Yukari is mildly… pissed off right now. Somebody stole her western bed, and when she finds who it is, well, let's just say… They are severely toasted like bread in a toaster. Yukari's killing intent is spread over the forest. Heck, it's pretty much spread all over the realm. For those people who have a great sense of magic and sixth sense, then they will know Yukari is vexed.
But of course, there are some creatures who don't understand the word "DANGER" even if it hits them right into their face. One such example are fairies. "Oh! Look! Look! Another idiot who walks in the forest! Let's play with her!" One of the few thousand fairies shouted to her fairy comrades. All the fairies who are in the vicinity proceed to "play" with Yukari.
They shot tons of colorful orbs at Yukari. Take note that these colorful orbs aren't all sunshine and rainbows, no. These are what we call… Shumatsu Sokudo Hassha-tai. These things can give you a lot of damage if one of them hits you. Imagine getting hit by a non-stop Shumatsu Sokudo Hassha-tai. The damage is too great for the faint of heart.
Yukari was not in the mood to play with these fairies. Yukari reached out her hand at the sky and said, "Boundary 「Exist and Nonexistent」." After she said that, all of the fairies suddenly vanished from the face of the planet. Only one fairy is left. "W-What?! Where's everyone!? Seedy! Orange! Where are you?!" Yukari suddenly appeared behind her.
"Eek! Don't come near me!" The fairy ran away in fear. Yukari thought to herself, 'They will forget what I did, anyway.' Then goes back to finding the culprit. In fact, that fairy might be in cahoots with the thief. So Yukari followed the fairy somewhere, already knowing that the fairy would lead her to the thief's hideout.
Meanwhile, the fairy is running away because she fears that her life is in mortal danger. That's to be expected since Yukari is in the vicinity. 'I have to get out of here! That woman is insane! I gotta quickly find the hideout and meet up with M!' The fairy thought, not knowing that she was being followed by a terrifying entity known as Yukari Hakurei.
After the fairy flew for three kilometers, the fairy was at the entrance of the hideout. Yukari menacingly smiles at this. 'OH? IT LOOKS LIKE THE LITTLE FAIRY IS AT HER LITTLE HUMBLE ABODE. THE-*cough* sorry, it is hard to control my anger. What was I saying? Oh yeah. The thief must be there,' Yukari thought as she completely blends in the background.
The fairy entered the hideout, not even looking behind to see if anyone followed her. That would be the biggest and last mistake that she will ever make. She won't be able to correct her mistake since she will not come back- 'Hol' up, mate. Fairies can respawn like a minecraft player respawns in their world.' …Yeah, sure.
After Yukari talks to herself, she manipulates the boundary of normal sight and Xray. She can see two people in the hideout. 'Bloody hell, it must be the fairy and thief in there,' she thought as she sneakily went toward the hideout, finding a way in instead of the one that the fairy took. It would be suspicious to go to the front door.
'Both of them are gonna have the time of their life, and by that, I meant I'm going to take out their asses and make them like Apollo 13… kick them so hard they can feel what an astronaut feels when they're in space.' Yukari saw an opening in the hideout. She silently goes to the opening after checking if it is safe to go inside.
Yukari thinks that they forgot to check if their hideout doesn't have any entrance that a spy can get in, but she thinks that they're just a dumbass who didn't even bother to check if it is safe to make this place as their base of operation. They're the only ones left since Yukari took care of the other fairies. 'Who the hell recruits fairies, anyway, mate?'
Yukari thinks that having fairies as your grunts is bad idea considering that majority of them is stupid. Yukari is inside the hideout and she can hear someone talking about their plans of what to steal next. "Ah, you're back. Where are the others? Never mind that, I have a plan on how to acquire the next item on our list." The thief said while the fairy is still terrified of what happened before.
"B-Boss! Someone killed my friends! All of them are dead because of her!" The thief sighed at this. "A-And she just instantly appeared behind me! She's a different kind of monster!" The fairy kept on ranting on how strong and frightening Yukari is. The thief shut her fairy friend's mouth because she doesn't want to hear what she is saying.
"I don't care. Deal with this woman. By yourself if necessary. It looks like I need to do this plan all by myself, I guess." The fairy looks confused and anxious by this. "W-What do you mean b-by that, boss?" The thief or the boss just smirked at the fairy. She grabs the fairy by the neck and says something unspeakable.
"You're going to start dealing with the woman that you mentioned earlier. When? *looks at Yukari's hiding hole* Starting now!" The thief threw the fairy at Yukari's direction. It crashed inside the opening of the hideout. After throwing the fairy, the thief phased through the wall, completely vanishing out of sight.
The fairy who was left behind is unconscious because too much is happening at the same time. Yukari just left the fairy alone and exited the hideout to catch up with the thief. What happened when Yukari stepped outside is that she's bombarded with Shumatsu Sokudo Hassha-tai in her face. Yukari professionally dodged all the attacks and came out unscathed.
"You are the one who is messing with my plans- wait a minute! You're that woman from that shrine that I crashed into!" Yukari saw the thief's face for the first time. It is indeed the girl from before when she crashed into Yukari's window. "Fancy seeing you here. I have a question, though. Why are you attacking me?"
Yukari didn't go into rage mode because the opponent politely asked her, anyway. "*cough to clear her throats* My western bed is gone. And all the evidence that I found led me to believe that you're the one behind the disappearance of my western bed. So, can you kindly give it back? You can take my other stuff, just not my western bed because that's the only thing that I really need… to sleep."
