A/N: What's up? I am alive once again after what have been months. I have been feeling burnt out as usual, so that's why no update. So, what's on my mind other than to update?

I'm thinking of writing a reaction type of story. Difficult, but I do want to try and see where it goes. However, good reviews or not, it will be treated as a side project as my focuses are Monkey's King Adventure, and King Crimson.

I've got some ideas planned nicely, but I'm still struggling with the actions and dialogues, while trying to keep the characters in character. And the fact that I'm feeling burnt out certainly do not help.

I do feel a little bit better, hence why I'm starting to write. Here's the update for Monkey King's Adventure.

-Chapter Start-

"Let me introduce myself once again. My name is Jin Mori, and I'm the strongest fighter!"

The reintroduction by Jin Mori earned wide eyes from his from his friends, however their expression is a clear one to explain. Aether's filled with one of wonder and rather baffled from the claim.

As for Paimon, the same as Aether, except remove the wonder with suspicion. Even with her suspicion, not for Mori's attention, but whether Mori's claim is a factual one or a self-claim, her eyes morphed into those of a star.

Although their journey have just begun, they feel they can trust Mori's words of being the strongest fighter. After all, he has just driven off a dragon with the power of Anemo, alongside a mysterious boy.

Once again, Aether's eyes widened as he heard the question, although its more of a taunt or provocation, before turning to Mori, "Earlier, you've claimed that the boy is not a human..?"

Mori nodded his head, taking a moment to consider how to answer him. "I'm not sure if he's human or not, but I can sense this… presence which radiated off him, just like yours. Though well hidden, his presence far outweigh yours."

Internally, Mori theorized it's due to the fact that a large fraction of Aether's powers are sealed at the moment. Not only that, but the boy have a certain airy sense, while Aether's are bright, a golden light like a star in the night sky.

"Even so, he could still be human, right?" Paimon barged in the conversation, feeling rather unwanted as she was kept out from the conversation.

The Monkey King shook his head in a no. "I'm still new to this world, but I don't think any Anemo Vision users can radiate that much Aura, and conceal it so well."

His answers brought the trio into a silent contemplation of their recent confrontation. The mysterious boy, the massive dragon, something is definitely up.

Noticing the stressed tension, Paimon decided to light the mood up a bit, clapping her hands to ring a satisfying clap sound. "Well, no time to dwell on it now! We are certa-"

"I will definitely and personally see that you will become a fish bait if you say we will arrive shortly."

"Wha- That's rude, Aetherrrr!" As if to indicate her frustration, the fairy-like girl stomp her foot in midair, displaying a rather cute sight, further increased by the childish pout which etched on her lips. Mori's boisterous laugh certainly do not help in making her mood better, as indicated by a few tears gathering in her eyes.

Deciding that is enough misery for little Paimon, Mori gave a silent command that's enough is enough, and so once again, they resume their journey to Mondstadt.

The City of Freedom.

On their way to Mondstadt, Mori's thoughts once again gather to form a theory for the name of the city. Is it as free as the name suggests? No hidden agendas by the Archon? According to Paimon, the City of Freedom is as the name suggests, no Archon to lead it to glory. Despite being founded by Barbatos, the Archon of Anemo, the deity is nowhere to be found in the city. Perhaps far away, aware of any that is happening, and ready to engage should his city be in danger?

Too immersed in his own thoughts, for the second time since they met, Mori bumped onto Aether's back again, earning a deadpanned look from the star traveller. That look then changed, gesturing to look in front of them.

Following the blonde's gesture, Mori was soon surprised by the sight of the city. Mondstadt, the City of Freedom, in all its glory. Despite being one of the major continent region, due to their Archon being one of the original winners of the Archon Wars, the city itself do not look imposing. In fact, true its name, there's a sense of freedom surrounding it. Due to his sense, Mori could see the people living happily. Instead of looking like an empire, Mondstadt resembles a windmill town, completed with the necessary buildings.

A wry grin etched on his lips as he voiced out his thoughts, "So that's the City of Freedom, huh?"

Besides him, Aether is as shocked, while Paimon nodded her head rather excitedly. "Yep, yep! Paimon can't wait to taste all the food they have!"

"Glutton." A teasing grin was on Aether's face, which earn a comical smack on the head from Paimon, to which he only laughed at.

However, their merry mood is stopped as a voice rang out.

"Stop!"

