Naruto, Madara, and Mikoto arrived at the training field and met with Sasuke.
"Alright, so today we will take the official genin test." Mikoto said with a bright smile.
"What test? Isn't that the purpose of the graduation exams?" Sasuke asked in a confused tone.
"No, the graduation exams were to see who had the potential of becoming genin. you see, out of the ten teams that passed, only three will pass. Each sensei has their own test to give. As long as it's possible to pass the exam, I can do whatever I wish." Mikoto said with a smile.
"Great. I can only imagine." Naruto muttered.
"What's the test?" Madara asked.
"Naruto and Sasuke, you two need to become friends." Mikoto said with a giggle.
"What?" both Naruto and Sasuke asked.
"You heard me. The two of you need to become friends. A squad can only work if everyone works together. I believe that Madara can put the mission above anything else. It's you two that I'm concerned about. If the two of you cannot become friends, then the three of you will fail." Mikoto said. She then vanished in a shun shin while Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other.
"Well?" asked Sasuke
"Well what?" asked Naruto.
The two glared before turning their heads away from each other. Madar sighed as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "I swear, this going to be like babysitting a bunch of three year olds." Madara thought. The two continued glaring at each other.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer." Sasuke muttered.
"Why do I need a photo of you? I've got your mom to look at." Naruto muttered.
"What was that?" Sasuke roared as he walked up to Naruto and grabbed him by his collar.
"You heard me, but clearly you lack both hearing a memory. I remember this happening yesterday and I nearly knocked you out." Naruto said as he glared back at the Uchiha.
"Enough, both of you." Madara said as she walked over and grabbed both boys by their ears.
"What the hell are you doing? Let me go!" both Naruto and Sasuke roared. Suddenly, the found themselves trapped inside of a rock prison. "Madara! I swear on everything if you don't let me out of here!" Naruto yelled.
"I demand you let me go, now!" Sasuke ordered.
"Haha. You two are so cute. Especially you, Sasuke." Madara said with a sadistic smile.
"Madara, if you don'y let me out of here, there isn't a dimension you can run to that will protect you from me." Naruto said.
"Oh, shut up. You two are punished until you can get along." Madara said. "Until then, I'm going to get my nails done." Madara said as she walked away.
"What the hell do you need to get your nails done for?" Sasuke asked.
Naruto looked at the Uchiha. "Don't you know? Girls like to do things like that. Even if they're shinobi." Naruto said.
"You seem to know a lot about girls." Sasuke muttered.
"Well, Madara and I go way back to the days of the first great shinobi world war. Haha, I remember when I first asked Madara out. I was shaking so badly. It was Kurama who snapped me out of it." Naruto said.
"Huh? What do you mean? Who is Kurama?" Sasuke asked curiously.
"Oh yeah. Kurama is the fox inside of me." Naruto said with a smile.
"What? You have a fox living inside of you?" Sasuke asked in disbelief.
"Didn't you know? Where do you think Kyuubi went when he attacked the village?" Naruto asked.
"Wait a minute. Is that why the village treats you the way they do? Becuase you have the spirit of Kyuubi living inside of you?" The Uchiha boy asked.
"Yeah. All those beatings I received were because of it." Naruto said as he crossed his arms behind his neck. Sasuke remained still as he looked at the blond.
"Naruto contains the spirit of Kyuubi... He's hated by nearly everyone. Yet, he still walks around with a smile on his face and has a smoking hot girlfriend. Why isn't he angry?" Sasuke mentally asked himself.
"You're wondering why and how I'm so calm right?" Naruto asked with his eyes closed.
"Did you just read my mind?" Sasuke asked.
Naruto shook his head. "No. I have this ability that allows me to sense people's emotions. You're stuck at a crossroads. You're trying to understand why I'm okay with all the hatred. You see, it's the cycle of hatred. If I hate and desired revenge against all those that hurt me, their friends and familys would want revenge against me. If they got their revenge, then Madara would desire revenge. Do you see where I'm going with this?" Naruto asked.
Sasuke shook his head. "Sorry." Sasuke said in a low tone.
"Huh?" Naruto asked as he looked at the emo Uchiha.
"I said I'm sorry. I was such an ass to you... I do have a question though." Sasuke said.
"Don't worry about it. What's up?" Naruto asked.
"What is with you and my mom? Are you trying to start a harem?" Sasuke asked.
