The Minister Blizzard, one of Wonder Woman's enemies had been roaming around the city blasting ice with his blaster, using it to freeze the citizens who could not outrun him. "Finally, a place where the Ice Age has come to pass!" Then a lasso was looped around the blaster and was yanked from his hands.
"What?!"
The ice villain turned around to see Wonder Girl who managed to steal the lasso before he could freeze any more civilians. "Surrender! And no harm will come to you!" Wonder Girl warned him.
"Wonder Woman's sidekick. I never thought we actually meet." The Minister Blizzard takes out another blaster. "But there's more where it came from.
But before Wonder Girl can block the ice laser. Wonder Woman swooped in and uses her silver bracelets to block the ice. "I get this is a hot weather today, but having a snow day is not what I had in mind."
"Other than that, are you up to the task, Wonder Girl?" Asked Wonder Woman.
"Let's finish it first, Sister." Wonder Girl replied. First thing about the superhero life, finish the mission first, change the subject later. Wonder Girl avoid lasers to distract him, while Wonder Woman uses her own lasso to pull the blaster from his hands.
Then Wonder Girl slides on the ice with her footwork and kick him under his feet. With the Minister Blizzard defeated, Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl waited until the police arrived. Then the Minister Blizzard was taken in in cuffs, safely dragged as long as he wears the inhibitor collar.
"Are you enthusiastic to see them again?" Wonder Woman asked.
"The boys are okay. In a funny kind of way. I cannot believe it, two years and already I feel accustomed to be your protege. Though I can't fly, nor do I have super strength."
"Not all of us Amazons have that."
"Still, today is the day." Wonder Girl said as she and Wonder Woman climbed aboard the invisible jet.

Wonder Girl gasped after another vision. There she is in the Invisible Jet, piloted by her older sister. "Donna? Are you okay, sister?" Wonder Woman asked.
"Y-yes. I'm fine. Just overwhelmed for today's event."
"Well, before the League was formed, there I was meeting with other warriors from different worlds. At first, Green Lantern did not have thoughts about being in a team. Then Captain Marvel called us the Super Seven. But we preferred the Justice League."
"A likely story of momentum." Wonder Girl replied.
As the Invisible Jet landed in front of the Hall of Justice, the supposed HQ of the Justice League. Wonder Girl peered through the window, and sees statues of the founders of the Justice League. Including Wonder Woman.
"So the citizens of Man's World, this is how they see you as one of Earth's champions." Wonder Girl said. Bewildered at the symbolisms of hope and just.
"From their point of view, they see heroes as the light. But truth to be told, we are just as flawed as any other human being." Wonder Woman states her metaphore. Those words reminded Donna what Hippolyta had told her when she was 4. "That's what Mother said to me."
Then the Amazon princesses landed as they got off the jet. There she sees Robin, Speedy and Aqualad. Alongside them was Batman, Green Arrow, and Aquaman. There were two people missing.
"Hey! Wonder G!" Robin waved.
"Aw man!" Kid Flash whined as he and Flash arrived fast with their superspeed. "I knew we'd be the last ones here!"
"Actually, Kid Flash. Your timing is perfect. And this isn't a race." Wonder Girl made it clear that this isn't a race. This made Kid Flash chuckled a b

On the rooftop of Times Square Building, an Independence Day performance was held with a blonde girl, appearing 16, sky-blue eyes, wearing a navy blue mid-drift shirt and black leather pants. Singing through a mic.
"High, higher than the sky. Free as a bird. You think you can keep me in the ground? Limitless, as I was. The sky is where I will always be. Feeling the breeze is the taste of freedom.
Beyond the stars is the new beginning. I have to pretend to be who I am not. But the sky has a lot of memories, the shining sun is all I can see. I was told to be like everyone else, but the urge is killing me."
After the performance was done, the singer came in backstage to meet with a man with the same eyes as her, only tall, dark hair and reading glasses and suit. "You did great there, Kara." Said the man. As the two embraced like brother and sister.
"Thanks, Clark. All those performances really paid off. I heard from Speedy that he and the others are gonna head to Washington DC. So I'm heading there too." Kara told him. This caused a frown on Clark.
"Kara, we talked about this. I know you and Speedy are good friends and wanted to be included in this sort of club. But your powers came out a bit too strong. Last time you broke a guy's wrist when we stopped a robbery." Clark did point out that Kara's super strength was too stronger than his. One grip, and the crack of knuckles can be heard.
"Aw, it was just one time. I just wanted to get out there and use my powers for good, I promise I'll be careful. I've been living as a boring human being since you and the League found me." Kara pouted like a perky way. As she touched the bouquets sent by fans and friends. To Clark, the mountain of those gifts must've come from the boys he can be wary of when it comes to being protective of his cousin.
"I know. But the moment will come. You just got to be patient." Clark was then interrupted with a phone call, it was from a man who calls himself John Jones. "Give me a minute, I have to take this. John? Wotan? Got it, I'll be right there." Clark hangs up and turns to Kara.
"Sorry, Kara. Duty calls. Are you going to be alright heading back to our apartment for your next flight?"
