Location: Vacuo - Kenyte City
Time: 1745
Meanwhile, Russel is on the bed, with a desk fan blowing towards him due to this Vacuo heat. Suddenly, his laptop beeps, which caused him to get up and check it, as he encrypted once again.
'Good news. Preliminary blood tests show significant gamma reduction.' Mr. Blue replied.
Russel responded, 'Will it cure me?'
Then for a moment, 'Yes. But ... I need more DATA.' He replied.
Russel sighed, "Oh, come on..." He muttered.
'Exposure levels. Gamma concentration. Cell saturation.' Mr. Blue listed out.
'Impossible. Data is not here.' Russel typed down.
'Where is it?' Mr. Blue asked.
Russel thinks about this, he knows exactly where the data is. He stares at the picture of the woman from his memories, he can only type one word... 'Home.' He replied, then closes his laptop.
Later, the sun is nearly down on the city, and as night comes, an Atlas military vehicle strolls on the small road. Inside, are men along with General Maxine on supervision.
Then in the city section, men with tactical stealth gear came up, with tranq guns at ready. While the small dog barks at them as they move up to Russel's building.
Inside, Russel is sleeping on the bed with his dog beside him, then the dog barking from the outside went silent. His dog hears this and perks up, Russel opens his eyes also, something ain't right...
Outside, one of the men has to tranq the dog, Rusty leads his men with a tracker as they check their surroundings, it beeps louder when they reached Russel's door.
Maxine sees this, and begins his command, "Camera." He ordered.
A soldier with a tracker pushes a wire with a camera in its tip underneath Russel's door. Then the General sees someone on the bed, and it is confirmed. Just then Russel's dog sees the camera and bites it.
This irritated the General, "Get rid of the damn dog." He ordered.
The soldier managed to retrieve their camera. Then they begin putting charges around the door. As they take cover waiting to detonate...
"Take him." He demanded.
Then the charges blow, Rusty and his men enter the room, the dog barks at the intruders. They immediately fire tranquilizer darts at Russel's bed, Rusty comes up and pulls out the sheets only to find on the bed fake hair and a pillow.
"Target's on the move." Rusty informed the General as he shot down the dog who continues to bark.
Then near the window, is a rope tightened leading out the window, Russel in his outside clothes is climbing down, then until he reached an open window, Martina is there who sees him and screamed.
"What are you doing here!?" She yelled.
"W-wait!" Russel quickly shushed, as he tries to calm her down.
"Where is he?!" General Maxine yelled.
Rusty goes to take the look from the window. Meanwhile, in Martina's room, Russel is there staying quiet as she complied. "He's on the ground!" Then Rusty goes away and runs off with his men following him.
Outside, Martina takes a peek out the door, seeing Rusty's men rush down, as the coast is clear. Russel goes out, and before he goes, "Thank you." He thanked her, then he runs from the opposite direction as she watches him leave.
Russel is looking around before he puts his hood on to conceal his identity and walks off.
Inside the street, Russel is walking amongst the busy crowd, tho at a fast pace. But then he soon sees the same military party. Rusty sees him, and he tries to walk away to avoid suspicion, but he already notices him.
"Go, go, go!" Rusty commanded his men as he chases Russel.
In the military vehicle, the General also sees this, "Go! Go!" He yelled as the vehicle moves out. "Do not lose him!" He called his men.
Russel is making a run for his life. He goes through the tight and crowded streets and alleyways, Rusty's men followed him from going through a bunch of areas, such as the basketball court, upstairs, and downstairs.
As he runs through the alleyway, Rusty takes aim but he changed direction. The men chased him, but Rusty take another path.
Then Russel makes a run through a bunch of clothes hanging, and going through them, he lost his hat. One Soldier is chasing him through, but just as he reached him... HE accidentally runs off the edge, as he falls from a balcony into an alleyway.
Russel continues to run on top of the balconies and then on the rooftops, another soldier chased him through. Just as the running continues, the soldier tries to fire a dart which misses as Russel jumps down into the alleyway.
More soldiers are coming down, and Rusty is here as well. Russel slows down nearly knocking some crates, as he is exhausted. His watch beeps louder as he tries to catch his breath.
Rusty is nearby, gun ready to shoot. Rusty meanwhile, checks his watch, seeing its heart rate has risen, he takes his slow breaths from his lessons.
Rusty arrives and sees him near the crates. Just then Russel sees his heart rate has lowered, he heads off, then sees Rusty aiming his gun, he runs into the crowd and Rusty had no choice but to chase him again.
He makes a run into another alleyway, Rusty fires his gun, but the dart misses and hits the wall when Russel made a quick turn. Then he's on the road till he sees an Atlas Military Vehicle. The General shows himself leaving the two to stare at each other, till Russel makes a run.
"Get around behind him!" General Maxine yelled.
Russel continues to run through another alleyway, as the General is in the vehicle.
"Target moving past mobile unit 0-9-0." The female military member informed.
More men continue to expand around the area. As Russel continues the chase, he then accidentally bumped into someone, someone familiar...
"You got to be kidding me..." Russel muttered as it was the same guy from the factory, along with his group of friends who tries to harass Martina.
