A.N. Hey readers. Blue Tagg here with the twenty-second chapter. Last time the Officers were in a real situation. How will they prevail?

This is honestly one of the most words in a chapter. That's a new record.

Also, Zootopia+ is out now.

Anyway, enjoy this chapter.

The turtles were asked to not intervene in the raid against Dennis Tasmin. They were currently in the lair doing their thing. Leo was meditating, Donnie was typing on his laptop to find out more about the Kraang, Mikey was setting up the TV to watch another episode of, "The Adventures of the Great King", and Raph was hitting the practice dummy, and he was hitting very hard.

"We should be out there!" Raph said as he continued hitting the dummy.

"Raph, we're working with official law enforcement now," Leo explained to him while getting out of his meditative position. "We need to show them co-operation. Even letting them handle their stuff."

"In case you've forgotten, they're after an arms dealer that's using Kraang technology," Raph pointed out.

"While that is true," Donnie said as he closed his laptop. "Benny has agreed to show me the tech they found in that lair once they're done."

"Look Raph. For now, let's leave this to the authorities on this one," Leo told Raph, who just sighed and kept hitting the dummy.

"Come on guys, let's watch another episode of 'The Adventures of the Great King,'" Mikey declared as he put the VHS in the DVR. The others gathered around to watch the episode.

In this episode, the Lion King, King Leon, and his group, Mage Stag Brone, Warrior Hippo Mistress Amala, Cross-Bow Archer Coll, and Squire Squirrel Jay, were all in a cave surrounded by unconscious mammals.

"Good work everyone, it's now a clear shot to the next town," King Leon complimented his comrades.

"Yes, even though, one of us, decided to take this route that led us to this ambush," Coll said while facing Jay.

"How was I supposed to know that ambush was waiting for us," Jay defended.

"You weren't to know," Amala reassured the squirrel, then faced Coll. "Anyone of us could've fallen into that trap…"

"All right, let's not point fingers," King Leon declared. "It happened, it's done, let's move on."

But soon they heard footsteps. They turned to see a tigress wearing a silver dress and gold headpiece on her head and wearing a green jewelled pendant. She had a deranged look on her face as some green energy was produced from her paws, the same green as her pendant.

"Lady Diane," King Leon said with venom.

Oh no!" Coll panicked. "It's the evil tigress who was once your advisor, turned into an evil witch that's taken over our Kingdom…!"

King Leon then slapped Coll to his senses.

"Yes, I know who that is," King Leon told Coll. He then turned to Diane. "What're you doing here, Witch?"

"Isn't it obvious, Leon," Diane said as she waved her paws. "I'm here to stop you from claiming my kingdom."

"Your kingdom? YOUR KINGDOM!?" King Leon exclaimed as he and his group got ready to fight. "You took the Kingdom by force and enslaved its citizens! Well, you're not going to be in control for very long."

"Man, that tigress is creepy," Mikey pointed out.

"I think their best option is to make a run for it," Donnie theorised.

"That seems like the best option. What do you think Raph?" Leo asked his brother. But got no response. "Raph?"

Leo looked around to find Raph, but he wasn't around.

"Did you guys see where Raph went?" Leo asked Donnie and Mikey.

"No, we haven't," Donnie replied, with Mikey agreeing.

"So where…?" Leo was saying, but then he heard the sound of an engine.

The three brothers ran towards the railway track that was next to the lair entrance. They looked to see Raph mounting a motorcycle, or as Donnie calls it, the Stealth-Bike. They watched as Raph rode off towards the exit and to the city.

"Raph!" Leo called out to him, but his effort was in vain. This left Leo frustrated as he knew exactly where Raph was going.

"He's heading towards the factory to help take down Tasmin," Donnie theorised.

"Come on guys, let's stop him before he gets himself into more trouble," Leo declared. "And by himself, I mean all of us."

The trio made their way towards the Shellraiser and drove after their rebellious brother.

Raph was riding towards his destination. He was looking at a map that was on his T-Phone, which was guiding him.

"Thanks again for the direction," Raph said into the phone. Then a text appeared on the screen.

"You're welcome," The text said, followed by an emoji of a red panda giving him a thumbs up.

Raph continued riding until he reached his destination. He dismounted and secretly went inside the building, unaware that his brothers are right behind him.