"Clark, I can handle myself. You got nothing to worry about. Just go ahead and finish whatever it is you're doing." Kara assure him. Clark smiled after a series of adaptations Kara had taken on Earth. "Good. I'll see you back in Metropolis." Clark then opened the door. "Oh, and remember, no using your powers on the way home. And don't fly either." Clark said before leaving.
"Yeah, yeah. See you tomorrow, cuz." Kara said before. Before laying her head down and sulking for not being let go to Washington DC. "Aww." She groaned. "Oh, well, gotta get my next post ready."

All mentors and proteges walked towards the Hall of Justice. Fans are lined up behind the fence meant to calm the frenzy of paparazzi. Kids are gathering with their parents to see their heroes.
"Is that Batman?!"
"I see Flash and Flash Jr.!"
"Was his name, Speedy?!"
"Naw, Speedy is Green Arrow's sidekick!"
"Hey, it's Wonder Woman and her sidekick!"
"I think her name is Wonder Girl!"
"Hey, Wonder Girl, you rock!"
Wonder Girl looks around to see some fan boys cheering for her, much to her nervousness. Her mother sometimes said that not all men can be trusted. This makes her a bit wary at times. But after meeting other proteges, she trust them through her observations.
"Are men these days very open-minded?" Wonder Girl wondered.
"Relax, Wonder Girl, keep in mind that those are just fans. You could say one of them can be wannabes sometimes." Kid Flash assured her.
"I'm glad we're all here." Said Aqualad.
"Have all five sidekicks been at the same place at the same time-" Kid Flash was cut off when Speedy interrupted because he doesn't like the term, sidekick.
"Don't call us sidekicks. Not after today." Speedy warned.
"I'll admit, I am still not used to the term. But it didn't bothered me anymore." Wonder Girl admits.
"Sorry. First time at the hall. I'm a little overwhelmed." Kid Flash replied.
"You're overwhelmed! Freeze was underwhelmed! Why isn't anyone ever just whelmed?"
Speedy then received a text from Kara, who is a friend of his from three years ago before he met Wonder Girl.
Kara: Sorry, Speedo. Can't join you guys to the inner sanctum.
Roy: Don't worry about it, let's meet for coffee after.
Kara: Alright. Did Green Arrow mentioned to you about the Watchtower?
Roy: He definitely did. Least I was an exception.
Kara: So am I. So much for Batman specifically trying to keep secrets when involved with the League.
Then Speedy puts away his phone to focus on what's in front of them. Statues of the Justice League were above the entrance. Robin was feeling overwhelmed. "Oh, maybe that's why." He blinked.
Then Martian Manhunter and Red Tornado emerged from the entrance. Welcoming the young heroes-to-be. "Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Speedy, and Wonder Girl. Welcome."
"It is an honor, Martian Manhunter." Wonder Girl greets. Robin and Kid Flash hi-fived as they walked in with the others. From Wonder Girl's perspective, the mysteries outside the world is how champions came to existence.
Each of those defenders are champions to their own worlds. The Earth, the sea, and the skies.
Wonder Girl looks around the hall in amazement to see the Hall of Justice. But for some reason, the strangest thing to her was the feeling she had been there before. And if so, why couldn't she remember it.
Why am I getting the feeling I have been there before, even though this is the first time just now?
Wonder Girl shook her head as she heard Martian Manhunter finishing his sentence. "...And of course, our library." They arrived at the library of the Hall.
"Make yourselves at home." Flash said. Robin Aqualad and Kid Flash sat on the chairs nearby. While Wonder Girl and Speedy stood and watch as their mentors stood in front of a recognition scan. The League members circled to depart to their true headquarters. Since the Hall of Justice is a tourist trap to not reveal any secret locations.
"Quick debrief to discuss a coincidence of five ice villains attacking on the same day. We shouldn't be long." Batman informed. As they lined up on a recognition scan to depart for the Watchtower.
"Five ice villains attacking on the same day? That does sound a bit off. Almost as if they acted as some sort of a decoy for the true motive." Wonder Girl said. Aqualad nods in an agreement.
"Recognized; Batman, 0-2. Aquaman, 0-6. Flash, 0-4. Green Arrow, 0-8. Martian Manhunter, 0-7. Red Tornado, 1-6. Wonder Woman, 0-3."
"That's it?!" The League members turned after hearing Speedy shouting from behind. "You promised us a real look inside. Not a glorified backstage pass."
"It's a first step. You've been granted access the few others get."
"Oh, really?!" Speedy gestured at the glass window at the upper corner to see tourists staring at them and some taking pictures. "Who cares which side of the glass we're on!"
Wonder Girl steps in to intervene. "Speedy. I understand your frustration, but Aquaman might be right. No matter how ready we are, there is always a first step."
"Roy, you just need to be patient." Green Arrow adds. But Speedy wasn't having it.
"What I need is respect! They're treating us like kids! Worse, like sidekicks! We deserved better than this!"
"Please reprimand from criticizing..." Wonder Girl tried to intervene again to defend her sister. Since she trust her very much. But Wonder Woman stops here there. "It's alright, Wonder Girl. Let hear him out."
