Lost Tapes
Jurassic Park.
There are creatures that science has created, and now it has been set lose all over the globe. Encounters with these animals range from terrifying (shows a dilophosaur about to spit.) To downright scary (shows a silhouette of a therapod looking at a group of teenagers.)
Eyewitness accounts are told here; these are their tapes.
Lost Tapes Dilophosaurus.
Narrator: "It has been many years since the incident with the Indominus-rex since then the park has been closed, but an incident in 2018 has set the Ingen dinosaurs lose all over the globe. Encounters have been happening, including this instance in some nearby woods."
At a basketball court some teenagers are playing some basketball; when one of them hears something strange. Hearing the sound the teenage stop playing, a listen again for the sound.
"You guys heard that right?" Rob asks a teenager who is around 17; with blonde hair.
"Yeah, and you know something we ain't that far from the mansion." Xander replies an African American around 17.
"So, what are you saying?" Zoey asks an African American around 17.
"I say we go exploring." Xander replies with a sinister grin on his face.
"Are you crazy?! You know what the adults say about that place!" Zoey replies
"Yeah, that it is supposedly haunted by the one who created those parks." Xander replies. "I personally think it is a lot of bologna."
As if on que a loud hooting sound is heard; as if something heard them. Curious about the sound; they decide to head into the woods, leaving the basketball behind.
Owen: "Dilophosaurus is a very deadly ambush predator; the only way you can be safe from one is to grab it near the jaw when it starts to rattle its frill."
The group continues to walk deeper into the woods, and they still hear the hooting sounds nearby. As they are walking that is when in the beam of her flashlight; Zoey sees something. A reptilian like animal that is staring directly into the beam; as if it is curious.
"Guys do you know what that is?" Zoey ask as she looks at it through the flashlight beam.
"I have no idea, but it might seem friendly." Xander replies as he tries to get a closer look.
Seeing this as a threat; the animal emits a hooting sound. Then as Xander tries to get closer; it emits a loud hiss, and shows its frill. Startled by the frill Xander falls backwards; a little startled by what he just saw. The dilophosaur then spits at him, but doesn't hit Xander in the eyes. Instead, it gets him on the neck just as he is falling; Xander screams in pain as he feels the venom on his neck.
Noticing that it missed the dilopho tries again to spit, but that is when Rob notices something on the path nearby. Rob pick up the object; which is a dead heavy tree branch. Rob then grabs the log, and runs over to where Xander is about to be attacked by the dilopho, and lets out a heavy growl at the dilopho. The dilopho stops what he is doing, and stares at Rob unsure of what to do next. Rob swings the log around; to show how much bigger he is, and the dilopho falls for it, and retreats deeper into the woods.
Claire: "The dilophosaurs while they are spitters, and ambush predators. They don't go after prey that is bigger then they are; as they don't want to take the risk of getting injured. "
Back in the forest Rob helps Xander get up.
"What in the world are those doing here?!" Xander asks as he is struggling to get up. "I thought those things stayed on the island?!"
"Well, maybe whoever brought the dinosaurs over; had a few stowaways." Zoey replies. "Now are you sure you two still want to explore that mansion?"
The teenagers keep going deeper into the woods, and sometimes jump at the slightest hooting sound. They suddenly find a clearing up ahead, and seeing this they stop. When they get to the edge; Rob pulls out his flashlight, and shines the beam up ahead. In the middle of the clearing appears to be a rundown mansion; curious they head deeper into the clearing. They slowly begin to approach the rundown mansion, but as they do they hear some hooting sounds.
Zoey a little worried; turns the flashlight to see what is behind them. When she does; that is when one of the dilophos nearly knocks her over. Seeing this, Zoey tells the group to keep running. They find that the mansion is surrounded by a steel fence; with twisted wire on top. They become panicked as the dilophosaurs are almost on top of them. Seeing no other option; Rob manages to lower himself to his knees, and offers Zoey a hand over the fence.
Using Rob as a step stool; Zoey manages to make it over to the other side of the fence. Seeing that the spitters are close; Zoey yells for them to make it over the fence. At that point Xander also uses Rob to make it over, and then Rob manages to barely climb over; as one of the dilophos nearly grabbed him.
"Well, since we are here; we might as well start exploring this place." Xander says as he moves a loose board aside. "Well, I think it should be ladies first."
Zoey pushes Xander aside, and begins to make her way down into the basement. Upon entering; Zoey turns her flashlight back on, and she is a little amazed by what she is seeing.
"Guys I think you should come down here; there is a lot that went on here." Zoey shouts to Xander, and Rob.
Xander, and Rob make their way down to where Zoey, and they are amazed by what they are seeing. The whole basement looks like something from a lab; with beakers, and cages. There are even some abandoned computers; curious Rob tries to get them working, but nothing happens. Zoey continues to explore the area, and finds a little ways away from the labs some cages. Seeing a ladder nearby; Zoey urges the group to follow her.
When she makes it down; that is when she realizes something.
Claire: "It wasn't Lockwood who was keeping those dinosaurs in the cages in the basement. It was his associate Eli Mills; he wanted to see the dinosaurs. He was also making one last hybrid after what happened at Jurassic World; he thought he could make another with 's help. But, like the indominus it broke out, and wrecked havok."
