Izuku rushed into Nezu's bursting through the door before quickly closing it behind him. "I'm here sir! What did you need?"
"Kingpin is fleeing the country," Nezu said immediately, not wasting any time at all. "He knows we're going to put out a warrant for his arrest soon, so he's getting ready to flee to America."
"What!?" Izuku shouted in shock and outrage, his expression was a mixture of fury and surprise. He didn't do all that work just for Kingpin to not get arrested.
"I'm trying to speed up the progress in getting a warrant, but I have no doubt Kingpin is using everyone he has in his pocket to delay it," Nezu explained, taking a piece of paper, and sliding it over to him. "I managed to get information on what jet he's going on, and where it's located. I need you to go over there, sneak in, and sabotage it before it can take off. You only have an hour, so you need to move quickly."
"Understood!" Izuku grabbed the paper, and put it in his pocket, before running out of the office.
XXXXXXXXXXXXX
After a quick costume change and swing through the city, Izuku finally arrived at the airport.
Izuku ran across the runway, completely invisible, looking for the private jet Nezu had shown him. Come on, Come on. Where is it? Where-there it is!
Izuku spotted the jet, and dashed over to it, as quickly as possible.
Thankfully, it was already ready to be entered, with the stairs pulled up, and the door open. Most likely because Kingpin would be arriving soon.
Izuku jumped through the door, and into the passenger area. "Ok. Now I just need to find the engine and-"
SHINK!
"Huh?" Izuku turned his head toward the noise and saw that the door close. "Oh…Oh no."
SHOOM!
Suddenly Izuku felt the plane move quickly like it was being moved by rocket, which it was.
Before Izuku even knew what happened, the plane was airborne and going higher and higher.
And then, a T.V. popped out of the ceiling, and revealed the Kingpin, smiling at him smugly. "Spider-Man."
"Well if it isn't Kingpin. Looks like all that food went to your brain instead of your stomach for once!" Izuku said sarcastically, putting his hands on his hips and looking around. "Neat trick. Put me in an airplane, and send me off somewhere. What is there a bomb on the jet? Gonna try and blow me up? I have a parachute, I can just leave you know."
"Ah, so your suit contains a parachute. It seems to be very well made, I'll have to look into the Tinkerer once I come back to Japan." Kingpin remarked, before chuckling. "And to answer your question, no there's not a bomb on the jet. Kraven has made me aware of your little extra sense."
"What?!" Izuku shouted in shock, his eyes widening.
"We don't know the finer details, we theorize it's a form of precognition, but at the end of the day, all we really need to know is that it seems to warn you of attacks in advance." Kingpin continued. "So we know such tactics won't kill you. That being said it seems Kraven was correct. Your little, let's call it Spider-Sense."
How did he guess the name? Izuku wondered briefly. I mean I guess it's not that hard, it's an extra sense that belongs to Spider-Man. Not like I gave it much thought myself.
"Doesn't seem to warn you about things that don't cause direct damage. Like being transported." Kingpin continued. "Which suits our plan well."
"Well is this the part of the villain's monologue where you explain your plan? I'm all ears!" Izuku remarked.
"I could do that. Or I could show you my plans." Kingpin laughed. "Thank you for allowing me to distract you long enough for this jet to reach its destination. And one more thing, I was lying about the bomb."
And then Izuku's Spider-Sense rang, loud.
Izuku burst out of the jet, not wasting any time he went right through the wall, and started diving down out of the sky.
KABOOM!
The plane exploded, and Izuku couldn't quite escape the blast radius in time, causing some of the force from the blast, to hit Izuku in the back, sending him hurtling down.
"Agh!" Izuku groaned as the explosion hit him, sending him spiraling for a minute before he tapped the white spider on his chest, and his parachute came out, slowing down his fall.
"Whew. That's twice this things saved me." Izuku said to himself as breathed a sigh of relief, as he slowly fell to the ground. "Well, I can't really relax just yet. He knew that wouldn't kill me, so he must have something else up his sleeve."
Then he looked down and saw that the Jet had taken him over a small, remote island. Which if Izuku had to guess, was owned by the Kingpin, and crawling with things that wanted to kill him.
"Alright, this is gonna be-" Suddenly, Izuku felt his Spider-Sense go off again, and he quickly tapped the logo on his chest, recalling his parachute and sending him back into free fall. "Oh no."
Rockets blasted out of the forested parts of the Island, rushing upwards toward Izuku.
Izuku flipped backward dodging the first rocket that came at him, before shooting a web line at the other rocket, and swinging it to hit another rocket, causing it to explode and destroy a few more rockets close to it, then he shot two more web lines at two rockets, and tilted them to the side, causing them to hit other rockets and explode.
With the rockets destroyed, Izuku now had a different problem to deal with.
The ground. Or rather the sandy beach he was about to hit.
Because now, he was too close in order for his parachute to slow him down, so he was just going to have just, take it.
Izuku took a deep breath, flipped himself so his legs were facing the ground, and got ready for impact.
SLAM!
The green teen smashed into the sand, causing the sand to erupt upwards and outwards, creating a small sandstorm.
Izuku was at the center of that storm, having landed on his feet, he was now in a crouching position.
"Agh." Izuku groaned as he struggled to remain on his feet despite the pain running through his legs. "Ow. Ugh. That went…better than I expected. At least I don't think anything's broken."
