Ruby arrived in a room she shared with three other girls. One had white hair and light blue eyes, another had black hair and amber eyes with cat ears on her head, and the third had blonde hair and lilac eyes. These three girls were Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long respectively.
"What tripped the sensor, Ruby?" Weiss asked.
"Another Mandalorian did. He had a little baby with him." Ruby said.
"I wasn't sure if others survived the Purge." Blake said. "Are they alright?"
"Thankfully, yes, they are."
"Any problems?" Yang asked.
"A lone Beowolf. I took care of it, though."
The three nodded. "What about the baby? What did it look like?" Weiss asked.
"Like the Jedi Yoda, only much younger."
Her roommates were shocked.
Ruby nodded. "Coco was the only one who was reluctant to let them stay. And given her history with the Jedi, it makes sense."
The four nodded.
"We all know she won't try anything, though. Not without killing that Mandalorian." Yang said.
"Plus, it's still a baby." Blake said. "She wouldn't cross that line, even for a vendetta."
"So this baby's safe?" Weiss said.
"Yes." Ruby said. "For now, at least."
Meanwhile in the room Coco shared with Yatsuhashi and their roommates, Velvet Scarlatina, a girl who had rabbit ears on her head, and Fox Alistair, a young man who was blind, Coco was fuming.
"A Jedi?! Here?!" Coco shouted.
"Coco, please. You know it isn't worth it." Velvet reasoned.
"Excuse me for wanting to be mad, Velvet!" Coco snapped.
"Velvet's right." Fox said.
"Besides, no one knows if it was really a Jedi that did it." Yatsuhashi added.
Coco glared at him. "He had two lightsabers! One green, one blue! No Jedi had a red lightsaber!"
"Even if you wanted to do it, that Mandalorian won't let you get within ten feet of that baby, with or without Gianduja." Velvet told her.
"A grudge isn't worth you losing your life." Yatsuhashi said.
Coco sighed and forced herself to calm down. "Fine!" She said then picked up a bottle of alcohol and took a big swig of it. "I'll just get drunk off my fucking ass since you guys seem determined to make sure I drown in the shit!"
"We DON'T want that, Coco!" Velvet snapped and all eyes turned to her to see her glare at Coco and snatch the bottle from her. "We just want you to find peace without getting yourself killed. That's not what your parents would want for you."
Coco turned her head to face away from the girl.
Jaune looked at his roommates, two girls and another guy. One of the girls had orange hair while the other girl had red hair. The other guy had black hair with a magenta streak in it. They were Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, and Lie Ren respectively.
"Perhaps we should follow in this Mandalorian's footsteps." The redhead spoke.
"Pyrrha's right. If he and his clan weren't afraid to reveal themselves, we shouldn't be either." The orange haired girl said.
"Nora, that decision is for Ruby, Jaune, Coco, and Sun to make." The black-haired guy said.
"Thank you, Ren. I'll bring it up the next time the four of us have a meeting." Jaune promised.
The three nodded and he nodded back.
Sun looked at his friends, Sage, Scarlet David, and Neptune Vasilias, his monkey tail holding up a cup of tea as he sipped it.
"Hard to believe others survived." Neptune said.
"And one is with a baby, no less." Scarlet said.
"Stranger things happen in the galaxy all the time, Scarlet. You and Neptune know that as well as any of us." Sage said.
"They'll be here for a few days to rest." Sun said. "They may be on the run from something."
"Brothers be with them, then." Neptune said.
All Mandalorians and the Child soon went to sleep, as it got dark outside. In the morning, Coco was out in the courtyard, training in hand to hand combat while also using her minigun as well. Her mind was still filled with rage and she was trying to release that anger. All the while, her mind was playing a traumatic memory she had.
Coco was hiding in the living room closet at her parents' request. Sounds of blaster fire could be heard outside of the house before the door was kicked open. Through the blinds, Coco saw two lightsabers, one blue and the other green, strike down her parents. Despite the horrific scene, the smaller girl forced herself to not scream. She then heard cackling and coughing as the killer left the house. Waiting a few minutes, she slowly opened the door and crawled to her parents corpses.
Blaster fire continued outside until a Mandalorian entered the house and carried her away. "Don't worry. You'll never have to feel alone again." She assured the ten year old girl.
Coco panted heavily as she'd rained a lot of bullets on a pillar and it came close to collapsing. She changed her gun back into a purse and sat down on the cobblestone path and curled up, crying. She soon heard cooing noises and lifted her head a little bit to see the Child beside her.
Mando walked to her. "He's not being a problem, is he?"
"...No." She replied.
The Child reached out to her and she reluctantly picked him up.
Watching the scene a little ways away were Ruby, Jaune, and Sun.
"Seems like she's on the way to making peace with what happened." Jaune said.
"Let's just hope it lasts." Sun said.
"And that she continues down this path." Ruby said.
A little ways away, they all were being watched. Five people were shown to have Mandalorian armor. One was colored crimson and gold, another was colored white and pale green, a third was colored grey and black, a fourth was colored white, brown, and pink, and a fifth was colored black and red.
