surprised mostly everyone, "Woah, you eating with us Bols?" Daikon asked with curiosity, the man nods his head in confirmation.
After he sat down, Esdeath looked at him with a smile "Now, you can remove your mask", everyone watched as Bols removes his mask, revealing that he had blonde hair, they were happy to see him open up to them, the general kept her smile "A handsome face covered by that mask, kind of sad".
Bols didn't expect to be this open with his teammates, but after some battles here and there, he finally grew some courage to do so, Daikon gave him a thumbs up which made him smile, Seryu was amazed by his appearance, with Koro barking from surprise.
"Thank you everyone" the man spoke, after all that, the Jaegers were getting ready to feast, Esdeath glances at her subordinates, she had never been this close to people in a long time, this team was truly something special to this cold ice queen.
After she told everyone to begin eating, she watched for a little longer, most of them eating normally while Daikon eats lots of food with super speed, she did not expect this, but she was happy to have formed the Jaegers, unlike everyone else she came across...these people were quite interesting.
