"Remember to keep up your training and read chapter 10 for next class," Blood Moon says as the ponies get up to leave. She opens up her drawer as the students file out of the classroom. She pulls out a stack of papers as the last pony leaves the room, leaving her alone in her classroom. She places the papers on her desk as she grabs a pen with her mouth.

She grabs one of the papers and starts grading it. The scratching of the pen to paper echos threw out the room. She slides each paper she grads onto a pile. The pile slowly grows bigger as minutes turn into hours. Ponies walk by the door and down the hallway as the night moves on. She sighs as she slides the last graded paper onto the stack. She grabs the stack of paper and slide it back into the drawer before closing it.

She looks over at the clock on her deck to see it was five in the morning. Her eyes drift to the picture frame sitting on her desk next to the little wooden clock. The picture is of Acid hugging her while he takes a picture at a picnic a few months ago. She sighs as she gently takes the picture and brings it closer to her. Memories flooded back to her of that beautiful day.

Year 1106

"Here it is," Acid says as he stops at the top of a hill overlooking Canterlot park. "Look out hill," Acid says as he turns to face Moon, who was walking up behind him.

"Why do they call it look out hill," Moon asks as she looks around at the view. "I mean, it's a nice view, but isn't it a bit on the nose?" Moon asks as she turns to face Acid, who was now setting up a picnic blanket from the basket he had been carrying on his back.

"The ok view is one reason, but mostly because… Look out!" Acid yells as he ducks down. Moon ducks as a group of ducks fly over her head, barely grazing her hair.

"Whoa," Moon says in shock as she stands up.

"That's the main reason," Acid says, standing up. "Ducks can't fly any higher, so sitting up here can be like having a baby pegasus run into you," Acid explains as he uses his magic to pull out the food from the basket. He sets down the food on the blanket as Moon sits down on the blanket. Acid pulls out the very clunky, big, and very black camera from the basket.

"What's the camera for?" Moon asks as she picks up a sandwich.

"Because most birds can't fly higher than this hill, it's not only the perfect place to watch birds rest, but to take pictures of them in flight," Acid says as he sits down next to the Moon with the camera in his hoofs. He places it in his lap as he grabs a sandwich and takes a bit out of it. He places it back down as he holds the camera tentatively. He looks around as Moon takes another bite of her sandwich. She looks over at the evening sun starting to set over the horizon.

"I don't think you're going to see many birds before the sun sets," Moon says, turning to look down at Acid.

"Ya," Acid says, looking around. "I think you're right," Acid says as he uses his magic to grab his sandwich and levitate it up to his mouth. He takes a bite out of it as a thought runs through his head. He smiles as he looks over at Moon, who was now watching the sun set. "I think I'll get a few picture of a bird,"

"Doubt it," Moon replies with a cheeky smile.

"Ya sure?" Acid asks as Moon turns to look down at him.

"What bird flies out at sunset?"

"A bat," Acid says. Before Moon can process it, Acid leans over, wraps his arms around Moon's body and raises the camera up with his magic so it's pointed at them. Moon smiles as Acid nuzzles into Moon's body. The camera light flashes before Acid sets it down. Moon wraps a hoof around Acid before rubbing his back.

"Bats are not birds,"

"Close enough," Acid replies, looking up at the Moon with a warm smile.

(Time Skip)

A tear rolls down Blood Moon's cheek as she looks at the picture in her hoofs. Her eyes shimmer as new tears form in her eyes. She closes her eyes as she places the picture back on her desk. She wips the tears from her face as she stands up.

"I need to apologize," She thinks before turning and quickly walking out of the room. She spreads her wings and takes off down the hallway. She pulls up her legs and stays as close to the ceiling as she can without hitting it. The wind blows past her face, drying her tears. Plastered on her face now was determination.

She turns, titly around a corner before tilting her wings against the direction she was flying towards to slow herself down. She untucks her legs and lands on the ground. Her wings fold back in as she walks up to Acid's lab.

She takes a deep breath before knocking. Her hoof against the metal door rings out in the empty hallway. She takes a step back as she waits for any response. Her ears twitch as she hears a faint noise coming from inside the room. She pushes the door open and pops her head into the lab. The lab was dark and empty of anypony, except for the balcony where Film sits, looking up at the night sky.

"You can come in," Film says, not turning around. Moon steps into the lab before turning and closing the door. She looks over at Film, sitting on the balcony and looking up at the night sky. His eyes, following something in the distance.

For just a moment, Moon's heart skips a beat. Film's small smile, bright orange eyes, and small stature reminds her of Acid. Her heart hurts as the memory of a few weeks ago hits her brain. Tears forming in her eyes again, but are quickly wiped away before she walks over to Film.

"Good Evening Midnight," Film says, not taking his eyes off of something out in the night. Moon sits down and follows his eyes. She lets out a small gasp as her eyes widen a bit.

Flying up in the night sky is Acid Flask. Strapped to his back are a pair of wings that look a lot like Film's. In Acid's mouth is a bite with a few buttons connected to the wings. He does dives and loopty loops around the night sky with a determined look on his face.