Mori immediately get on guard, ready for any attackers due to the sudden shout. Soon enough, a figure sprinted from the side before stopping in front of them, revealing herself to them. A youthful face greeted them, a teenage girl about the same age as Aether (if he is a human that is), long raven locks completed her visage which ran till her shoulder blades. For her choice of wear, she seems to wear a white shirt, complete with what look like a brown plate on the abdomen? Or is it part of the shirt? Covering it is a red open jacket with the sleeves rolled up till around her elbows. On top of her head is a red ribbon, to which Mori think it makes her look like a rabbit, before wisely keeping it in his head. For her lower garments, she wore a brown shorts, with thigh high socks of red and white in colour. To complete her outfit, belts wrapped around her waist, which hangs a set of small bag, perhaps to contain her supplies. (1)

"Halt, strangers! Who are you, and what is your intention to come here in Mondstadt?" Mori raised an eyebrow at the rather blunt straightforward way in she asked her question towards them.

Paimon however, "Um… Shouldn't you introduce yourself first to know someone's name?"

As if to mock her, Aether look at her in a gobsmacked fashion, as if he is surprised that she knew such things. For his efforts, Aether earned another smack on the head.

The girl, realizing the truth of Paimon's words, widened her eyes before a sense of panic seem to fill her visage, as if forgetting a set of rules (2). Clearing her throat, she took a moment to recompose herself before looking straight at them once again. "Hail, respectful travellers. May I ask what… are your names, and your intention to come here?" The girl looked a little bit more worried, and panicking as she asked her question for the second time. Forgetting one more thing, she closed her legs before delivering an unfamiliar salute before speaking once again, "My name is Amber, Outrider for the Knights of Favonius. As one of the knight, it is my duty to enquire the names and intentions of newcomers to our City."

The three of them, in a comical fashion, smack their fists on an open palm of their own, understanding the reason for her questions.

Mori, being the most vocal out of the three, decided to introduce himself first. "My name is Jin Mori, and I'm the strongest fighter!"

Aether smack his palm on his face at the rather ridiculous way of Mori's introduction. "As for me, my name is Aether."

The Outrider, Amber, nodded her head at each introductions before speaking. "Aether and Jin Mori? While I never heard the name Aether before, Mr. Mori sounds like he is from Liyue or Ina-"

"Mr. Jin, you got my name backwards."

Amber, realizing her mistake, thank Mori with a nod, "My mistake, Mr. Jin here sounds like he hails from Inazume or Liyue. Are you from there?"

Mori's eyes widened at the implications, but shot down any hope of his friends being in the place she mentioned. Perhaps, its just the way they name their people and nothing more? Realizing the Outrider is waiting for his reply, he then spoke. "No, I can't say I'm familiar with the names."

"I see, must have been a coincidence then. However, what are you?" This time, Amber pointed her finger at Paimon, who just tilted her head to the side in a questioning manner. "Is she a mascot of sorts?"

Aether cut off Paimon before the pixie-like beings could, answering Amber with a shit-eating grin. "Nope, she's our Emergency Food."

"Huh/Eh?!" Two sets of voices answered him at once, to which he couldn't but laugh out loud.

"That's worse than being a mascot, Aether, you meanie!" Hence, cue another smack on the head from Paimon. The sight was rather ridiculous, watching a blonde having his head smack repeatedly by a small flying girl. Unable to contain herself, Amber soon join in with a set of giggles of her own. Hearing the Outrider joining in, once again, tears start gathering in Paimon's eyes.

Mori, noticing this, grabber her close to him before patting her head, messing the white soft locks on her head. "Calm down, Paimon, I'm sure they don't mean it." Despite assuring the close to crying girl, a soft smile could be seen tugging on his lips due to the sight in front of him. "As for our intention to come here," with a serious tone, the jovial mood turned into a serious one as everyone's attention is on the Monkey King, "we are here to search for Aether's missing sister, or at least, to know if anyone have seen her."

The aforementioned blonde nodded his head, before adding his own two cents. "She's around my height, same eye colours, and hair colour. We're twins, if that can help you search easier."

Amber took a moment or two, to process the info she heard from both men. A hand cup her chin as if to make her focus better, no doubt her brain trying to remember if she has seen a person meeting Aether's description. A silence or two after, she began to shake her head before voicing out, "I don't think I have seen any person matching your description or outlandish outfits, but perhaps the people inside have?"

