Chapter 18: Christmas break
Christmas was the only topic the Marauders could talk about on the train ride back home because they were all so thrilled about it. Jason's eyes lit up as he mentioned, "me mum stated that she might have got me an owl," and Matt added, "yep, our brother said he'd send us some pranks supplies for us to use when we get back." While they were talking, someone opened the door to their compartment. Lucian Bole's obnoxious voice exclaimed, "Well...well...well if it isn't young Gryffindors perfect quidditch stars," He continued to look at Jason and the Twins, saying, "So what are your three doing here I thought you weren't welcome at home for Christmas." Before either of them could react, they heard Xavier speak up "Well, at least they were wanted somewhere for Christmas by family and friends, unlike some... Bole, you are using up all of our oxygen so... FLIPENDOI! Bole was knocked back, slammed into the wall, and fell face first to the ground while wailing in pain. Xavier said, "Man, I love that Jinx," before slamming the door in his face. Once they reached platform 9 ¾ ,the four boys were about to find Lilly and James when they heard a familiar pleasant voice "hello guys" said Scarlett "what are you guys planning to do this Christmas?" she continued, "oh were all heading to Xavier house for Christmas so...who knows" remarked Jason in a manner that made Scarlett laugh "well that sounds fantastic you guys... Oh, I have to leave, merry Christmas!" She stated as she hugged them, but after hugging Jason and the Twins, she did the most unexpected thing—she went and kissed Xavier on the cheek before running away, which caused Xavier to blush uncontrollably. "so, who's the attractive friend, I don't remember her in any of your letters," James's distinct voice asked. Turning around, Xavier noticed James and his two uncles, Remus, and Sirius. "Prongs, Uncle Moony, Uncle Padfoot!" he exclaimed joyfully as he gave each of them a separate embrace. "So, you guys must be Xavier's friends, let me guess, you Jason" Remus added, pointing at Jason, "and your Matt and Your Luke," while pointing at Matt and then Luke. Two children interrupted the Original Marauders and the Marauders Jr. as they were talking. Two exuberant voices shouted, "Xavier!" as they started to hug Xavier. "Hey Harry... Hello, Hailey nice to see you too... You are aware that you can let go of me, right? Xavier muttered as he started attempting to remove them from him. After hearing laughter from behind them, Lilly Potter approached and yelled, "Harry..." Once the two Potter siblings had released him, Lilly whispered, "Let him breathe" Xavier moved to embrace Lilly "Mum." Lilly kept emphasising how much she missed him as they hugged, and then she let go and started talking to the others, saying, "Hi, my name is Lilly Potter. You can call me Lilly, Aunt Lilly, or Mrs. Potter whichever one suits... Anyway, are you ready to leave for home yet?" she asked. The four boys all exchanged glances before simultaneously shouting "yes!"