"Raph!" Leo whispered harshly as he, Donnie and Mikey made their way towards Raph. Leo looked angry at him. "I thought I told you we're not to intervene."

"Well, I just don't like sitting around when there's scum that needs beating down," Raph stated.

"This fight is not ours," Leo reminded him. "Besides, the ZPD probably have already got this handled."

"It got worse," Jemma Reddin's voice spoke, coming from Leo's T-Phone. The turtles were surprised to hear Jemma.

"Jemma? How'd you get this number?" Mikey asked.

"Some smart computer stuff that I don't have time to explain," Jemma answered. "The officers and Agent Werrel are in trouble."

"What happened?" Donnie asked.

"They were ambushed by four individuals," Jemma explained. "All of them covered had-to-toe in black suits and were carrying weapons. Most of the officers are losing badly."

"Where are they now?" Leo said to Jemma.

"They're just 43 yards, straight down the hall," Jemma explained.

"All right turtles, let's go help them out," Leo declared as he ran down the hall.

"So now, we're going to intervene?" Raph rhetorically asked as he, Donnie and Mikey ran after their leader.

The turtles ran towards the end of the hallway. They secretly entered the room to see Chief Bogo and the Officers on the ground, looking all cut and bruised. They saw three figures surrounding them. As Jemma said, they were head to toe in black, and each carrying ninja weapons. They then saw Agent Werrel fighting the fourth figure like them, carrying hooked swords on her back. The figure then spin-kicked Werrel onto the ground with the other officers. The figure then got one of her swords and held it high.

"This is where it ends for you," the figure, known as Nestko said as she held up her sword.

But as she tried to slam it down, Leo managed to block it with his sword. Leo then pushed his sword up and pushed Nestko back.

"Not today," Leo declared as he pushed her back.

Nestko then charged at Leo with her hooked swords. Leo dodged one slash and blocked another. She then tried to hit him with the handle blade, but Leo evaded it, separating them. Nestko then attached the hooks and swung at Leo, but Leo rolled underneath, dodging it.

Raph was fighting the one with the axe. The figure kept swinging its axe at Raph, who kept blocking and dodging. The figure then swung their axe down and Raph blocked it with his sai.

"You're skilled, I'll give you that," Raph's opponent said in a filtered male voice.

"Oh, then let me show you how skilled I am!" Raph exclaimed as he used his sai to disarm him of his axe, and then kicked him away. When the figure got back up, Raph noticed on the area where he kicked him, was glowing purple colour. The figure got back up and got into a fighting stance. Raph then put his sai away and was ready to fight hand-to-hand.

Donnie was fighting the figure that was using the spear. They kept whacking their sticks into each other, till the figure tried to stab the smart turtle with the blade of their spear but Donnie dodged it and whacked it away. Donnie then hit them with the end of his staff, pushing them back into a wall. They instantly got back up, which made Donnie instantly realise something.

"Wow, the suit must have some sort of shock absorption technology. I'll have to find a way to beat it," Donnie theorised. He then released a blade from his staff and then charged at his opponent.

Mikey then faced his opponent, only to realise he was very short, about they can reach Mikey's belt. Mikey then laughed.

"Hahaha, look how little you are," Mikey insulted his opponent. Only for his opponent to jump onto him and whack the turtle with their tonfa sticks.

"Okay, you're a mean little guy," Mikey declared as Mikey attacked.

Mikey charged at his opponent as he swung his nunchucks at them. But his opponent blocked it with their tonfa sticks. Mikey then managed to knock the figure away from him. But the figure got up.

"That should be enough," they said in a filtered male voice. His suit then glowed a light purple all over.

He then ran at Mikey, who side-flipped to avoid his opponent. The figure missed Mikey and ended up punching the wall. That punch created a small hole in the wall, through a concrete wall.

"Whoa, you're a strong little guy," Mikey said in amazement.

The turtles each kept fighting their opponents until they regrouped in front of the Officers and Werrel. The three figures regrouped with Nestko.

"You turtles are well trained," Nestko complimented. "It's clear Subprime constantly undermines your abilities."

That got the Turtle's attention.

"You're working with the Kraang?!" Leo said in surprise. Then he remembered something the Kraang Subprime said the other night. "So, you're the Kraang's new partner."

