Suddenly, a boisterous laugh came from Naruto and the blonde puffed out his chest. "It's just further proof that I'm the one to fulfill the prophecy. You should just give up now, Kyuu."

Kyuubi narrowed his eyes in a glare and growled. "I should have never bothered to help your selfish ass in the first place. Go fuck yourself, Naruto." Before either Kakashi or Naruto could respond, he stormed away and headed for Itach"Yep" Kakashi nodded his head as the two stared at him in disbelief. "It sounds exactly like the beginnings of pregnancy."

Naruto wrinkled his nose in confusion. "Sasuke and I have only been sleeping together for only two weeks though."

"Well, demon pregnancies happen a lot faster than human pregnancies, not by much, a few weeks or so. It varies depending on the demon."

Naruto continued to be in shock, staying silent and staring at nothing. Kyuubi looked to his little brother and a wave of jealousy washed over him. A slight sneer appeared on his face.

Kakashi took notice of the look Kyuubi gave to Naruto but kept silent. "I'll get in touch with a doctor I know who will work with us given the situation, no questions asked. Tomorrow, we'll go down there to get some blood work done to confirm. He should be able to have the results by the end of the week."

Kyuubi looked to Kakashi. "How come I'm not pregnant?" It was hard for him to hide the desperation in his voice. "Itachi and I have been together longer."

Kakashi shrugged. "I don't know all the details on demon pregnancies but if it's anything like a human's, the process can be unpredictable. Some people try for months and it doesn't happen."

Kyuubi frowned, not liking Kakashi's answer.

Kyuubi slammed the door open to see Itachi now fully dressed. He stepped inside and slammed the door.

"How'd it go?" Itachi asked.

Kyuubi felt his anger rise further and he directed his heated gaze to Itachi. "Fuck off! This is all your fault, trying to tell me to go help him, I should never have bothered!" He stomped his way to the bed before throwing himself onto it, face first.

Itachi looked on in concern, before sitting down on the bed next to the redhead. "What's wrong?"

Kyuubi lifted his head, still glaring at Itachi before letting out a frustrated sigh and shifting so he was lying on his side, facing the raven. "Naruto has been acting emotional lately and Kakashi thinks he's pregnant. Tomorrow they're going to do blood tests to confirm." He sneered. "Then Naruto had the fucking audacity to brag about being the one the prophecy talks about and that I should give up." He looked at Itachi. "Maybe he's right."

Itachi was silent before lightly shaking his head. "That's just straight up nonsense."

Kyuubi gave him a confused look as the raven began to smirk.

He leaned over Kyuubi before going in for a kiss. He pulled away, his smirk larger. "It just means we have to try harder."

Sasuke was still seated in the parlor room head in his hands. He was still trying to process everything that just happened. He let out a sigh.

Iruka walked over to the young Uchiha. "Hey," he spoke softly to get Sasuke's attention. The raven looked up at him. "Naruto gave me the rundown about what happened. Have any ideas about what to do now?"

Sasuke let out a groan as he sat back in the couch. "Well, Ino and Hinata won't be much of a problem, they ran away scared. Sakura on the other hand, she's trying to blackmail me by threatening to tell, unless I marry her."

Iruka is shocked before frowning. "Naruto's not going to like that."

Sasuke scowled up at Iruka. "It's his fault anyways. If he just stayed put like I told him too, none of this would've happened and we can go back to our normal lives!"

Iruka nods in understanding. "I get it and I also understand you're doing things you don't want to do for Naruto. But he doesn't see it that way. Through his eyes, he feels you're avoiding him to be with these random women instead of him."

Sasuke shook his head. "It's not like that at all."

Iruka nodded. "You just have to reassure him that you'll come back to him. Be expressive with how much you hate doing all this and letting him know that if there was any other way to keep him safe, you'd do it in an instant. Naruto will still feel loved but would understand how it needs to be done."

Sasuke took in Iruka's words before sitting up straighter. "I understand now. Thank you." Iruka smiled in return. "But now what should I do about Sakura?"

