"In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods"

Throughout the galaxy there is constant struggle. Factions face of by the day, billions if not trillions lose their lives for causes and beliefs that may never have mattered in the end. Yet none more fight so defiantly than the Imperium of Man. In no time in the past, present, or even the ever-changing future could there be an empire of such size and magnitude. Untold deaths and births have ranged its long reign. Holding claim to millions of planets, and countless worlds dying each day. An empire brought to life by the God-Emperor of mankind, his ever so grace and wisdom wishing to reclaim what humanity has lost so long ago, and to strive for more. A belief in which progress and advancement could be the for front through a unified humanity, now leaves a regime slow to death and forgetting the promise of hope for each tragedy that occurs. Yet for ten thousand years it still lives.

In due part by the brave men and women, near infinite in number, fighting for the survival of the human race. From the brave and courageous space marine to the lowly and humble guardsmen, these warriors, heroes, fight for the Imperium of Man.

However, to supply and arm the war machine of this massive empire requires industrial capacity like never seen before. The Adeptus Mechanicus, a cult by which they strive for technology and knowledge, no longer believing in creating nor inventing, manufacture the armaments necessary, among other needs for the Imperium. Such demands require the forge worlds, planets stripped of their ecosystems and replaced with factories. Spanning across the lands as far as the eye can see.

They are looked upon by tech priests. Their responsibility indicative to the production of the imperium war machine. They must not falter, they cannot fail. Unfortunately, such work takes a toll. For even with their enhancements via cybernetics, they are still human. And even humans require leisure everyone in a while.
