(The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild- Calamity Ganon Phase 2)
This was it, the fate of Hyrule rest within the hands of one who had conquered all other trials before him. Kill this monstrosity, save Zelda and by extension, Hyrule. The battle was beginning to take a toll on Link despite the Divine Beasts' preemptive strike on Ganon. Fortunately the same was for Ganon, his spider-like form had take much punishment as it was missing limbs and weapons that were scattered across the room. Ganon charged another beam dropping its imitation of Daruk's protection to attack, Link waited with bated breath and a raised shield as he anticipated the attack. The laser emitted a high pitch beeping, then a quicker lower pitch, now! Link parried the powerful blast and it hit a bullseye right on the creature's forehead sending it crumpling to the ground and creating a noticeable crack that seeped Malice from it. Link saw an opportunity and took it as he ran full speed ahead with the Master Sword, he jumped with all his might and plunged the blade deep into Ganon's forehead with a satisfying SHINK and jumped back with the Master Sword. Ganon screamed in agony and began writhing in pain as it began to lose form eventually exploding in a wave of Malice and everything went white.

Beacon Academy was a warzone, Grimm littered the campus seeking out students to hunt and White Fang scrounge the building for any potential victims. Vale burns in the distance with hunters doing everything they can to save as many lives as possible. Atop Beacon Academy a fierce battle is taking place, The Fall Maiden has a smug smile affixed to her face. She has won and this 'champion' has no hope of stopping this, though she has to give the girl some credit for her bravery. The wind and fire was all that was heard as the Wyvern watched Cinder walked slowly to her wounded prey and lifts Pyrrha's head up to meet her own. "It's unfortunate you were promised a power that was never truly yours. But take comfort in knowing that I will use it in ways you could never have imagined." Pyrrha still defiant to the end asks "Do you believe in destiny?" Cinder though surprised decides to dignify the question with an lol answer "Yes." Before she could finish her the Wyvern then screeches in pain as it dissolved into black smoke Cinder looked around in bewilderment, nothing could have attacked it much less kill it, what the hell was going on?! Then an ear piercing roar shattered the silence as a dark magenta silhouette of a boar's head encircled the academy in an upwards spiral, as it does this the world begins to change around her. A giant citadel appears on Mount Glenn, four giant pillars of unknown design surround Beacon. Her soul shook in fear at the beast, this wasn't Salem's doing, this was something far more ancient and primeval. Focus Cinder! Kill the girl and leave! So she forms a bow made of obsidian from her maiden powers and aims it at the meddlesome girl. However unbeknownst to her a girl in a red hood appears in the wreckage and analyzes the scene before her. She realized Cinder's gonna kill Pyrrha! Ruby won't be fast enough to reach her but reached out in a bid to stop it somehow whilst screaming "PYRRHAAAAAA!!" Cinder stops mid draw in shock yelling "WHAT?!" Then everything went white.

When Link could finally see again he noticed that he was outside to the south of Hyrule Castle in the open fields with Epona next to him or was it? It seemed to be merged with some other structure, but that was for later time now it was time to face Ganon one last time. He turned around and saw a swirling cloud of dark magenta. "Ganon.. Ganon was born out of a dark past. He is a pure embodiment of the ancient evil that is reborn time and time again.." Zelda spoke in his mind as a giant hooves burst out from the cloud of Malice. "He has given up on reincarnation and assumed his pure. Enraged form" She continued as a giant boar's head emerged from the dispersing cloud "If set upon the world the destruction will be unlike anything ever seen before." The giant beast had finally assumed its flaming form and stared intently at Link and Epona. A bright, warm glow descended from above and eventually revealed itself to be a bow of elegant design. "I entrust you with the Bow of Light- a powerful weapon in the face of evil." It landed in his hands and he kept it prepared for anything. "Link... you may not yet be at a point where you have fully recovered your power or all your memories." Zelda said as Link mounted his horse. "But courage need not to be remembered" Ganon roared in the distance and Epona whined "for it is never forgotten." And so with a 'Hyah!' The two of them ran at the beast full speed ahead. Link was more than ready to validate all the pain he endured to get here, the numerous trials, the loss of friends, and the amnesia. It all came down to this.