Hearing her answer, Aether hang his head low, feeling down from the answers he do not want to hear. Mori noticing this, couldn't help but frown. Deep inside, he began to wonder if the mysterious boy from earlier could know something about the star traveller's sister. Due to his internal monologue, he did not notice the others have walked away, not towards the city but outskirts of it, near the forest they've ventured through.

"Are you coming, Mr. Jin?"

"Eh?" It seems, he's been way deeper in his head than he thought.

"We're going to a nearby Hilichurl camp, they've been increasing in numbers and getting closer to our main route recently."

"A Hilichurl?"

The Outrider took a moment, wondering how she could explain it. "How should I explain this… They're a humanoid tribal creature, who have their own languages. Some are pretty docile, engaging only provoked, and some actively seek out to harm any civilians."

"Are they strong?"

"I'm sorry?" Amber seem flabbergasted by the question, fearing her hearing have failed her.

"Are they strong?" this time, both Paimon and Aether joined in with Amber's flabbergasted question as Mori repeated his question. As if that wasn't enough, a wild grin etched on the divine (not that they knew) being's lips.

"Well…" Amber began, scratching her head nervously as a trickle of sweat drips down her temple, from anxiousness and the warm weather. "I can't say about their strength, for they can provide a test for the unprepared. Not mention there are different types of Hilichurls. The basic Hilichurls, Mitachurl, Samachurl, and Lawachurl. All vary in strength and of their elements."

"Mhmmmmmm…" The Monkey King hummed in thought, finding himself excited as this Hilichurl being sounds a little promising for him and the group. "Well, let's go find them!" With a speed they did not know he possessed, Mori took off.

Cue, three sets of face palm, as he went on a different direction.

-Line Break-

After managing, somehow, to catch Mori, they then resume their journey to find a nearby Hilichurl camp which resides near the city. The journey was not a quiet one however, as Amber began to ask Aether questions about the disappearance of his sister. The blonde, sensing the sincerity of the young Outrider, couldn't help but voice out his curiosity over why she would help him despite him being a stranger.

"I've lost my Grandfather, who disappeared years ago. Although I've set on a path of my own, a part of me wishes still to find him."

With her answer, Aether began to feel a little connected with the young Outrider, due to both searching for the family relative. The Traveller no longer doubt her intention, and even began to take a liking due to her energetic and bubbling personality.

Observing their interactions were Mori and Paimon, both staying at the back to keep watch of their surroundings, although Paimon's reasoning was quite… unusual.

Basically, she said that Mori do not bully her as much as Aether does.

Not too long of a time passed, they have reached towards their destination, and true enough, in front of them as they hid in a bush, were a settlement camp for Hilichurls.

Mori, who is the newest inhabitant of this fine world, observe these creatures with interest. 'Amber wasn't kidding when she said they're humanoid. They act like humans, even with their gibberish language…' He narrowed his eyes as he observe and analyse the creatures further, watching how some would hands and dance around a fire. An unsettling feeling began to grow deep in his being, as he suspected something is wrong, something foul.

Paimon, noticing the uneasy look on his face, voiced her concern. "Mori, are you okay?"

Thanks to her, Mori was broken out of his dark thoughts over the creature. Nodding his head to her, he answered, "Yeah, I'm all good!"

Amber began to huddle them closer, to form a plan better. "Now, I possess a Pyro Vision, and mainly a ranged fighter. What about the two of you?"

"While I do not possess a Vision, I can control the power of Anemo."

"I use my fists, if they're worthy, then I will use my legs. If they survive even that, they will earn the privilege to taste Yeoui." Paimon and Aether shuddered as they remembered the aforementioned staff, which has the ability to grow bigger and longer. Even at a distance, they could feel the sound of impact made by the staff as it land on Dvalin's head.

"Yeoui?" Amber tilted her head questioningly, not familiar with such word, hence butchering the pronunciation.

Mori chuckled at the way she's struggling to pronounce the word. "My bo-staff. I only use it on strong opponents."

"So it's a last resort?"

A wild grin etched on his lips from the wrong answer given by Amber. "I'm not a hunter who go out hunting a rabbit using a cannon (3)." It was at this very moment, that they knew, even Amber who just met him, they realized…

Jin Mori is someone who loves to fight.

Especially strong ones.