Zoey begins to explore the pens, and sees just how big the pens are. Feeling curious the group begins to explore the basement, and are puzzled by all the pens. As they continue to explore the basement; the whole area looks like a stampede of wild animals came through here.
"So, this is where it all started; this is why we saw what we saw." Zoey says to herself as she is looking at the pens.
"What are you talking about?" Xander asks.
"This is how creatures like the one that got you; got on the mainland. What we are dealing with are dinosaurs." Zoey explains.
"Dinosaurs? You mean to tell me that those vicious lizards that tried to kill us back there; are dinosaurs." Rob asks feeling a little confused.
"Don't you guys remember all? They have been all over the news! See a few years back an old man who owned a mansion; wanted to save the dinosaurs that were in Jurassic World, but an employer of his stabbed him in the back, and tried to make money off of them." Zoey continues to explain. "The employer even tried to make another hybrid, but like the first one he failed"
"Okay, so then what happened?" Rob asks.
"Well, in the end that is how we got dinosaurs all over the world now; cause they got loose from the mansion, and started to flourish." Zoey replies. "Don't you guys realize this whole place is where it all started?"
The group continues to explore the abandoned mansion; when up ahead they see what looks to be a broken elevator. The doors to the elevator keep opening, and closing on its own. As the doors are doing that; there are some mechanical groan heard coming from the elevator. Xander decides to pull out his flashlight, and have a look inside the elevator. As the doors are opening, and closing; the camera light shows that something is inside the elevator.
Xander decides to see what is inside that elevator, and cautiously approaches. He gasps when he sees what is inside; there are four skeletons in the elevator. Two are on the left side, one on the right side, and one right in the middle; all look like something has attacked them.
"Guys! I think you should come look at this!" Xander yells still shining the light in the elevator.
Rob, and Zoey come to see what it is that Xander sees, and Zoey upon seeing the skeletons feels like she is going to be sick.
"What in the world could have done this?" Rob asks as he is trying not to gag.
"I think it might have been that hybrid Zoey told us about." Xander replies as they start to make their way towards the stairs.
Behind them something darts into the shadows; the group has made it towards the museum part of the mansion. That is when they see all the taxidermized dinosaurs in the cases. Rob, and Xander are amazed at seeing this; Zoey on the other hand feels a bit creeped out. As they start to walk around the room, Rob shines his light on one of the exhibits, and notices something off about it. Rob sees what looks like a triceratops skull, but something is stuck on top through the brow horns.
Rob decides to get a closer look and starts to slowly make his way towards the skull.
"Rob, what are you doing?!" Zoey yells trying to get Rob to come back.
"Hang on a sec guys; you really need to see this." Rob replies gesturing to them to come over.
Xander and Zoey come to where Rob is and see what he was looking at. On the brow horns of the ceratopsian skull is a body of a dinosaur that is still in the process of decomposing. Seeing this; Zoey tries not to vomit, but Xander, and Rob stare at it with fascination. The body looks like it belonged to a carnivore; it looked almost raptor like. It has three sharp claws on its hands and feet.
The body also aside from the sharp claws on its feet; has one sickle claw on the big toe on each foot. Its teeth remind them of the indominus all those years ago; big, sharp, and mismatched around the mouth. The skin looks like it use to be a dark black; with a gold stripe running down the side. Due to age and decomposition the skin has started to fade to grey.
"Do you realize what this means?" Xander asks Rob.
"I sure do; it means that Ingen could not be trusted." Rob replies.
Claire: "The indoraptor was something that should never have been created. I mean we thought Ingen might have learned their lesson after the incident with the indominus a few years earlier, but nope. So, thus was born the indoraptor. Luckily me, Owen, and Blue were there to put a stop to that. However, that caused where we are now with dinosaurs roaming free."
As the teens are admiring the corpse of the indoraptor; they start to hear the hooting sound again. Startled at hearing that; Zoey peeks around the corner. That is when she sees a curious dilopho entering the room; it then starts to make a loud hooting sound towards the hall behind it. Feeling a little concerned, Zoey begins to tap Xander on the side. Annoyed Xander follows where Zoey is trying to get his attention; that is when instead of 1 dilophosaur, a whole pack shows up.
"Guys I hate to be a downer, but I think we should start to leave this place." Zoey says as she is getting ready to leave.
Rob gets up to see what the group is panicking about, and that is when he sees the dilophosaur pack making their way towards them. Thinking quickly, Rob grabs a medieval shield nearby, and is ready to hold it up. One of the dilophos shows its frill, and spits at the group. Rob holds the shield up in time for the spit to not hit them. Seeing that the venom did not hit, the dilophs begin to make a mock charge at the group.
Trying to figure a way out of this; looks around. That is when he sees the broken open window on the left. He ushers the group to follow him towards that window, and they managed to squeeze through the window. The dilophos try to grab them, but find their bodies a little too bulky to get through.
Update: The three kids told the cops what happened at the abandoned Lockwood mansion, and due to it being considered dangerous it is falling apart. The whole area was quartered off, and nobody is allowed to go in. The dino trackers were sent to get dilophosaurs, but none have been found. Which means they still live among us.