Naruto chuckled. "No. You see, I've never had a mother. While I can imagine that Madara does display some motherly actions, she's my wife. But your mom on the otherhand, she is strict, often corrects me, and even tells me to be quiet. Unlike the villagers and teachers we had, she does it with love. I've never had that. Honestly, the way you acted towards her the other day, I wanted to hit you so much. Not because I have a thing for your mom, it's because I would do anything to have a mother of my own. You should really apologize." Naruto said as he got up. "Wind Release - Kitsune's Wrath." Naruto said and the prison burst open.
"What? You could have opened it up at anytime?" Sasuke asked as tik mark grew on his forehead.
"Come home with me. I think there is something you should tell her." Naruto calmly said as he started walking with his hands in his pockets. Sasuke soon followed behind as he walked in the same fashion.
Namikaze Compound
Madara and Mikoto were sitting at the dinner table. Madara was reading a scroll that Naruto made for her with the basics of fuinjutsu and Mikoto was reading a book that talked about merging clans. Time went on as the two remained quiet until the door opened and Naruto and Sasuke appeared.
"Mikoto, Sasuke has something he wants to tell you." Naruto said as he walked passed Madara and grabbed her hand. Sasuke stood in front of his mom as he looked down.
"Mom... I'm sorry." Sasuke muttered.
Mikoto smiled warmly. "It's okay, Sasuke. Thank you." Mikoto said as she hugged her son tight.
"Mom, don't you hate Itachi for what he did?" Sasuke asked.
Mikoto sighed. "Sasuke, there is a lot you don't understand and never understood about your brother. I'll tell you some day, but until then, focus on training, okay?" Mikoto asked. Sasuke nodded.
"So, where will my room be?" Sasuke asked as he looked around.
Naruto walked in with a satisfied smirk on his face. "Um, Naruto? Where is Madara?" Mikoto asked.
Naruto looked at the clock. "She will be here in about fifteen seconds. I'll see you guys later." Naruto said as he jumped out the window.
"NARUTO NAMIKAZE! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE NOW! I WILL SKIN YOUR ASS ALIVE AND COOK IT INTO RAMEN AND FEED IT TO YOU WHILE I DECAPITATE YOUR FUCKING BODY!" Madara shouted as she ran through the window.
"Damn, what the hell happened?" Sasuke asked as he was sweating on the side of his head.
Mikoto chuckled. "Don't worry. Naruto probably pranked her. When you get married, you'll be amazed at the antics you and your wife go through." His mother said.
"You and dad were never like that." Sasuke said.
"Sasuke... Tell me, what did you think about your parent's marraige?" Mikoto asked.
"I don't know. Dad seemed really focused with Itachi and the village, along with the police force. He never really spent much time away from it." Sasuke said.
"No matter what, Sasuke. Never focus so much on one thing. If you do, you'll miss so many things." Mikoto said.
The Next Morning Hokage's Office
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?" Naruto and Madara shouted together at the Third Hokage. The aged hokage looked at the two with a look of both surpise and fear. "We're shinobi and you're giving us these damn chores that the civilians are too lazy to do?" Madara asked.
Before Hiruzen could speak, he was cut off. "I changed my mind, give me that hat. I'll show you how a village is ran." Naruto said.
"Silence! How dare you two speak to Lord Hokage!" Iruka shouted before he passed out from Naruto and Madara's killing intent.
"Naruto, Madara, please settle down. Mikoto, where would you say there strengnth is at?" Hiruzen asked.
"Well, I can say that Naruto and Madara could probably take a C rank mission on there own. Sasuke, though, he could use some training. However, since we're a team, we don't leave anyone behind." Mikoto said with a smile.
Hiruzen smirked. "Alright, D rank mission it is." the hokage said before Naruto snatched the scroll.
"I can't believe I'm asking this, but can we do a bandit elimination mission? I know there are a ton of them. It will help Sasuke get real world experience without being in real danger. Not to mention, he'll get over his first kill." Naruto said.
Hiruzen sighed. "Curse you Hashirama and Tobriama. Leaving me with this mess." Hiruzen thought. "Fine, here you go. There is a small camp outside the village. Good luck." Hiruzen said.
Mikoto sighed. "Sometimes I wonder who is worse, Naruto and Sasuke or Naruto and Madara. Haha, I guess it can't be helped." Mikoto thought. "Alright, pack for a week. I'll meet you at the gate." Mikoto said as she shun shinned away with Naruto quickly following behind her.