Amber merely chuckled nervously, as noted by the trickle of sweat going down her temple as she merely looked at the Monkey King. Taking a moment to regain her composure, she then speak out. "I will assume that Aether is a close range fighter?" The blonde traveller nodded his head to her assumption. "Then as the ranged fighter, I shall provide cover fire for the both of you."

"Sounds like a plan."

Mori didn't respond, not vocally anyway, as he sprinted towards the camp of Hilichurls. The other two were left flatfooted due to the sudden action. Aether who shook himself out of his stupor, immediately followed his battle hungry companion, earning the ire of the provoked Hilichurls.

The tribal creatures let out a gibberish shouts, presumably a command to the other Hilichurls that there are intruders. One by one, they get into a battle stance. Some grabbed a club, while others are using crossbow.

Mori, who is ahead of Aether, noted that some Hilichurls are different in colours. 'So that's what she meant vary in elements…'

Taking note of that, he immediately punched a pouncing Hilichurl to the ground, creating a miniature crater due to the strength of his punch. Mori let out a quiet 'whoops' at his lack of control for his strength. He was wondering over the lack of silence, and found that everyone, including the Hilichurls, were looking at him in shock and awe.

All three of his companion have the same thought, 'Guess he's not the strongest fighter just for name…'

At first, Amber was sceptical when she heard Mori introducing himself as the strongest fighter, for she have no doubt that the Acting Grandmaster for the Knight of Favonius, could best him. But after witnessing the raw strength of Mori, she began to have doubt.

Back to Mori, he taunted the creature, sending his hand to the tribal creatures, before motioning for them to come to him. "Just bring it (4)." Just like moths drawn by a flame, the same could be said for the Hilichurls as they threw themselves to the Monkey King upon looking at the provocation. Unarmed, or armed with wooden club, it did not matter to Jin Mori, he welcome the challenge with open arms. One by one, every adversary is punched away, taking them out of the fight instantly. Even though the creatures are weak, Mori still find himself grinning, enjoying the light warm up.

On the other hand, Aether watched in awe at the imposing sight of Mori dismantling the enemy's number. Getting his mind out of the gutter, he focus back on the fight just in time to avoid a spike coming down for his head. For the aggression, the blonde traveller narrowed his eyes before willing his weapon to appear, and striking down his foe with precision. That swift strike alone is enough to take out the lone enemy. Knowing its not over yet, he checked his back and true to his words, more Hilichurls are coming to his way.

Finding themselves grouped up, Aether struck his hand forward, the other holding his wrist, and slowly, a green orb appear on his palm, swirling with tremendous energy, which warps his enemy closer. Unknown to the creatures, but soon knowing it, the swirling energy of Anemo are as sharp as a blade, sending off strikes after strikes of razor sharp wind attack on the Hilichurls. The tribal creatures let out a painful scream, as their body is shredded by the swirling Anemo.

On the far side, Amber notice that true to Aether's word earlier, he is able to control Anemo without any Vision. Watching the blonde gather a group of Hilichurls with his swirling elemental attack, she remembered one special detail of Anemo.

It can mixed with any other elements, except Geo.

Willing her bow into existence, she took aim the swirling Anemo energy on Aether's hand. Her arrow sizzling with Pyro, heating up before burning right at the tip. Not wanting to injure her companion, the Outrider called out to him, "Aether, stand back!" She saw the blonde's head twitched upon hearing her call, and seeing that, she let loose of the arrow she's pulling. The burning arrow came into contact with the Anemo, creating a windy pyro energy.

Now, the wounds caused by the razor sharp winds are damaged further with searing flame, cueing more enraged screams of pain from the Hilichurls. Aether noticing this, noted the detail of Anemo able to combine with other elements well. Confident he have gather enough energy, he sent out the swirling Pyro to the group, creating a mini explosion as the creature were blown away by said explosion. Looking back to Amber, he sent her a thumb up for her support, which earn the same response from her. However, her visage soon panicked, and he understood why as the moment he looked to the front, another Hilichurl pounced at him with club at the ready to smash his head open. Moving quick, Aether brought his blade up to meet the club, successfully blocking the attack of the Hilichurl. A scream brought his attention to the side, finding another Hilichurl making its way to him.

He grinned, not worrying about it, and his lack of worry proven to be justified, as the Hilichurl was shot straight to the head with a burning arrow courtesy of Amber, who provided cover from distance. Thanking the young Outrider internally, Aether parried the club to the side, taking his adversary's balance and with it, leaving his opponent open. Wasting no time, he took the opening with another precise strike, leaving a long gash on the Hilichurl's chest as blood began to seep out of the wound.