Wonder Girl, Robin, Kid Flash and Aqualad looked at each other, unsure how to reply. But remained silent. "You're kidding, right?" Speedy snarled. "You're playing their game?! Why?! Today is supposed to be THE day. Step one to become full-fledged members of the League!"
"Well, sure. But I thought step one was the tour of the HQ." Kid Flash said.
"Except the hall isn't the real HQ!" Those words shocked the League as the real HQ was supposed to be a secret. And the proteges felt the exact same way. "I bet they didn't tell you it was just a false front for tourist! And the pitstop for catching zeta-beam teleporter tubes to the real thing. An orbiting satellite, called the Watchtower!"
Green Arrow turned from Batman and Flash and they were not happy to hear that Speedy was one of the few outside the members of the League to have known this secret. Batman folded his arms in disappointment.
"I know, I know. But I thought maybe we could make an exception?" Green Arrow defends himself. But that earned him a glare from the Dark Knight even more. "Or not." He took it back.
"You're not helping your cause here, son. Stand down, or-"
"Or what?! You'll send me to my room?! And I'm not your son!" He snapped at Aquaman, then turns to Green Arrow. "I'm not even his."
Wonder Girl was too stunned to see the bond between mentor and student broken suddenly. She looked to her sister and wished she could ask on how to mend some things. But nothing said can be done as Roy's mind was set. Wonder Girl sees that those words hurt Green Arrow. Understandably, she could see that Green Arrow cared for Speedy like a son. She couldn't imagine herself fighting with her mother and sister.
"I thought I was his partner, but not anymore." Sorry threw his hat to the floor. The others were shocked to see this reaction. The red archer walks out. "Guess they're right about you four."
"Roy, wait!" Wonder Girl called. But Speedy ignored her, as the others stood up. "You're not ready." Speedy finished as he exits.
"Given time. He'll come around." Wonder Woman assured her sister and protege. Then a call interrupted them, it was from the Man of Steel himself. "Superman to Watchtower. There has been an explosion on Project Cadmus."
"I had my suspicion on Project Cadmus for awhile now."
Then another member of the League had called. The sorcerer, Zatara. "Zatara to the Justice League. Wotan had stolen the Amulet of Atem to blot out the sun."
"Clark?" Batman asked.
"It's a small fire. The authorities are having it under control." Superman said.
"Then Cadmus can wait." Robin and the others attempted to join them, only to be stopped when Batman caught up for what they're going to do. "Stay put."
"What, why?"
"This is a League's mission." Said Aquaman.
"You're not trained." Flash backs him up.
"Since when?!" Kid Flash demands.
"You're not trained to be part of this team." Wonder Woman adds.
"But for now...stay put." That was final for Batman.
Wonder Girl is not upset at all of this. Since they barely work worked together as a team yet. Wonder Woman then turned to her sister and placed her hand on her shoulder. "It won't be long, sister. Just wait here. I'll see you soon."
"Of course, Diana." Replied her younger sister.
Speedy exits the hall while photographers are taking pics of him walking out, suspecting of him quitting. "Sidekicks. Just another term for kids to get pulled in the fray." He growled.
"Hey, Speedo. Been in the dumps just now?" Speedy looked up to see Supergirl, floating above in front of him. Speedy was at a loss for words after having to just stormed out.
"Yeah," he sighed. Supergirl then lands in front of him. "What's up? Dropped out of the tour already?"
"You don't get it, Kara. Just now, we were about to become members of the League." Speedy said.
"If it makes you feel any better, Superman did not bring me here because he thought I might burst through walls. Not to mention he thinks I'm reckless." Supergirl assured him.
"Shouldn't you be in Metropolis after your concert, since you won the contest?" Asked Speedy, but Supergirl just yawned. Bored of the flight when she already has powers.
"Kinda. But I'm bored and thought I can just hang here. So, did the League threw you under the bus?"
"Wait, you didn't..." Before Speedy can ask. Supergirl cuts in having enhanced hearing. "I heard. Super hearing, remember?" She then grasped onto Speedy's arm as she floated up with him. "Come on! Let's do something else around here!" Supergirl shouted excitedly. Speedy was taken aback as he was about to go for a ride with the Girl of Steel. "Hey, wait-!" Speedy was cut off when she sped off with him. "Whoa!" Probably somewhere to fight crime. Wonder Girl was watching out of nowhere and was too late to stop Speedy. But also wonders who was the girl with him.
"Who was that girl just now, and why did she took Speedy with her? Oh, Roy." Wonder Girl sighs, wished she could've done something to convince him. But knowing Roy, or rather Speedy, he was too impulsive to be stopped. But for some reason, the girl with him looked familiar. But decided to wait for another time for answers as she walked back in to attend with the others about Project Cadmus. Unbeknownst to her
Author's note: This fanfic is an alternate timeline where Wonder Girl (Donna Troy) joins the team. But also where she has a glimpse of the future. Which is something she cannot understand how these visions keep happening. But more over, the timeline is rebooted. Also, we get to see Supergirl, who in this version is a friend of Speedy's. Sorry, I sorta like the rebooted timeline plothole throughout the video agmes and comics. Hopw you enjoy the chapter and have good night.