"Wait." Sasuke called to Madara.
"What?" Madara asked.
Sasuke started blush as he looked away. "How do I do that? You know, the vanishing thing?" Sasuke muttered.
"Haha, the shun shin? You guys haven't learned it? Damn, okay. Come here, I'll take you." Madara said as she extended her arm out for Sasuke to take until she pulled it back. "Sike! See you at the gate, don't be late." Madara said as she vanished in a puff of smoke.
Konoha Gates
Madara appeared at the gate and sighed when she saw that nobody had arrived yet. "Where the hell is everyone?" Madara asked until her blond husband hung upside down from a tree a stole a kiss.
"I'm right here, I've actually been waiting for you." Naruto said as he pulled Madara up with and began making out with her on the branch. The female Namikaze giggled as she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a tighter embrace as they continued kissing.
After fifteen minutes, Sasuke arrived and sighed at seeing that he was the only there. "Where the hell are those two?" asked Sasuke as he looked around.
Mikoto walked up and greeted her son. "Alright, are you guys ready to go?" Mikoto asked.
"But mom, where are Naruto and Madara at?" Sasuke asked. This made his mother chuckle as the two in question jumped down. To Sasuke's surprise and Mikoto's horror, both Naruto and Madara's neck had been filled with hickeys.
"Naruto, Madara, what the hell were you guys doing up there?" Mikoto asked while scolding her surrogate son.
"What? We're married. It isn't like she's my girlfriend anymore." Naruto said.
"He does have a point." Madara pointed out.
Mikoto pinched the bridge of her nose. "Alright, the mission is simple. We locate the camp, rescue any and all hostages, leave all but one, interogate, and then eliminate. Any questions?" Mikoto asked.
"Yeah, if there aren't any hostages, can we go all out?" Madara asked.
"I'm horrified to see what going all out is. But no, this is an exercise to help with future infiltration missions that are much higher rank. When we arrive outside the perimeter, we'll plan accordingly and move from there. Let's go. It shouldn't take us an hour." Mikoto said and the three of them proceeded forward.
Team seven arrived outside the perimeter. "Alright, team. Naruto, you have the greatest reserves of us all. Make a few shadow clones and have them scout the area. When you find all the information you can, dispel yourself so you can tell us everything." Mikoto ordered.
Naruto gave a salute and created a few shadow clones before ordering them to begin their scouting. "Madara, there may be a chance that this missione sculates to a B or A rank mission. Besure to keep your sharingan activated to inform us of any genjutsu or enemy ninja approaching." Mikoto said.
"Yes, Mikoto sensei." Madara said with a fake salute.
"Finally, Sasuke, you'll be with me. Once all the information is gathered and no opposing shinobi are in range, we'll proceed in. Make sure that when you engage the enemy, you don't let your emotions stop you. The moment you do, you're already did." Mikoto said in a stern tone.
"Yes, mother." Sasuke said.
"From this point of, we all have code names. I will be Hawk, you'll be raven, Madara will be rose, and Naruto will be Kitsune. This will prevent anyone from knowing who were are at first. Make sure to also limit how much information you give. It's possible that there is a spy sent to watch over us." Mikoto said.
"Um, Hawk?" called Madara.
"What is it?" Mikoto asked as she turned around but froze at the sight before her. Standing in the center of the bandit camp, all the tents were torn down, Naruto was covered in blood and he was shaking with a kunai in his hand. The bandits pilled up. "Naruto?" Mikoto asked as she and the others quickly got to them.
"Naruto, what are you doing? what about the plan?" Madara asked.
The blond continued shaking as if he didn't hear her. Seeing this, Madara slowly approached him. "Naru? Are you alright?" she asked in a low tone.
He looked at her. "I don't know what happened... I was scouting and everything went blank. Next thing I remember, everyone here is dead." Naruto muttered out. "It's, it's like the war... All those innocent lives I took... I'm a monster..." Naruto said.
Sasuke was startled. Before him, hundreds of dead bodies. Never would he believed that his teammate was capable of such things. "Naruto? Hey man, you alright?" Sasuke managed to say.
"It must be his necrophobia..." Madara thought. "Alright, mission success, somewhat." Madara said as she gave Mikoto the look that meant she would explain everything to them later. The former Uchiha clan nodded as they returned to Konoha and explained the mission with the basic detail while leaving out Naruto's reaction.