The battle raged on, and surely, the number of the Hilichurls went down. Amber focus on supporting the two front line combatant, before taking out the enemy's crossbow user with a well aimed shot of her bow. Internally patting herself for a good job, she, along with her companions, looked to a larger than normal shelter of the camp, before finding the leader of the camp coming out.

It dwarves over its brethren in size, and they're not the only one, as the creature began to get closer, Aether found himself small in the presence of the leader, himself lacking a foot or two over it.

"Be careful, Aether, Mori!" Amber's voice called out in worry, "That's a Mitachurl!"

In appearance, the most notable appearance about it is its size as spoken earlier. Other than that, its mask is far more ominous, and instead of a club, it is now bringing a large battle axe, which soon erupt in fire on the sharp edge.

"GROOOOOOWGHHH!"

Incoherent roars greeted their ears. The Mitachurl began to take hold of its weapon with both hands, signifying its heavy weight, proving that the size isn't just for show. For a moment, the battle quiet down as they observed the new enemy.

Mori, who have his hands full choking the life out of two Hilichurls by the throat, started to have his lips widened. The Hilichurls nearby him scooted away, as they found themselves unnerved by the sight of it. Using the two Hilichurls on his hands as bullets, he propelled the two right on the direction of the Mitachurl. Screams of terror shrieked out of the two propelled Hilichurls, before rudely smacked away by the Mitachurl with the butt of its battle axe.

Reasserting his dominance, the Mitachurl let out another loud roar, before sprinting to Mori, enraged due to fact its brethren is used as bullets. Reaching into the proper and ideal distance for a battle axe, the large creature brought down its axe on Mori, attempting to cleave the Monkey King in half. However, the creature might as well not move, as to the eyes of Mori, the large creature is moving in a painfully slow motion. With ease, he sidestepped the attack before sending a kick to the creature's knee, bringing it down on the injured joint.

The other two noticed the fact that Mori is now using his legs.

'That makes sense. The Mitachurl is far more durable than its Hilichurl counterpart.' Was in the head of Amber.

Mori did not missed the fact that this creature, almost share the same anatomy as a human, resurfacing his earlier thoughts about this mysterious creature. He narrowed his eyes before burying his thoughts deep inside once again, focusing on the battle head. Getting into a stance, he leapt into action, as he sent a kick, which prompted the Mitachurl to brought its axe up, in an effort to defend itself.

Unknown to it however, it is a feint kick.

Just as his leg was above the guard, Mori brought down his leg in a reverse kick, and along with his leg, is the guard of his opponent, leaving it free for any offense to land on it.

Which it realized, as the eyes behind the mask widened.

In the same moment Mori is bringing his leg down, his right leg is raised up, and not long after that, a loud smash was ringing through the battle, as his leg met the face of the Mitachurl, cracking and breaking its mask open.

"Renewal Taekwondo: Hoe Grab!"

With the face beneath the mask open, a narrowed eyes and two sets of gasps ensued. Behind the mask of the Mitachurl, is not just a humanoid face, but clearly a human one, which twisted to form the current creature, but the origin is still there to be seen.

The force of the kick was so strong, as the creature was blown away, but before it could, Mori get in front of it to finish it once and for all. Getting into another, the Monkey King breathed out another technique.

"Renewal Taekwondo…"

In the eyes of the spectators, it seemed as if Mori teleport behind the Mitachurl, but what happened was that in that moment, he delivered three kicks on different part of its head. Firstly, he kicked the left temple, and as the creature futilely tried to escape, suffered more damage as its brain rattled from another kick to the right temple. To finish the move, Mori moved behind, sending a powerful kick to the back of the head, propelling it to the direction of a large group of Hilichurls.

"Aether, finish them off!" Mori shouted.

Aether, who was still awestruck by the move, nodded his head before gathering more Anemo energy to his blade. Feeling it to be enough, he leapt into the air before sending a gust of whirlwind towards the group. "Go with the wind!"

To add more damage, Amber sent one final arrow of Pyro, igniting the huge whirlwind as it becomes a tornado of inferno, burning the creatures that are caught init. It only took a moment for all Hilichurls to get winded (pun intended) into the whirlwind. To add further insult into the injury, the whirlwind dissipate in an explosion, sending Hilichurls after Hilichurls to different directions.

