Mission 2: Welcome to Elmore, California

(In the cliff of the forest)

"What the hell is this?" Dante said as he was looking at the distance.

"Seems like the Infinity Nirvana must have brought us here Dante," Vergil said as he was also looking at the distance as well.

Dante then chuckled and turned around to face Vergil while having a smirk on his face.

"Well then, I guess it's about time we find out what this place is ourselves," Dante smirked.

"Don't you dare think about it!" Vergil told Dante as he noticed his smirk.

Then just like he did in Devil May Cry 4, he jumps off the cliff backwards while having his hands out.

Vergil then ran to the cliff and looked down at the cliff to see Dante still falling before disappearing into the trees of the forest.

"Idiot."

Vergil then jumped down as well, he then uses the Yamato and stabs the rocks of the cliff and lands on the ground softly, once Vergil lands on the ground, he puts away his Yamato and looks around the forest only for him to hear Dante's sarcastic clapping as the younger Saprda jumps down from the tree.

"Dante, now it's not the time for jokes," Vergil said disappointed.

"Oh come on Vergil, you gotta admit that was something no Saprda could do." Dante said jokingly.

Vergil on the other hand was not in a happy mood to hear one of Dante's jokes to the point of where he rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Ok but on a serious note, we need to leave this forest post-haste." Dante told the older Sparda.

(In the forest with Gumball and his gang)

"Gumball, are you sure what you saw in that sky were two people?" The bright glowing Fairy asked Gumball.

"Of course Penny, Darwin told us that he saw them." Gumball told Penny.

"Yeah, I doubt about that-"

Just before Darwin could finish his three words, he trips over and lands right on his face.

"Darwin! Are you alright?" Gumball said as he picked Darwin up off the ground.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Darwin said while his face was bruised.

Darwin then looked down to see what tripped him and once he did, he saw two pistols that are named Ebony and Ivory on it. Darwin and Gumball both pick up the two guns and begin examining them.

"This is strange, I've never seen anyone carry a gun in Elmore." Penny said as she was looking at them.

"Yeah, literally." Gumball said as he had the same answer as well.

"Well whoever these are, we must report them to the police," Darwin suggested to Gumball.

Gumball on the other hand didn't feel comfortable since the last time back in Elmore Junior high when Gumball and Darwin crushed the cloud therapist with a file drawer. (If you've ever watch The Sock then you would get the reference)

"On second thought, maybe we should keep them?" Gumball suggested instead.

"Gumball, we are not going to keep guns like these in our house, we're gonna get in trouble if we do so," Penny told Gumball.

Gumball sighed, knowing that it's true, they can't keep weapons inside the house otherwise the cops would think that they're criminals instead.

"Alright, but we still need to find where the blue and red lights are, because we need to find out where they are at now," Gumball told Penny.

(In the streets of Elmore)

As both Dante and Vergil arrived at Elmore, they were surprised to see what there was in store. First there were weird and strange beings and creatures that were both wacky and weird, and second, most of them are either 2D or 3D in comparison. Dante and Vergil were in a state of confusion.

"Out of all the places I've been through, this one is the weirdest," Vergil said as he was confused by what he's seeing.

"Agree Vergil, it makes it feel like we're in a photo editing world instead of the human world," Dante told Vergil. "but since we're here, we might as well find a place to stay."

"With what? We don't have any money and even if we did, you would spend it all on pizza." Vergil told Dante.

"Hey look, we were in the underworld right? Well now since we're out of there we might as well rob someone while we can." Dante said.

"I'll do that job, I'm an expert at it." Vergil told Dante.

"Well what do you want me to do?" Dante asked the older Saprda.

Vergil then sighed.

"You find us where a hotel is, and once you do, let me know."

Vergil then jumped on top of a house and began sneaking around on the roof tops as people weren't noticing him.

Dante meanwhile was walking around the streets of Elmore when he saw a sign that said Joyful Burger on it.

"Welp, since I haven't eaten anything in the underworld, I might as well check in."

Dante then entered the Joyful Burger to see the place was full of customers, and not only that but the person who was working at the counter was a 3D rock that had a face, green shirt with a tag that said Larry on it, and a hat that was both orange and white on it. Dante could only look in confusion as if how in the world is he managing this all alone.

'Okay, how in the world can one man work at this fast food joint?' Dante thought to himself.

Dante then closed the door and turned around to see Vergil standing right behind him.

"So, did you get any information or money for us?" Dante asked Vergil.

"Well one yes, and two, the place we are at is Elmore, California," Vergil told Dante.

"Elmore, California? This place looks nothing like the Elmore we know about," Dante said.

"Well from what I saw in this place, yeah it's Elmore," Vergil told Dante.

Dante then realized one thing that came up in his head.

They were no longer in their universe.

"Great, the one thing I didn't want, going through a dimension that has all of this weird stuff here," Dante said, upset about what he's brought them.

"We can try to at least find a way out, but we need to rest if we do so."

Dante knew that what Vergil said was true and sighed.

