Chapter 19: Christmas
Several days had passed since Jason and the Twins had arrived at Godric's Hollow, and they were really loving it. They had played quidditch frequently in the backyard, spent a lot of time talking to the original Marauders and were engrossed in hearing all about their time at Hogwarts, watched movies with Harry and Hailey, pulled pranks on Harry and Hailey, visited the skate park where Xavier had shown them a few tricks, gone for lengthy walks along the nearby beach, And - most importantly, they had helped Mrs. Potter in "tasting testing" some of her delicious meals. The day everyone's children had been waiting soon arrived: "Guys wake up, it's Christmas... I don't want to be late for breakfast, so get up." All of the boys were dressed in jeans and their Christmas sweaters, which they had chosen a few days earlier. Xavier quipped, "I may be late for class, but I won't be for Christmas". Marauders went downstairs to find Lilly, James, Remus, Sirius, Harry, Hailey and…Snape! Jason and the Twins were eating breakfast when they were confused. Xavier noticed this and said, "Snapes, my sister's godfather, normally spends Christmas with us... He's not all that bad once you get used to him." Lilly wished the boys a happy holiday. James wished them a "Merry Christmas Jr. Marauders" after they had all finished breakfast and entered the living room to begin opening gifts. "Whoa, look, me mother gave me an owl, which I'll call Charlie," as a result of its size and strength, which are similar to his, and the fact that some of its feathers are red, added Jason. Xavier hugged his parents and exclaimed, "Look...mum and dad gave me a spray painting kit with numerous designs you can choose, and our brother got us prank this... Luke answered, "See, I knew. After everyone had settled down, Hailey and Harry approached the Jr. Marauders and said, "Look what we got you." The boys immediately exchanged glances before tearing open their gifts to reveal rings with various animals engraved on them; Xavier had a wolf, Jason had a lion, and the Twins had hyenas. "Wow, it's great; I'm not taking that off, guys..." The Twins hugged them and murmured, "Thanks" As they were looking at the ring, they heard Lilly say "Guys why don't you go and do something schools starts soon…oh and take Harry and Hailey with you okay".