"He has been working on getting others to fly for a while," Film explains as Acid dives down. Film's smile drops with Acid. "He's done nothing but this sense the argument you two had after the meeting," Film turns to look up at Moon, who in turns, looks down at Film. "I've learned this is how he deals with his problems, he looks for a solution from his work,"

Moon sighs as she turns back to watch Acid fly up higher into the sky before diving back down. Film turns to look at Acid as he does a barrel roll. Moon blinks as she realizes something.

"Why did you call me Midnight?" Moon asks, turning to look at Film.

"Is Midnight Sprint not your real name?" Film asks, looking at her out of the corner of his eye.

"How would you even…" Moon starts before it all clicks in her head. "You're the blue blur!" Moon says in epiphany as she points a hoof at him. Film chuckles as he raises an eyebrow at the statement.

"Blue blur?"

"You struck my guards so fast, all they saw was a blue blur." Moon explains. "Hence the name,"

"Hhhmmm," Film replies before looking back at Acid.

"So why did you do it?"

"Mostly to see if I was right about Midnight and Moon being the same pony," Film replies. "I was right,"

"Does Acid know?"

"Nop, only I do," Film says, turning to face Moon.

"Then why do it?" Moon asks, now even more confused.

"At first it was out of interest," Film replies, before turning to look at Acid again. "I then wondered if you loved my brother for who he was back then, or if you loved him for what he has become," Moon turns to look at Acid, who is now hovering in mid air, testing out slight movement controls.

Acid spits out the bit into his hoof before levitating a screwdriver up. He sticks out his tongue as he starts fiddling with the bit controller. A small smile forms on his face as he teleports the screwdriver away and puts the bit back into his mouth. He tilts his head to the right, the wings move him to the right. He tilts his head to the left, the wings move him to the left. He smiles before going back to doing stunts.

Moon and Film both stiffen up as a gust of magic blows past them. The two stand up at the same time, but Film stops as he watches Moon jump off the balcony and spread her wings. She speeds towards Acid, who was now in free fall. Film smiles as he watches Moon dive towards Acid.

Moon wraps her arms around Acid's waist and pulls him up. Acid looks down at Moon's hoof in confusion before looking up. Acid's heart beats faster as he stares up at her. Her face illuminated by the light of the moon behind her. Her eyes filled with warm, kind determination. Acid smile as tears form in his eyes. He nuzzles up into her arms as she flies them back to the balcony.

She gently places Acid down on the ground before landing in front of him. Moon sighs as she sits down and looks at the ground. Her heart flutters as she gains the confidence to tell him. "I'm sorry for trying to control your life. Adopting Dox was your decision, not mine, and I should never have made it mine," Acid looks at Moon, who refuses to look over at him. Film watching from afar. Moon swallows a lump in her throat before continuing. "I would fully understand if you didn't want to be with me anymore, or never wanted to see me again,"

Acid looks shocked at Moon as her eyes tear up. Moon closes her eyes as a tear rolls down her cheek, waiting for a response from Acid. Her body tenses up as Acid's arms wrap around her. He presses his face against her chest as tears roll down his cheeks. Moon looks down at him in shock. Moon gently wraps her arms around his body before gently placing her chin on top of his head, avoiding his horn so as not to stab herself.

"Y-you were right," Acid stutters out, looking at Moon's furry gray chest. "But there is no other way to keep Dox safe," Acid says, looking up into Moon's blood red eyes that look back down at him. Moon sighs as she looks down into Acid's sparkling orange eye, with tears still fresh on his cheeks. The two get lost in each other's gaze, nothing mattered to either one one of them. The universe melts away, leaving the two hugging each other. A small smile creeps onto Acid's face as a smile slowly falls onto Moon's face.

Moon slowly lowers her head towards Acid and gently kisses him on the lips. Acid sighs as he kisses back. The two close their eyes as their mouths explore each other's mouths. Moon pulls Acid closer to her as Acid pulls himself closer to her. Acid's body shakes as a few orange sparks fly out of his horn. Moon's wings slightly unfurled as she gently pulled away from Acid. The two slowly open their eyes and look at eachother. Big, goofy smiles are plastered on their faces. Acid sighs before wiping away his tears.

"You want to be Dox's mother?" Acid asks, looking up at her.

"Are you asking me to marry you?" Moon asks, tilting her head with a smile.

"No, that would be too fast," Acid says, winking at the Moon. Moon chuckles a bit before Acid continues. "I'm just asking for help with raising Dox,"

"Of Course I will help you," Moon says, hugging Acid tight to her. Acid smiles and nuzzles deep into her body as he hugs back. Film smiles as he looks over at the table inside the lab. Sitting on the table is Acid's camera. Film flys over quietly and grabs it before flying back. He hovers in mid air as he looks through the camera's viewfinder. He lines up the picture with the two ponies before clicking the button. A bright flash startels the pair into separating. The two turn to look at Film in slight annoyance.

"What?" Film says as he lowers the camera. "You might want this for your wedding," Film says as he lands on the ground. Acid chuckles as Moon shakes her head. "Who wants breakfast, because it's on me!" Film says as he walks into the lab, placing the camera on the table. Acid and Moon follow him into the lab.

"I don't see the food?" Acid replies as he leans onto his brother's back and looks. Film looks back at Acid with a dead pained expression while Acid looks back with a big smile. Film shakes his head as Acid gets off Film's back. The group walks to the door and out of the room with chatter between them.