Iruka frowned in response. "That, I'm unsure about. We'll have to discuss it as a whole group."

Sasuke stood up. "Sounds good to me. Let's find everyone."

The two began to make their way out of the parlor until Fugaku walked in. The elder Uchiha narrowed his gaze at Iruka, a questioning look in his eye.

Iruka bowed. "Good day my Lord."

Fugaku stared at Iruka before blatantly ignoring the brunette, giving his attention to Sasuke. "How did things go, Sasuke?"

Iruka mentally rolled his eyes at the king's rude behavior before turning to Sasuke. "Excuse me, I'll see myself out. We will meet later, Sasuke."

The two Uchihas watched in silence as Iruka left the room. Fugaku turned back to Sasuke once the brunette was fully out of sight. "Those three strangers are suspicious if you ask me. You can stop your training with him and begin training under Itachi, that way the three of them can leave."

"What about Itachi marrying Kyuubi?" Sasuke pointed out.

Fugaku waved his hand. "That means nothing. Itachi can continue on with the plan of marrying Izumi."

"Well what about having the nine-tails to ourselves so we can rule over the demons?"

Fugaku narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean? How would the three strangers leaving affect the nine-tails?"

Sasuke's eyes widened and he froze in place as he realized his mistake. He completely forgot that Naruto and the nine-tails were supposed to be two separate entities. He mentally began to scramble for something to say to explain his mistake.

At Sasuke's silence, the wheels began to turn in Fugaku's head. "You know, when I remember Minato the nine-tails, didn't he have that blonde hair like-"

At the mention of Minato, Sasuke shouted out the first thing that came to his mind. "I picked Sakura as my fiance!" He blurted it out.

At Sasuke's words, all previous thoughts and suspicions flew out of Fugaku's head and a prideful smirk appeared on his face. "That's wonderful news, my boy! Your mother will be so proud to hear about it."

"Well don't talk about it too much." Sasuke mumbled. "I'm not a hundred percent sure yet. I'm having Sakura stay here for a little bit so we can get to talking more."

Fugaku grasped Sasuke's shoulder. "I'm proud of you, and soon enough we can get rid of that bed slave of yours too." He gave Sasuke one more proud look before turning and walking away. As he was leaving the parlor, thoughts of Minato began to inch their way back into his mind.

Iruka found Itachi and Kyuubi and the three of them looked for Naruto. The blonde was still in the same room that Kyuubi left him in. The three walked in and Iruka explained to them the situation that Sakura had Sasuke in. "And Fugaku walked in before we could leave, so I'm not too sure what's going on."

It didn't take long for Naruto to burst into tears.

Itachi frowned. "Oh Sasuke, he's in over his head."

Kyuubi stared at Itachi before turning and giving Naruto a glare. "Look at the situation your selfishness has started, Naruto!"

"Now now, Kyuubi," Kakashi stepped in. "We don't want to upset him too much."

Kyuubi let out a frustrated groan. "Well now that he's pregnant the situation is even worse!"

Iruka's eyes widened at Kyuubi's words and he stared at Naruto. "Is that true?"

"It's not official." Kakashi spoke up. "So we don't want to tell Sasuke just yet, not until it's confirmed."

"That sounds like the best thing to do." Itachi agreed nodding his head. Iruka nodded along with him and Kyuubi let out breath before agreeing. Everyone turned to Naruto who was still sniffling but let out a barely audible 'yes'.

Iruka began wiping Naruto's tears when Sasuke suddenly walked into the room.

"Finally found you guys." Sasuke mumbled, feeling solemn.

"What happened with Father?" Itachi questioned, the look on Sasuke's face confirmed Itachi's suspicion that whatever happened, wasn't good.

Sasuke let out a sigh. "I told him that I've picked Sakura as my fiance and now he's going to want the three of you to leave."

It's been awhile since I've updated but it's finally been posted, a new chapter! We're nearing the end of the story and more drama to come. I'm excited to be writing this story and I'm hoping to get the next chapter out a little faster.
