Zone 1 Chapter 3: Training
After their meeting with All Might, they were all walking home together. Ochako then exchanged phone numbers with Izuku. They chat for a while almost forgetting that Katsuki was there while he himself was smirking at them without them noticing.
"This is the part where I make my getaway," he said as he walked away.
"Well, what do you know, we're neighbors," Ochako said, "We live in the same building!"
"Oh cool," Izuku said with a nervous look.
"Looks like we'll be seeing each other more often!" Ochako said getting a bit too close to Izuku.
"Uh yea hahaha," Izuku said getting nervous.
Izuku tripped on something and almost fell. However the impact never came.
"Are you alright?" Ochako asked a bit worried.
"Yea I'm fine," Izuku said, "But I'm floating."
"Ooh sorry," Ochako said, "Release."
Izuku landed on his feet.
"Is that your quirk?" Izuku asked a curiously.
"Yeah, it's nothing special, I can just make things weightless." Ochako said.
"Wow, that's really cool," Izuku said.
"Wait really?" Ochako asked.
"Yeah! It can definitely help with hero work. Especially rescue missions! It can also be a valuable combat quirk as well, with some hand to hand combat as well! Kacchan's quirk is explosions. All you need to do is dodge his explosions and you could be a dangerous opponent to him!" Izuku said.
He then went on a muttering storm on other ways Ochako's quirk could be used.
"Are you ok?"
"Uhhh…. Sorry Uraraka, I guess I went into a muttering storm again."
"Well, you can start calling me Ochako. After what you did, I trust you enough to call you my friend."
"Ok then Ochako," Izuku said.
They said farewell, and Izuku started heading back to his apartment. Later on he was about to head into his apartment. He heard laughter. He turned around to see none other than All Might.
"Hahaha!" he said, "I am here!"
"All Might sir!" he said, "I figured you were busy with some kind of interview or something."
"I always manage to find a way to escape the press," All Might said, "Because I am All Might. And I have a great opportunity for you!"
"Really, what is it?" Izuku asked.
"I'd like to offer you my quirk. I saw how you went to rescue that girl from the Sludge Creture. That is the true essence of a hero. Now... I know you're already able to use a power more powerful than quirks. But... how would you like to be the next successor of my quirk? It is a sacred torch that has a secret. It can be passed down from person to person. It is the quirk of true heroes who use it to save people with a smile. The name of this quirk is One For All, and I have chosen you to wield it!"
Izuku thought for a minute then turned to Izuku.
"No," Izuku said.
"Haha! No hesita- wait… no?"
"All Might, its truly an honor, but I feel like I'm strong enough with my own power. If I wanna be a true hero, I should do so with my own strength rather than borrow someone's power. I don't need a fancy quirk in order to be a hero. All I need is heart. A great man who I see as a father taught me that."
All Might smiled. He then buffed down to a familiar face.
"Wha... TOSHINORI!?" Izuku said surprised.
"hehehe... Hi young Midoriya," he said.
"I could have sworn I just saw All Might! But then you coughed up blood and turned into my Mom's boyfriend Toshinori. What's going on here?" Izuku asked confused.
"Well, to tell you the truth young Midoriya. I'm actually All Might." Toshinori said.
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?" Izuku asked.
"Yes, I am the symbol of peace," Toshinori told him, "Your mother is one of a few people who know my secret."
Izuku was flabbergasted by this discovery. However he smiled.
Meanwhile with Ochako…
"And then next thing I know, I was swooped away to safety, and I locked eyes on the one who saved my skin!" Ochako told her parents who were on the phone, "If it weren't for him, I'd probably be a puppet."
"Where is this boy right now?" her dad asked, "I'd like to thank him properly! I don't even know him, but I can guarantee 100% that I can trust his very existence around you."
"We're neighbors in the same apartment," Ochako told him, "I'll tell him you two wanna meet him."
"Please do!" Mrs Uraraka said with joy in her voice, "I wanna have some grandkids soon!"
"MOM!" Ochako shouted.
"Well, we gotta go dear, be safe," Mr. Uraraka said.
A few days had passed since the sludge monster incident. Izuku was looking for a way to train up for the entrance exam. He noticed a beach that was filled with trash. Izuku then started writing down a plan to train up. He then sent a call to Izumi.
"Hey bro, what's going on?" Izumi asked.
"I found a way for us to train up for the entrance exams, meet me at this location," Izuku said.
Later on Izumi came to the same beach Izuku was at. Izuku explained his plan to clean up the beach and train up his Chaos Energy powers. Izumi could do the same with her fire.
"You up for this sis?" Izuku asked.
"You fucking know it," Izumi told him.
They spent the next few days training at Degobah beach. Izuku decided to refrain from using his powers and train up his muscles, by taking some trash and throwing it in some hand made dumpsters. Once he got enough muscle strength in both his arms and legs, he decided to start training with his Chaos Energy once again. He started come up with a few new super moves.
One of those moves involved dashing around at breakneck speed, It was almost like an after-image technique. He also discovered he could generate and weaponize air pressure. He decided to use this to his advantage, and create a new move known as Sonic Boom, where he would send a few kicks, emitting blasts of air.
Izumi was getting a better handle on her fire quirk. Not only can she breathe fire, but she can also generate it from her hands. She noticed something in the garbage. It was some kind of chain.
"Well what do we have here," she said, "One man's trash turns into another girl's treasure."
This went on for a few days. Izuku's upper body was looking a bit more lean and muscular than before. Later on at school, Izuku was getting some belongings for his next class.
"Well if it isn't the nobody," Fingers said, "Still dreaming of being a hero?"
"What's it to you?" Izuku asked.
"You're quirkless And you Might as well give it up!" Wings said, "Honestly why do you dream so much about a false dream!"
Izuku was getting mad. Chaos Energy was building up
"You better stop," Izuku said.
"I'm only telling the truth you quirkless reject," Wings said.
Ochako stood up to Wings and looked him in the eye.
"Look here wings, you better leave Midoriya alone!" she said, "Just because Deku doesn't have a quirk doesn't mean he's useless!"
Wings used one of his wings and slapped Ochako right across the face, then pushed her down to the ground.
"Don't you EVER talk to me like that bitch!" he said.
Izuku was shocked that Wings would stoop that low.
"Maybe now you'll learn not to disrespect your su..." Wings said before being grabbed by Izuku.
Chaos Energy was flowing through his arm as he glared at him. People were minding their business when they heard walls crashing, Wings was thrown through 4 walls until finally stopping at the lockers. He groaned in pain. People saw Izuku. He literally and figuratively broke the 4th wall.
"...Uh oh..." he said.