Namikaze Compound
When they arrived back home, Madara helped Naruto get cleaned up and laid him down. "Hey, it's going to be alright. I'm going to help you get through this. Remember, we're the dream team." Madara said with a soft smile.
"You don't understand. The look in their eyes as they were about to die. It can't believe it..." Naruto said as tears fell down his face.
"Naruto, I do understand. You aren't a monster. Those bandits were going to do awful things. It needed to be done." Madara whispered as she pulled him in.
"It isn't the killing that scares me. It's the fact that I enjoyed every single moment of it. The lust for blood, it drove me insane. It was as if it was my own personal brand of heroine." Naruto cried out. His tears continued running down his face until he fell into a deep sleep. After, Madara pulled the blanket over him and kissed his forehead before going downstairs.
Mikoto and Sasuke sat at the table. Mikoto made them some coffee. It didn't take long until Madara joined them. "Sorry about that. You see, when Naruto and I have a moment such as that, we promised to never leave each other's sight until we calmed down." Madara said.
Mikoto nodded. "Madara, what happened? We were talking for less than thirty seconds. How did all that chaos occur in such a short time?" Mikoto asked.
"How did we not notice it?" Sasuke chimed in.
"Have you guys ever heard of the silent killing technique?" Madara asked as she poured herself a cup of coffee.
"Yes. I believe it was created by the Gold and Silver brothers with their fast speeds and abilities to kill by boosting their speed to the point they couldn't be heard or seen." Mikoto said.
"Actually, it was Naruto. During the first great shinobi world war, Naruto encountered quite a shinobi. Though it pains me to say it, my Naru wasn't the best. At least, not at that point. He need to develop a style of fighting that would allow him to eliminate the enemy without anyone knowing. It was then he created his swift release. This allowed his body to move a blur and kill his targets. In large areas, he often mixed his boil release to prevent anyone from seeing him that had been watching from a distant." Madara explained.
"So, he developed the silent killing technique? Is it really effective?" Sasuke asked as the idea caught his attention when it came to avenging the clan.
"Yes. However, many people have tried to mimic it. The Gold and Silver brothers created a variation with their lightning armor. The only person who has come close is Zabuza Mommochi, the demon of the hidden mist. By using his hidden mist jutsu, he's able to complete the jutsu almost perfectly. The only thing that stops him is someone with an ocular jutsu or a sensory ability." Madara continued explaining.
"Naruto fought against many Uchiha, right? How was he able to counter them?" asked Mikoto.
"Naruto was clever. His swift release was primarily used to outspeed the sharingan. It also prevented the Byakugan from seeing him. The boil release preverted those with summons to track him down. The only way he could be countered, would be by a long range sensory type. You don't become a shinobi like Naruto unless you train yourself to cover all your weaknesses. What do you know about Senjutsu?" Madara asked.
"I don't really know much. Apprently it's an advanced form of chakra control that relies on nature chakra?" Mikoto guest.
"Yes. Nature chakra is the most purest form of chakra. It cannot be absorbed, sensed, and the only thing that can counter it, is nature chakra. It's honestly overpowered in its own way. While my Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and all my abilities made me powerful, NAruto's sage mode alone, it was enough to take out the Uchiha anytime he wanted to." Madara declared.
Sasuke's eyes shot wide. "Are you serious? Is he really that powerful?" Sasuke asked.
Madara nodded. "Well, not right now. But as he trains, he'll gain his power back. You see, Naruto has a goal. In our past life, he sacrificed himself in order to make the world a better place and when I met with the Shinigami, he damn near did that. However, my selfishness stopped that goal from being created. He wants a world full of peace, unity, and no more hatred. I believe that he will do it and no matter what it takes and what destruction needs to occur. I will stand by his side until the day that I'm dead." Madara declared.
Mikoto smiled warmly while Sasuke looked at her. As silence took over the three, each of their minds drifted into a different direct. "Naruto, Madara... You two may be just what this world needs." Mikoto thought. "Loser... No, Naruto... Maybe, just maybe, I've been doing this wrong all this time." Sasuke thought. "Naruto, I will not let you fall into the darkness the Shinigami told me about. No matter what, we'll rise above any and all challenges we face." Madara thought as she left the table to join her husband in a night of full rest.