With the battle seemingly done, Amber regrouped with the others, slightly looking at Mori with awe, not that Aether could blame her. And out of nowhere, Paimon appeared right on top of Mori's head, taking residence on his spiky hair. "Moooriiiii, that was so coooool!"

Mori chuckled at the childlike display, "It's not that cool, Paimon."

"It is!"

While Aether looked on with his usual deadpanned expression, Amber was openly giggling at the back and forth exchange. In the end, Mori gave in, and admitted that is indeed cool, earning a rather boisterous laugh from Paimon.

"Well, now that's done…" Amber called out, clapping her hands to bring further attention to her, "Let's head back to Mondstadt!"

-Line Break-

The walk back to the City of Freedom was an uneventful one, with nothing too crazy happening. It was a quiet journey, as everyone was contemplating what they've witnessed behind the mask of a Hilichurl. Amber wasn't even sure if she could rest without having that image appeared in the back of her mind.

However, the sight of Mondstadt brought any depressing thoughts cleared any traced of it.

They went through the entrance, with Amber nodding to the two guards that they're with her, and not any intruders, criminals, or any of the sort. With Amber being a well known name in the ranks the knights, not just due to her being the only Outrider, but with the amount of missions and/or task completed, they trusted her decision to let the three outlanders to be in the city.

Aether and Paimon were left gawking at the sight of the infrastructures of the city, while Mori wasn't all that impressed, he can appreciate the well built structures. He observes how the civilians act, and true to what he sensed earlier before meeting Amber, the people truly are free, jovial. However, now that he's closer, he can sense a little unease from them.

"Amber."

"Yes, Mori?"

"Did something happen? The civilians seem to be uneased."

The young girl could only sighed, internally wondering how Mori could know something like that. Focusing on him as they walked, she then answered his question. "The people are unease, which is hidden by their jovial expressions, but they are uncomfortable due to Stormterror's attacks."

"Stormterror?" It was not only Mori, but all three.

"A massive dragon, which attack the city every now and then."

When Amber said that, Mori began to muse if it was the same dragon he smacked with Yeoui just hours ago, when he first met Aether and Paimon. Looking up, however, his grin was plastered on his lips, which earn the attention of the three. "You mean like that dragon up there?"

Amber's eyes widened in shock, before looking up and to her horror, Stormterror, or Dvalin, was up there in the sky. "Everyone, please evacuate to safety! Stormterror is attacking again!"

It is not something to do if you want to prevent panic, but calm or not, you cannot dodge from whatever it is charging at the moment.

"Aether, take care of the people here."

"Huh, Mori? Where are you-"

"GROW, YEOUI!" With a simple command from the Monkey King, everyone could watched with a gaping mouth as a large column appeared, growing and growing endlessly with Mori running on top of it to the dragon.

"What the? Where did this col-"

"That's Yeoui, his weapon." Amber could only look at Aether with uncertainty, before recalling that Mori once said only a strong opponent will taste Yeoui. "We've got a job to do. Amber, let's get everyone to safety!"

"Right!" The Outrider nodded her head, before the duo split up, to have a better chance of getting everyone to safety.

Aether looked back, to see Mori still running madly on top of the pillar to engage the dragon. Deep inside, he is relief that with Mori there, any sorts of damage could be prevent before the dragon can do anything.

Up with Mori, the wind blast Dvalin was charging dissipated into nothing, as once again, his face struck by Yeoui. Jumping off Yeoui, he silently commanded it to shrink into a bo staff, spinning it before grinning madly at the dragon.

"Remember me?"

A growl answered his question, and as if to answer the dragon back, Mori swung the staff on the side of Dvalin's face, enlarging Yeoui into an enormous size just in time as it hit the dragon. The blow was so strong that Dvalin let out a painful roar, his eyes brimming with anger as it glare at Mori. The dragon swipe its claw to Mori, who intentionally dodge just as it was about to hit him, irritating the aggressor in the process.

The Monkey King merely motioned his hand to bring it. Due to the taunting, the dragon visibly glow, darkening its blue skin, creating a rather intimidating appearance if its opponent wasn't Mori. Behind the dragon, Mori noticed a golden glimmer streaming not downward, but upwards to the sky, before stopping right behind Dvalin, revealing itself to be Aether, with a glowing set of wings on his back.

"Aether! What about the people?!"