The beast charged a massive pink beam at Link and fired, fortunately Epona was fast enough to outrun such an attack "Malice covers the entirety of Ganon's body, none of your attacks will do any damage him as it is. I will create points of weakness where I can but my power is waning, be as quick as you can!" Golden triangular runes then covered the left flank of Ganon as he roared in anger and pain seemingly immobilized. "May you be victorious!"
Needing no more encouragement, Link quickly began shooting the runes, damaging the beast significantly and sending the beast into a rage.
"Beware of his legs Link!" Zelda yelled as the beast reared onto its hind legs and began to stomp toward him, new runes appeared on Ganon's hooves delaying his attack "Hit the runes to stop him in his tracks! I won't be able to keep them up for long!" And so Link did so with some struggle from so far away. He was successful however and Ganon was forced to stumble back onto all fours. The runes appeared again this time on the right flank, Link
hurried to shoot the runes and as he did so, Ganon prepared another beam. Ganon backed up and once again reared onto his hind legs, this time with the beam charging, slowly turning the sky a deep magenta. "Link, this attack will be devastating if it hits you! Do you see the glowing point on Ganon's stomach? "
Link noticed a low golden glow threatening to pierce through, Link gave a nod. "Good! Fire your bow on my mark!" Link drew back the bow slowly and cleared his mind, no distractions, just him and the target and now to wait.
"Three...Two...One...Now!" Link released the arrow and waited with baited breath as the bolt flew through the air...waiting...waiting...waiting...hit.
Bullseye, perhaps Revali would've been impressed...
Probably not.
Ganon once again fell, this time falling all the way onto it's stomach and releasing wide, short range blast that set the ground ablaze and what could only be described as a tumor of eyes burst out of Ganon's forehead. "We're so close! Hit the large eye and we can end this!"

Link rushes Epona toward Ganon as he gets back up on his legs concealing the weak point, it unleashes a final desperate beam that Link barely dodges the attack and can feel the heat singeing his Champion's Tunic, the Hero uses the burning ground to his advantage as he leaps off Epona and pulls his glider out and rides the updraft up. All Ganon could do was watch as Link flew above him, "Now, Link!" Exclaimed Zelda as he folded his glider and readied his bow at breakneck speeds and prepared an arrow. It was an easy shot, so why was he so nervous? Regardless he let go of the arrow, and the eye exploded in a blast of magenta and gold.

Ganon was now roaring in agony as a vital part of its form was destroyed, he coughed once, twice and a golden flair gracefully flew through the air and eventually revealed itself to be a woman. Zelda! The meddlesome woman he had triumphed over a hundred years ago, who foolishly thought her power was enough to defeat him. Now she was free again, her cursed power glowing around her warmly. If he wasn't weakened, this scene would have played out similarly to a century ago. But now the Hero stood by her side, and he was weakened from the battle, he knew this was over.
For now at least.
Regardless, he would not just stand there and die. No. He was far too prideful for that. The golden light flared brightly in-front of him making him recoil in pain and anger. He faded into his ghostly form for a different way of attack, instead of anything meaningful coming from it, the accused woman merely raised her arm and the last thing he saw was a bright golden light.

Zelda finally stood on solid ground after a century of being consumed by Ganon. She could finally see the sky slowly fade back into its natural color and could finally feel the wind blow against her body. She could finally feel the grass gently prick at her skin. But she could also feel what was always there for the entirety of that century. The sadness from losing everyone she knew, the anger against Ganon for destroying her home and kingdom. But most of all, her love for Link that had kept her from despair for a century. "I've been keeping watch over you all this time, I've witnessed your struggles to return to us as well as your trials in battle" Zelda spoke as Link walked closer to her "I always though-no, I always believed you would find a way to defeat Ganon, I never lost faith in you over these many years." She continued as she turned to him. "Thank you Link..." a small smile appeared on her face"The Hero of Hyrule." Trepidation gripped her heart as she asked "May I ask? Do you really remember me?"
Instead of a verbal response, Link gave a smile of his own, and pulled her into a hug.
They stayed like that for a while.
(Uh-oh! This isn't another Destiny fic! 'What happened?!' I hear you cry. I simply just got sick of it, is what happened. So I decided to try something new and LOZ turned out to be that new thing, I'm a little new to this franchise so please excuse me if I get somethings wrong, I indeed do my research but I know that I'm going to screw up a minute detail and one of you is going to go on a tirade in the comments. So chill out! I know I kept RWBY's involvement to a minimal in this chapter but that will change with the next one. Anyway look at this dog.)
