"Lily! Come on, sweetheart, wake up!" He shook her. She was so pale.

" Padfoot, we have to take Lily to the hospital, she doesn't wake up."

"Come on; let's get Lily into madam Pomfrey hospital wing." James Nodded as they apparate in Hogwarts gate and James ran towards the hospital to let MadamPomfrey look over her.

"James,look at me. Poppy will do everything that she can for her. Right now,you need to get checked out and we need to talk." James shook his head.

"I'm okay... I was... I was bleeding everywhere, but I healed myself..." He sat down on the bed next to his wife,shaking.

Madam Pomfrey walked over to him, forcing a blood restoration potion down his throat. "He should be okay, Albus. You Can take him upstairs to talk, just make sure that he drinks this every half hour until it's gone."NO!" James exclaimed.

"I won't leave my wife!" Dumbledore nodded.

"Alright, James, we'll talk in here." He quickly locked the hospital door and sectioned the five of them behind the curtains and placed a silencing charm around them.

"Okay, James, tell me what happened."James nodded.

"Tonight, Lily was upstairs with the boys in the nursery and we heard a bang. I saw him, Voldemort; he was coming up the walk. I went down to head him off. We duelled for a while, and then he threw the killing curse at me. I dived out of the way but I don't know if it was far enough, but I was bleeding everywhere. I hit my head on the wall, and I passed out.

" Then I made it upstairs and Lily was... she was lying there in front of the crib." He said, his voice coming out in a sob. He buried his face in his hands as he began to cry.

Madam Pomfrey gave him some more blood restoration potion and then forced a calming drought down his throat before she turned back to Lily.

After some time Albus began" Daniel however had a lightning bolt cut on his forehead that was bleeding. It will definitely scar, but he'll be alright. I didn't know where to bring the news but he was the prophecy child, James, because he survived the killing curse tonight.

"Where is Voldemort?" Dumbledore shook his head.

"I don't know.You see, that is the biggest mystery of all. He disappeared. Thatprophecy, James, that prophecy said that your little boy would be his downfall but that he would choose his equal. Voldemort didn't hear that part. Lily threw herself in front of boys willingly ready to sacrifice herself to save her son's. This, I believe, put a special blood bond on Harry. This is old magic, something that Voldemort overlooked. Therefore, after he was done with Lily, he tried to kill boys and the spell backfired by Daniel. Voldemort is gone, but, then again, heis not dead. Daniel is now the Boy Who Lived. He's a hero."Jamesnodded.

"You don't think that Voldemort's dead?"

"Alas,no, I do not. He has delved farther into the Dark Arts than anyone that I know. He will return to power whether it be tomorrow, next week, next year, or in ten to twenty years. He will come back."

"What about lily madam Pomfrey?"

She is physically broken, James, I can't help her. Her spine is shot and she'sparalyzed from the neck down. Her brain is mush and frankly she's a danger to herself as well as others. I think that in time, she is in a bad state now. I stopped her internal bleeding but she in in a coma now, I don't know when she will wake up.

"What about St.Mungo's? I mean, they'll know what to do right?"MadamPomfrey shook her head sadly. "I'm afraid they won't. sorry james"

The Next morning

"Why are you asked me to come here headmaster?" asked James, After entering the headmaster's office.

"How are you and the boys?"

"I'm fine headmaster and Daniel plays with Sirius and Remus but Harry has some difficult time when he knows that Lily is in a coma."

"I see, That's not the only reason I asked you to come here." Albus watched as the smiles slipped from James' face, an expression of seriousness overriding in his face.

"I'm afraid the attack on your children is only the beginning. In order to ensure the childrens' safety, I propose that we separate them and you can't take care of Lily, Daniel and Harry at one time james."

Anger and shock was an understatement; James was furious at the implication. To separate the siblings at such a young age, with Harry being unable to meet his birth parents and younger brother for an indefinite amount of time, was too much! James opened his mouth to yell at Hogwarts headmaster for even suggesting that.

"I never did that to the headmaster, I never abandoned my child or separated him from his brother and mom."

Dumbledor sighs, it comes to him an unexpected answer from James but he has so many ways to do his work either word or wand.

"Daniel was the Chosen One, someone who was destined for greatness and adored by the public, a nearly impossible target with how famous he was; Harry, on the other hand, was just a child – a Potter child, but still a child. None of the Potters' enemies would hesitate to kidnap or attack the weakest link of the Potter family to lure the Chosen One into a trap; it was better for the world to not know of the existence of Harry Potter." said headmaster

James understood the implications and could only grit his teeth and clench his fist in resignation.

"But I never abandoned my child headmaster never." James muttered . well if word doesn't work then time for...

Dumbledor sent a strong confundus charm under his table. After the charms working on James, his demeanour changed suddenly.

"Who'll take care of Harry?" James asked through gritted teeth, his downtrodden visage very visible to Albus which caused him to sigh. Albus didn't want this either, but he could see no other alternative, after all it is for greater good.

"I have already contacted your father."

The floo lit up once again, and an aged man appeared as the light died down into nothing. The aged man, Charles Potter, was the current head of House Potter; his gaze scanned the room before it landed on james.

He walked a few steps towards James," How are Lily and the boys?" asked dorea.

"Lily is in a coma and madam Pomfrey said that she doesn't know when she will wake up and Daniel with Sirius, Harry locked himself in room after listening about lily's condition." replied james.

After sitting in a chair Charlus asked " why are you calling us dumbledore?".

Dumbledor sighs whether it is time or not he has to do it for his plan.

"I think it is best if we separate the boys, and it is best for Harry's safety," said dumbledore.

"You filthy headmaster, first because of you my family lost many witches and wizards in the first war and now my daughter-in-law is in the hospital wing and you even try to separate the boys, I've never approved that". growled Charlus .

" Now we have to train Daniel, if Harry stays with his brother then he will be jealous of Daniel's progress and be hearted towards his younger brother," said dumbledore.

"Do you approve of it james?" asked Dorea, saddened.

"It's for Harry's own safety and best for family" said James.

Charles scoffed at James' reply, not believing it for a second. His lips were downturned into a scowl, fiercely glaring at his son for even thinking of abandoning Harry. "After what your wife had done to protect your children, you still had the audacity to abandon one of them!" Fury laced Charles' voice as the room shook under the might the head of House Potter was exerting.

"You are no son of mine, James Potter. You, who abandoned a son of Potter in favour of a meddling old man's idea, have no right to become an heir of House Potter." In a flash, Charles cast an Apparition, leaving the room with his wife.

Dumbledore, was beaming inside. He had managed to save the situation and now his plan succeeded. He could easily train Daniel, sacrifice Harry eventually and defeat Voldemort. Eventually, both the Lord and Lady Potters would die along with Harry which would transfer the Lordship to Daniel, who would be under Dumbledore's control. It would further his own reputation, and undoubtedly make him much more influential. He didn't need the wealth of the Potters, but a couple of the books they held would certainly please him. It was a shame really- Harry had always been such an adorable baby. All was going to plan.

After 2 weeks

After the release of the daily prophet about the news of defeat of you-know-who It has been one of the best weeks for the wizarding world snice people celebrate the event of defeat of the dark lord with firecrackers and wine. But suddenly the attack of potter manor frightened the whole wizarding world it wouldn't even proved that it attacked by death eater or anyone else but people saw thirty to above number dark clothes wizard and witches enter the potter manor and death news of Lord potter and Ledy potter was distraction for wizarding world.

James is now miserable. How could he have made the mistake? Now his eldest son is dead with his grandparents and he is not even there to save his parents and his son.