"Yes, we've agreed to help each other in our goals," Nestko admitted.

"What goal is that? To get your butts whooped!?" Raph rhetorically asked, ready to beat up his opponents.

Just then, the wall from the side was destroyed, leaving a hole and a cloud of dust.

"It's more complex than that, young turtle," a deep voice said for everyone in the room to hear.

"Master!" Nestko said in surprise.

"Master!?" The turtles and Agent Werrel responded in surprise.

Out from the dust came a figure, decked out in silver armour with a Kabuto helmet that has a silver faceplate and black eyes. They also had a symbol of three horns on their belt, the same as Nestko and the other three.

The turtles gasped with horror as they saw the figure they recognised.

"Holy chalupa," Mikey gasped.

"It can't be," Donnie said.

"Shredder!" Leo exclaimed with anger. Nestko seemed to take offence to that.

"You dare address the Master with such…" Nestko berated them, but her Master held up his arm to silence her.

"That's enough," the Master told her, before facing the turtles. "I've heard much about you turtles from Kraang Subprime, and it seems he doesn't give you much credit than you deserve."

The turtles were complex about how this Shredder was acting differently from the one they knew before.

"Guys, I don't think that's Oroku Saki," Donnie suggested.

"Well, whoever he is, he's DEAD!" Raph exclaimed as he charged.

"Raph, wait…!" Leo tried to stop him, but too late.

Raph charged at the bladed armour, but the Shredder launched a single blade from his gauntlet, blocked Raph, and then kicked Raph away.

"I take it back, you're pitiful," Shredder said disapprovingly. Nestko and the other three were ready to attack, but Shredder held up his hand, stopping them. "No, I'll handle them myself."

"Take him down!" Leo said as he and his brothers attacked.

Mikey attacked from above, but Shredder caught him and threw him away. Donnie then tried to whack him, but Shredder grabbed his staff and whacked him with the tip, before throwing it back at the turtle. Leo then tried to slice Shredder, but Shredder blocked with the blades coming from his gauntlets.

"You may be powerful, but this isn't the first time we faced someone like you," Leo said to his opponent.

"I believe that, as you kept calling me Shredder," the armoured master said. "But it does sound like a fitting name, I'll gladly use it."

Shredder then pushed Leo away as the turtle brothers regrouped. Shredder then unleashed a few more blades from his gauntlets. Leo noticed something to the right, and he then threw a shuriken directly at a bunch of barrels being held by a rope. The shuriken cut the rope, which caused barrels to fall onto Shredder, with Nestko and the other three dodging them.

"Now's our chance, retreat!" Leo ordered. The turtles gathered the Officers and Werrel and Mikey threw down a smoke bomb. Once the smoke cleared, the turtles and officers were gone.

Nestko and the three recovered after dodging the barrels. But soon noticed a pile of barrels where their master previously stood.

"Master!" Nestko said in worry as she and the others ran to dig him out. But before they could, the Shredder popped up from the top and jumped down, much to his subordinate's relief.

Shredder looked around to see his opponents gone. One would think that would make him angry, but instead, the Shredder chuckled.

"(Laugh), Well played my young opponent," Shredder complimented.

"Master, we need to go after them…" Nestko was saying, but Shredder stopped her.

"No, let them go for now," Shredder ordered his troops. "I trust Mr Tasmin is in our custody now."

"Yes, Master. Our troops extracted him while we were fighting the Werrel and the Officers," Nestko explained. "But all of his goons were captured."

"His goons won't be able to tell them anything useful," Shredder pointed out. He then turned to his henchmen. "Good work today, my friends. But clearly, the war has only just begun. They'll either join us or fall. But they won't stand in our way of creating our better world."

"Yes, Master," Nestko and the others responded to their master.

"That name the turtles called me was fitting," Shredder said. He then noticed a hovering spy drone. He then released a single blade from his gauntlet. "From now on, I am…. The Shredder."

Shredder then launched the blade from his gauntlet and it smashed the drone watching them.

A.N. And that was the twenty-second chapter. So, there's a Zootopian Shredder. The turtles weren't expecting that.

Shredder's armour is based on the Shredder armour in the 2014 film. And the symbol is based on the Foot Clan symbol from the 2003 series.

Next chapter, the officers recover and the turtles begin to tell them more of their father's story.

Till next time.
