Here's the final chapter for Slug Fu Showdown. It's gonna be quite a romantic one. I hope you like it.

Chapter 3: Night Out Date

It's been a few weeks since the Shane Gang stopped Spirex and Heltora from using the Elementals to destroy Slugterra. Junjie was outside the hideout, thinking about something. He wanted to ask Aerona out on a date. Only problem was…he never asked a girl out on a date before due to his life duty as the Protector of the Eastern Realm. "Junjie!" Eli called as he and Harley walked up to him. "What's wrong, buddy?" Harley asked. "I've been thinking." Junjie said. "About what?" Eli asked, curiously. "I…I want to ask Aerona out on a date. But I don't know how. I never had time to pursue a relationship due to my duty as my realm's Protector." Junjie explained. Eli and Harley looked at each other and nodded. "Don't worry, Junjie. We're gonna help you." Eli said. "Yeah. It's the least we can do for all your help with your teachings." Harley said. "Thank you, my friends. This will mean a lot to me." Junjie said.

Little did they know, Tad was listening from behind a tree. He was surprised to hear that Junjie wanted to ask out his eldest sister on a date. He knew what to do as he headed back to the hideout to tell Cilan.

After Eli and Harley helped Junjie encourage himself to ask out Aerona, the 3 of them headed back to the hideout. "I don't think I can thank you both enough for your help." Junjie said. "It was no problem, Junjie." Eli said. "Yeah. Anything for a friend." Harley said. But as they reached the hideout's entrance, they saw Tad standing in front of it. "Hey, Tad. What's going on?" Harley asked. "I heard your conversation about Junjie wanting to ask Aerona out on a date. I told my father about this and he said that he has something in mind for Junjie by giving him a bit of a test." Tad explained. "What kind of test?" Eli asked. "Follow me and you'll see." Tad said as he opened the doors and went inside. Eli, Harley and Junjie looked at each other with confusion before following.

When they entered the hideout, they saw the gang all gathered around the living room and muttering to themselves. "Guys! What's going on around here?" Harley asked. The gang stopped muttering and moved aside to reveal…4 Aeronas! Eli, Harley and Junjie were shocked to see this. "What is going on? Why are there 4 Aeronas?" Junjie asked. "This is a little something we call the Rules of the Garcias." Cilan said as he walked up. "What are the Rules of the Garcias?" Eli asked. "Simple. If a boy asks out one of my daughters, the other 3 must disguise themselves and look identical to the sister the boy wanted to date." Cilan explained. "So, the boy then has to choose the right sister to date with. If he chooses the correct sister, he's free to ask her out anytime. But if he chooses the wrong sister…he'll be humiliated with the lack of observation and be banned from ever asking out my daughters again." "This could be a tough challenged for Junjie." Kord said. "Garcias are a very strict type, not wanting their daughters to be a disadvantage for their beauties." Will said.

"Okay, Junjie, you will find the real Aerona by observing the 4 different Aeronas and be allowed to talk to them by asking them a few questions. If you choose the right Aerona, you will be free to ask her out anytime. But if you choose the wrong Aerona, you will be banned from asking her out." Cilan instructed. Yu Jie now got really worried about her brother if he chooses the wrong sister. Junjie started to talk between each of the sisters. "Okay. First Aerona, what is your favorite color?" He asked. "Blue." The first Aerona answered. "Second Aerona, what is it you are mostly afraid of?" Junjie asked. "Mostly dark places and being alone." The second Aerona answered. "Third Aerona, what your catchphrase when you get scared or surprised?" Junjie asked. "I usually say 'Sacré bleu'." The third Aerona answered. "And fourth Aerona, what does 'Zhēn'ài' mean in Chinese?" Junjie asked. "Zhēn'ài means True Love." The fourth Aerona answered. After all those questions were answered, Junjie closed his eyes and started to think. The gang began to wonder which Aerona he was going to pick, which also made Yu Jie worried. Then, when Junjie opened his eyes, he looked at the fourth Aerona with a smile and placed his hand on her right cheek. "You are the real Aerona." He said. As the fourth Aerona smiled, as if on cue, the remaining Aeronas removed their wigs and revealed their true identities, surprising the gang. "Congratulations, Junjie Hanadera. You have chosen the correct sister. Now you are free to ask her out anytime." Cilan said. "Thank you, Mr. Garcia." Junjie said. "Jun, how'd you figure out which sister was which?" Yu Jie asked. "Well, I had been spending time with the Garcias and getting to know them since Eli and Harley freed us from the control of the Goons. And by doing so, I was able to figure out which Aerona was the real one." Junjie explained. Cilan was impressed. "You did well, Eastern Champion." He said. "So, shall we celebrate by…taking me out on our first date?" Aerona asked. "I suppose we should. But where will we go?" Junjie asked. "I have a suggestion. You 2 should go to my birth home cavern, Sandstone." Joshwa suggested. "That's perfect." Aerona said. "I'll call my siblings and say that you're coming. They'll have everything set out for you." Joshwa said. "Thank you, Joshwa." Junjie said.

Later, Junjie and Aerona arrived at Sandstone Cavern. Barbara brought them to the hotel's local café and had them seated. "Thank you, Barbara. This really means a lot to us." Aerona said. "No problem. Anyone from the Shane Gang is always welcome here." Barbara said before walking away. Aerona started looking at Junjie, still thinking about the dream she had about him before they met. Junjie noticed the way she was looking at him. "Aerona, is there something wrong?" He asked. "Actually, there's something I have to tell you." Aerona said. "What is it?" Junjie asked. "Well, before we met, I had a dream about you." Aerona said. "About me?" Junjie asked in surprise. "Yes. I was in a void filled with white mist. Then I started hearing you cry out for help. When I saw you, you had the look of the Goon's Dark Slinger. And then…you kissed me." Aerona explained, blushing at the last part. "I kissed you?" Junjie asked as he blushed. "Yes. My first kiss." Aerona said. Junjie started to think for a second. "Aerona, do you know the Chinese legend of the Red Thread of Fate?" He asked. "Yes. It's a thread that connects a person to their one true love." Aerona said. "Aerona, I do not believe that your dream about me was a coincidence." Junjie said. "You believe the dream was like the Red Thread connecting us." Aerona guessed. "Yes. I understand how you feel about me, Aerona. And…I feel the same way about you." Junjie said. Aerona raised her hand and caressed Junjie's cheek. Then they moved towards each other and shared their second kiss.

Afterwards, they had a nice romantic dinner. "I think we should head back to the hideout." Junjie suggested. "You're right. We don't want to worry the others." Aerona said. As they stood up, Junjie gently took Aerona's hand in his as they walked back to their mecha beasts and head back to the hideout with their new relationship.

Well? How was that for a final chapter? Junjie wanted to ask Aerona out on a date. But after Tad overheard this and told Cilan about it, Junjie is put through a test by having the Garcia Quadruplets disguise themselves as Aerona. Junjie chose the correct Aerona and they go on a date in Sandstone Cavern. While there, Aerona confessed her dream to Junjie and they begin their relationship.