The ghost thief raised an eyebrow. "What… you did all of this just for that damn bed?! I don't even need the bed because that's not what I wanted in the first place! You can take the bed back. I only use it to block my door just in case somebody tries to bash it down, but that won't be necessary since you found a way through my base. I'm going to change location from here on out."
Yukari stopped her from leaving. "Hol' up, mate. Don't think you're getting off scot free. I wanna talk about your house's extended warranty. And while we're at it, can you give my western bed back? I really needed it to sleep. It's way past my bedtime, y'know?" Yukari said. The ghost thief probably thought that she was mocking her.
"My house's extended warranty? What's that?" Yukari frowned when she said that. Yukari thought that the ghost thief was trying to trick her. "STOP HORSING AROUND AND GET TO THE POINT." The ghost thief is now slightly scared of Yukari's eldritch cosmic horror form. In a matter of seconds, she gave in. "Okay! Okay! Here's the money for the house's extended warranty thing and your western bed is in the basement!"
Yukari nodded and was about to enter the hideout, but stopped to say something to the ghost thief. "DON'T TRY THIS EVER AGAIN, MATE." That left the ghost thief pissing her pants if she had physical legs and wearing pants in the first place. Yukari finally entered the building and proceeded to head down stairs, not even bothering inspecting the other rooms.
Once Yukari was at the door of the basement, she used her ability and manipulated the boundary between lock and unlock. The basement door instantly opened and Yukari slowly turned the knob and carefully opened it, not wanting to knock anything fragile to the ground. Yukari looked around and found a pack of gold bars, tons of books relating to moon magic, astrology techniques, and finally, her western bed.
Yukari touched it and tinkered the boundary between home and not home. In an instant, she was back home with her western bed being placed at its rightful place, her bedroom. Yukari gave a final look at her western bed. "You're as beautiful as the day I lost you. Technically, some thief tried to steal you, but meh, potato tomato."
The door to her bedroom opened and in goes Chen Komano, being shy, cute, and frightened as always. Yukari turned around to greet the komainu cat-like youkai. "Ah, Chen. I'm back." Chen got close and hugged her. "A-Are you still angry, miss Yukari?" Then Chen directly looked at Yukari's face with puppy eyes despite having cat-like features.
Yukari patted her head to ensure that everything is alright now. "I'm not angry. In fact, I can now sleep peacefully. But before that, how about I give you some treats, Chen?" Chen brightens up at the thought of treats. "Really?! You will give me treats!?" Yukari nodded. "Yay!" Then Chen happily exits the bedroom and into the kitchen.
Yukari followed suit and began to cook delicious treats for the komainu cat-like youkai. Yukari prepared the plates and waited for the food to be cooked. After a few minutes, she grabbed the food, which were udon, sushi, tempura, and tofu, and put it on Chen's plate as she was chanting, "Food! Food! Food!"
After the food is prepared, Chen joyfully ate the delicious and scrumptious food with Yukari watching her in a RBF, it means resting bitch face. Chen noticed this and asked about it. "M-Miss Yukari, are you angry about me eating all the food?" Yukari stopped showing her RBF and said, "Oh, I'm not angry. That was just my RBF."
Chen tilted her head in a confusing manner. "What does that mean, Miss Yukari?" Yukari chuckled at this. "I don't think you should know about that. How about you continue eating? And don't mind me watching you, okay?" Chen cheerfully nodded and went back to eating. Yukari looked outside through her window.
'I see something.' Yukari whispered to Chen. "Chen, leave quietly." Chen instantly goes back to being scared. "W-What did I do, Miss Yukar-" Yukari gently shut her mouth by placing her right hand on it. "Just go, okay? I'll give you lots of food if you leave." Chen looks happy now that Yukari said that. Chen sneakily left the shrine while leaving Yukari behind.
Yukari stands up and faces the person who is ruining her day. "Bloody hell, get out of there. I can feel your presence, y'know?" Then surprised, surprised. It was the ghost thief yet again. "You. *sigh* What do you want now? At least you didn't crash down at my house this time. It takes a lot of effort to rebuild those broken holes, mate."
'How did she find out where I hid so quickly?' The ghost thief thought before responding back. "I- uh, came back because I wanted to hang out?" The ghost thief said/asked(?) to no one. She's not sure. Meanwhile, Yukari just glared at her, then shrugged. "Fine. As long as you're not making any trouble." The ghost thief silently congratulated herself and sat beside Yukari on the chairs in the kitchen.
Yukari didn't mind it as long as nobody was messing with her, especially her western bed. Yukari went to sleep on the table. The ghost thief bought out a book to read and pass the time. During Yukari's sleep, she's dreaming about… a tear in the space-time continuum. And do you know what's else? It's her boundary doing it.
Yukari saw a silhouette that kinda resembles her. In fact, it was her! But in a different clothes. The other Yukari is wearing 19th century clothing with a poofy hat. The other Yukari tried to reach out to her, but her sleep was interrupted by someone, and that someone is the ghost thief. "Ugh, what is it now, uh…"
"Mima Kirisame. And look?! I figured out the formula on how to blast someone in the face with little energy and in just under one microsecond." Yukari shook her head, not listening to Mima and instead thinking about that dream. But, it was once again interrupted by Mima. "Look! Look! A mushroom explosion! It's amazing, isn't it?"
"Yes, yes, yes. It's amazing. Now, would you mind? I'm going to my bedroom now. Don't bother me while I'm sleeping." Mima ignored her and continued to ramble about the mushroom explosion. Yukari enters her bedroom and lays down on her western bed and goes back to sleep. 'I wonder if I can meet that other me if I sleep again? Only one way to find out.'
Then Yukari goes zzzzzzzzzz.