"They're safe!" The Traveller shouted back. "Amber and I got them to safety, before I went up here. And before you ask, someone asked me to!"

Aether noticed the way Mori's eyes narrowed at the mention of 'someone'. If it's someone, and not a specific name, then it's obviously a stranger. Even if it's someone from the rank of the Knights of Favonius, they would outright introduce their name if not their ranks. Noticing himself about to fall if not something is done, Mori called for Geondoowun, manifesting it beneath his feet to stand on, lest he fell, not that it will kill him. The dragon, now noticing another opponent entering the fray, began to show glimpse of intelligence, eyeing the two with great awareness. Moments passed and both sides still eyeing each other, beginning to get irritated, the dragon lashed out to Aether, who dodged in the nick of time.

After dodging, Aether replied back with a counter of his own, sending blasts of Anemo which streamed down on the Dragon's head. The blasts, while doing damage, annoy the Dragon more than injuring it, as it let out a louder roar. Just as Dvalin was about to pounce to the Traveller, he was literally bonked on the head by Mori, his Yeoui enlarged. In pain, the dragon spun wildly, almost injuring Aether if the blonde didn't block the tail with his sword, while Mori dodged it.

Unknown to the Monkey King, that someone Aether mentioned muttered out in worry inside the Traveller's head. 'That man… he is no normal human…'

As if to prove the mysterious voice, in a display of speed which far outrank any he have shown to both parties, appeared right in front of Dvalin before smacking it right on the side of its head, sending it flying across the sky and away from the City of Freedom. As the Dragon landed in a less graceful way, the landing create a mushroom cloud to wish the two could see clearly. Both waited for it to come towards them once more, getting into guard as they saw it is up.

However, to the relief of both men, the dragon had enough and turned away.

"Let's get back to Amber, Mori. I begin to the feel the power that allow me to fly draining away." Confident that he is listening, Aether began to stroll down, letting gravity take him down back to the ground. As he landed successfully on the ground, Amber went to him, expression full of concern for the blonde Traveller. They both looked up to see if Mori is coming down, and come he did, but not in the way they expected.

With widened eyes, they see Mori jumping down off his cloud, before landing and creating a large crater on the ground he landed on.

Paimon willed herself to existence once more, smacking Mori on the head repeatedly, as she began to cry out in worry. "Please don't do that ever again! Paimon thought you would go splat!"

Amber, who was weak from her heart quickening upon witnessing the landing, get on her knees, and hand on her chest to ease her rapidly beating heart.

"Mori, what was that cloud?" Aether asked, his voice full of curiosity. Before Mori could answer the blonde however, they heard a rather distinct sound, turning their heads over to where it came from.

Clap Clap Clap Clap!

"Magnificently done, both of you. That was a spectacular show!" What greeted them was a face of a rather tanned man, dressing in a rather fashionable shirt. His right eye was hidden by an eyepatch, while his left is exposed, showing his sky blue eyes, in comparison to his darker hair of the same colour.

Enter, Kaeya Alberich, Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius.

-End-

1. This will be the only time I describe what someone wear in this story, as you can see, I'm quite bad at describing appearance. Do correct of just exactly what Amber is wearing though. She's one of the best girl.

2. In reference to the guidebook about the rules of addressing strangers as a member of the Knights of Favonius.

3. I butcher the quote, but more or less, it's a reference to when Mihawk taunt Zoro on their first encounter on Baratie.

4. One of The Rock's signature catchphrase, motioning with his hand to bring it.

A/N: As usual, I do hope people enjoy this story so far. I forgot whether we fight Hilichurl after meeting Amber, but oh well, it's an AU story anyway so who cares?

In regards to Mori's powers, he will not use his full powers or the other Yeoui unless his opponent is really strong, or in an emergency to save someone. His Monkey King mode will not be used everytime he fight, and not to undermine the power of Genshin universe, but Mori in his base form is enough to take out an Archon on 1vs1. While Genshin have the power to reshape an island with a wind, or split is with lightning, Mori have endured worse, even having a planet thrown at him.

This is all for the attempt not to make him overpower and stroll through the enemies he will encounter in Teyvat.

Either of these three might happen, as long as I'm inspired and not burnt out from work:

The update of the long awaited Midoriya's King Crimson.

God of Sobu High.

The reaction story I plan to create.

Either way, I bid you all a very nice day/evening.

Silver III Jhin, out!
