Shinichi Kudo walked towards the darkness with a vengeance. The vampire hunter had finally tracked his prey to an abandoned castle; many miles from the humble medieval village that requested his services.

Time seemed to stand still as the hunter plunged further into the depths of the castle. The Crumbling fortress was near silent save for the sound of his footsteps on the stone floor, his only companion was the flickering light of his lamp and the distant water drops.

It seemed no living soul had inhabited the castle for some time. He was positive the beast lurked here.

His last challenge would be the looming stairs that led to deepest pit of the castle. The perfect place for a sun-fearing creature to trap its prey, he clutched his wooden stake as he made his way down.

His footsteps, however light, no doubt alerting the monster of his creature beneath the castle could not be dealt with lightly. Shinichi would have to act quickly if he wanted this problem deal with.

Finally he spotted a wooden door, noticeably in better condition that the rest of the decaying stronghold. From the space underneath he could spot a soft light emanating.

Despite being underground, the hunter felt a chill breeze pass his body. A silent taunt from the beast in the room before him.

He is here.

He uttered a silent prayer as he grabbed his stake; giving himself one last moment of reprieve before he would face the monster, the creature that seemed only to exist in legend but has terrorizing the countryside in the last few weeks.

The Lord of vampires: Kaito.

The door swung open and Shinichi found himself face to face with the vampire. The room was bare with the exception of the torches on the wall and the single throne-like chair in the middle. The vampire sat undaunted by the sudden intrusion and lounged smugly while staring down the hunter.

Shinichi's predictions, as always, were right. He was expected.

"Your terror ends here Kaito! I will send you back from whence you came" Shinichi proclaimed.

Kaito slowly stood from his chair.

"Your tricks won't work on me hunter. I'm sorry but this is your dying day"

Before Shinichi could even blink he was pinned to the wall. His stake knocked onto the floor during the struggle. He tried to the vampire off as Kaito hunched over his neck; his fangs extended and ready to pierce.

"You were a fool to enter my domain alone. I shall savor your essence." Kaito said as his cold breath sent shivers down Shinichi's spine.

Kaito's fangs had just grazed his skin when a familiar stench wafted into his nose. He hissed and jumped back as if the pungent odor knocked him back. He coughed and gagged as the smell lingered in his nose.

"W-what? What is this?! Don't tell me you…" Kaito coughed as he tried to get clean air back into his lungs.

Shinichi stood up and smirked. "That's right Kaito. You may think you're invincible, but I know your weakness."

From his trench-coat Shinichi pulled out a fresh halibut and threw it at Kaito.

"EEEEEYAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Kaito screamed as he dodged the squirming fish. He burst through the walls and made trails along the country side as he ran way.

Ok im tired the end