"Well I couldn't find a hotel here so we can either stay at someone's house or sleep in the sewers." Dante told Vergil.

Vergil didn't like the idea of breaking into someone's house just so they can find a place to crash in, nor does he like the idea of sleeping in the sewers with a bunch of mice and alligators running around, but if it meant for rest, then he has no other option.

"If we do sleep inside of someone's house, then it has to be one with enough room for us," Vergil told Dante.

"I know exactly where that is," Dante smirked.

(In the streets of Elmore)

As the gang got out of the forest, they began questioning about who owns those two guns.

"Who do you think owns those two?" Gumball asked the gang.

"I don't know, but we can't be seen carrying these in our hands," Penny said.

"Yeah, we need to hide them, but where?" Darwin asked the gang.

"I could hide them in my house, my father has a storage box in there so it's the best way to hide them," Carrie tells the gang.

"Uhh, I don't think you can carry stuff, considering that you are a ghost," Darwin told Carrie.

"Oh."

"Okay then what about my place?" Gumball asked the gang.

Darwin then looks at Gumball in a panic.

"We can't bring them to our place, our mother will be mad at us for carrying these things!" Darwin tells Gumball.

"Come on Darwin, besides, what's the worst that can happen?" Gumball asks the gang.

"Uhh maybe the fact that you brought in a creation burglar inside our house to the point of where if he didn't do anything we would have gotten killed," Dawin said as he remembers that incident. (Basically The Friend Episode)

Gumball sighs knowing that it's true.

"But we won't fail again Darwin, I promise," Gumball tells Darwin.

The gang then face palms themselves knowing that the one thing Gumball is going to do.

And that is messing up on the hiding guns part.

(Back with the Sparda's)

The day became night and as soon as everyone went to bed Dante and Vergil were the only ones who were awake and when the looked at the house that was blue and square, Dante smiled.

"Please tell me that we're going to live inside that house, Dante?" Vergil told the younger Sparda in disappointment.

"Well, it's the only house I've seen, so it makes sense for us to crash here for the night," Dante said.

Vergil and Dante then looked around the house to see if there's any open windows, and after a few minutes they found one that was on top of the bedroom. Vergil could only look at the open window, disappointed since there could be kids sleeping up there.

"So you found something?" Dante asked Vergil.

"Yes, but it's up in the bedroom," Vergil said as he pointed at the top of the window.

Dante and Vergil then climbed inside the bedroom and began sneaking past three kids who were all asleep. While Vergil was sneaking past them, Dante looked at the kids in curiosity and confusion.

'Ok, either this place has no humans here, or we are really in a photoshop world,' Dante thought to himself.

As Vergil opened the door and closed it without making a sound, they both went down stairs to see an underground basement that was unlocked.

"You know, there's also an attic on top of the house," Dante whispered to Vergil.

Vergil knew that using the attic on top would make a lot of noise and would wake up the whole family.

"Yes, but I would rather use the basement because it doesn't make a lot of noise," Vergil whispered to Dante.

As Vergil and Dante enter the basement, they close the door without making any noise and begins to decent downwards to the point of where they can only see the dark.

"Well, at least we didn't wake up the whole family," Dante told Vergil.

"Yeah, but at least keep your mouth shut for a reason, we don't know if there fully asleep yet," Vergil told Dante.

"If only I had a watch to keep," Dante muttered to himself.

As Dante was lying down on the floor with his head next to a bag full of dirt, Vergil looked at Dante before looking at the door and then closed his eyes and said these words.

"In a universe where time and space breaks apart, a universe where only one remains, are we those ones? Are we that universe where one's fate collides with the next? Or are we not the ones at all?"

Vergil then opens his eyes and looks down at Dante to see him knocked out cold asleep, Vergil then lies down next to Dante and closes his eyes and falls asleep.

(Back at the human world)

Nero and Nico were running away from the static hole that was growing bigger and bigger overtime, As Nero was jumping building to building while carrying Nico, he then stopped to see the building in front of him collapse into the static hole, He then turns around to see the same thing happening as well, Nero and Nico only knew one thing.

Dante and Vergil did something for this to happen, but they didn't know what it was.

"We need to get to higher ground!" Nero said.

"We can't get to higher ground Nero," Nico told Nero.

"We need to, otherwise we'll die in there," Nero told Nico.

"Nero, we can't do anything unless we go down there and see for ourselves," Nico told Nero.

"Are you insane? We could get ourselves killed if we do so," Nero told Nico.

"We don't know unless we find out," Nico told Nero.

Nero knew that it was true, if they wanted to live, they needed to jump in and find out if the hole is death or life.

"I hope you're right about this," Nero told Nico.

They then took one deep breath and jumped into the void, not aware about the universe it would take them to.

And that's about it.

And before you question me about something, yes, Nero is going to the TAWOG universe, they're just not aware about it.

And yes Gumball and Darwin will find out that both Dante and Vergil are living inside the house in their basement and will find out about where they are from.