"Oh, looks like I'll have to fix that." Said Kingpin's voice through the sandstorm.
"Huh?" Izuku looked up, as the sand started to disperse, and in front of him, he saw a squad of five, 12-foot tall, humanoid robots, with a T.V. screen on their faces displaying Kingpin's face.
"Huh…and here I thought you couldn't get any bigger." Izuku forced himself to quip despite his nervousness.
"You should feel honored, I had these commissioned from I-Island. Specifically to kill you. I call them Spider-Slayers." Kingpin explained smugly.
"Ah, thanks always wanted to see I-Island engineering," Izuku said half sarcastically.
All the Spider Slayer's hands suddenly retreated into their bodies and were replaced with guns.
"Uh oh," Izuku said.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
The slayers unleashed hundreds of bullets at Izuku, but he'd already leaped forward over the robots.
Izuku then shot a web line at the farthest robot, and yanked it towards him, causing not only that robot to trip, but the others too as well as Izuku pulled it towards him and tripped them up.
Then he webbed them all to the ground, keeping them from moving.
"Heh, looks like your money was well spent." Izuku quipped sarcastically.
"Come now, did you really think I have something built to kill you, and not have a counter for your famous webs?" Kingpin chuckled.
PSSSHHHHH!
Suddenly, small holes opened up on the robots, and a gas came out of them, dispersing over their entire body.
SNAP!
Then, they got up, snapping his webs like they were made of string until they were all back on their feet.
"Huh. Yeah, you're right. Should have seen that coming." Izuku admitted, as once again he was face to face with the squad of robots, who turned their arms back into guns.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Once again they unleashed a hail of bullets onto Izuku's location, but he had already run towards them and punched the closest one in its midsection.
Izuku's fist dented the metal but didn't fully go through it, much to his surprise.
The slayer raised its arm and went to strike Izuku, but Izuku backflipped away as it smashed its arm into the ground, and the others continued to unleash lots of bullets at him.
Izuku landed on his feet a good distance away, before shooting out more webs, and gunking up their guns. Ok, Izuku. They're robots. Tough robots. So I need to go all out.
While the robots were expelling more gas to get rid of Izuku's webs, Izuku was already on top of them.
Izuku unleashed a flurry of punches into the closest robot, it one punch wouldn't do it, then how about a dozen.
His punches tore through the robots, midsection, destroying it completely.
Then before the slayers could rid themselves of his webs completely, Izuku ran through, and flurried two more of the robots, splitting them in half with his punches.
The other two got the webs off him and started opening fire once again.
Izuku shot a web line at one of the robots as he ran and dodged the bullets, and then he swung that one into the air, before running at the other robot, and unleashing another flurry of punches at its torso, ripping its metal apart, and destroying the robot.
The last robot hit the ground face down, and as it was about to pull itself up, Izuku rushed in, and stepped on its head, pressing harder and harder until-
CRUNCH!
Izuku crushed the robot's head under his foot.
"Alright. Not as impressive as I thought." Izuku admitted to himself as he took a sigh of relief, before evaluating the area around him. "Now…where am I?"
He was on a beach. On his left, unending waters. A sea or perhaps an ocean. Either way, there was no land in sight. On his right, was a jungle, so thick he couldn't see very far into it.
It looks like an island right out of a movie. Wait…an island. That actually makes sense. If Kingpin trapped me on an island then he could throw whatever he wanted at me without any chance for someone to intervene or for me to escape. Izuku surmised. There could be who knows how many of those robots here, villains too. Like Electro and Kravin. Also traps and who knows what else. Damn it…alright. First things first, I need to see if I can contact Nezu.
"Mask, call Nezu." Izuku said.
BZZZZZ "Error. Singal Blocked."
Izuku grit his teeth. "Figured he'd have thought of that. The only way you of here is to figure out how they're jamming my communications, and call someone to get me out of here."
Then, he felt his spider-sense go off, giving him an even greater feeling of danger than when he was on the plane.
Something was coming, something big.
He needed to get out of here, NOW!
Izuku sprinted into the jungle as fast as he could, not even bothering to maneuver around the trees, he just ran straight through them, smashing apart the dense trees with ease, as ran at breakneck speeds.
After running for miles and miles and miles away in the span of a few seconds, his spider-sense calmed, and he collapsed onto the floor in exhaustion.
KABOOM!
Suddenly, a missile slammed into the area where Izuku had been and erupted into a massive explosion, so big that it shook the island.
Izuku had to cover his eyes, as the explosion was so bright it would have blinded him otherwise.
Once the explosion died down, Izuku pulled himself back up, as the urgency of the situation reiterated itself to him. "Kingpin's not sparing an expense, he really wants me dead."
WRRRRRRRR
Izuku heard the sounds of metal moving, and quickly found himself surrounded by a dozen Spider-Slayers.
The spider-powered teen got ready, for what would be the next biggest endeavor of his life.
Hey guys! So your are probably wondering why it's been so long since I updated this fic.
Well long story short, a lot of shit has been going on in my life. I'm not gonna go through it all here, but it was, and still is a lot.
I was focusing on my I Don't Run An Orphanage story, because that was easy to write, and I need to take it easy right now. But I was feeling like writing this story, so I did.
Anyway, please review and have a nice day.