"Hello, bastard!" The main leader cussed as he attempts to punch. But Russel dodges a punch from the leader and throws him over his shoulder. He grabs the knee of one of the leader's goons and pulls it. Another tries to punch him, but he manages to avoid it as well.
He runs away as these guys get up, "Get him!"The leader yelled as they chase him down, he has two groups chasing him. Then Russel with no choice decided to reach the very factory he works in.
The group arrived nearby, and they look around to find him. Then the leader turns to see the factory, he reached the door which was locked and chained. But he takes a look and smiles, knowing where it is.
Then nearby on the rooftops, Rusty is here seeing the factory, "Where is he?" The General asked from the comms.
"I found him. Inside the factory." Rusty informed as he also sees the group enters.
Inside the factory, Russel runs into the empty locker room, he checks his watch which is beeping rapidly almost to 200 bpm. He takes more slow deep breathing, till he hears the group.
"Where are you bastard?" The leader sang out loud. Russel continues to run away through the factory. The group is now in and searching for him, then Rusty's men have also entered inside with the lead man himself.
Russel goes upstairs, heads to the door, and opens it only to see the leader with his goons. He tries to go back but is stopped by another big goon.
"Hello, bastard." The leader smirked. Then one of the goons grabbed Russel from behind and the leader takes his backpack.
"Please! No! Not the computer!" Russel pleaded. He attempted a below attack from behind which slightly knocked him back. Then he attempts to claim his backpack, but the leader throws it to one of his goons which he then throws away.
Then an extra goon joined another as they pinned him to the elevator cage sparks occurred when he is pinned.
"Not so tough without your fancy moves huh?" The leader mocked him.
"Please. If I'm angry... It'll be very bad." Russel begged. "You need to let me go." Then the soldiers saw them as they began the setup of their night vision goggles and aimed their guns.
"Well, guess what?" The leader smiled, "I'm also angry as well." Just then Russel sees his watching beeping louder and also the men from behind aiming their guns.
"You don't understand! Something really bad is about to happen here!" Russelbegged again to let him go, but they weren't buying it.
"Yeah... Very bad." The leader replied.
Then the soldier fired... But hits one of the goons. Before any of them could react, the leader punches Russel in the stomach, his watch beeping the most it has ever had. As he falls to the floor as the leader laughs, the BPM has now hit tp... 200...
Then Russel's eyes go green as the soldiers see this for the first time. The watch is broken off as Russel is struggling.
"Anyone else seeing this?" One of the soldiers informed as Rusty and the General watched.
The leader turns around and tries to give him a kick, but then something grabbed him, and he groans in pain. That groan became a scream to which his goons watched him get pulled into the shadows...
The goons are shocked along with Rusty and the General... Just then the leader is thrown so far, crashing through a room and then into a wall, killing him. The goons looked back to the shadow as a huge figure towered over them.
They began to panic, as they run away, to which the figure lets out a monstrous roar. The roar is heard from audio in the vehicle as General and everyone inside hear it. Rusty and his men head down to find this thing.
The two goons running for their lives. But one from behind got grabbed, and his shoe is dropped on the ground. The last one runs past Rusty and his men as they stand their ground with their guns at ready.
Then one of the men, with nigh vision sees a huge figure lurking in the factory areas. "We've got a bogey of some kind. Please advise." He asked.
"That is the target! Use every tranq you've got! Do it now!" The General ordered.
The men head forward, constantly firing their tranq darts at the figure. However, the darts bounced off its skin... The figure turns around, its feet crushing those darts.
They along with Rusty is shocked, then the figure now the monster began to charge at them. The monster is pushing those large tanks as if were cardboard boxes.
"Go live! Go live! Go live!" One of the soldiers yelled.
"Get out of the way!" The second one shouted.
"Move!" Just as the soldier witnessed. The monster then grabs one of them by the head. Inside the vehicle, the General watches it from their perspective as the cam went static.
"No!" General Maxine yelled.
Rusty reloads his gun as he takes aim at the monster who is grabbing one of his men. But the ones who are grabbed began constantly firing to the point Rusty takes cover which bottles are shot down. He along with other men decides to arrive down there.
Then a soldier is thrown to a panel which reveals to be the conveyor belt controls. As the alarms blare, the bottles are transported and toppled over at the end.
The men arrived and continue firing their guns at the monster who walks off. They chased it down, continuing firing as the monster roared. Rusty goes up the stairs and runs faster while the other soldiers gain chase.
Just then, one of the soldiers throws a grenade and the monster stopped once the grenade lands in front of it. The monster grunts, confused about what it is, till it exploded. Rusty aims his gun as the explosion is cleared out, and the General inside is silent. The men are standing, tho cautious.
"Leave me alone..." The monster mutters... Then these three remaining men quickly reload their guns. But the two in front witnessed a large cylinder-shaped container coming straight to them, the three attempted to run away, but the two got crushed.
The third one runs away, with the large container coming closer... Rusty from above sees the floor being destroyed by the figure as he attempts to shoot. Then the third soldier made a jump to the left but he got caught and is now crushed.
The container crashed into another spraying the soda inside. Rusty takes cover as he continues his pursuit on an upper walkway, which right below is the figure walking away.
He fires at the monster, which slightly recoiled from the shots. As Rusty attempts to reload, the monster turns around revealing its face. A green muscular human with a face of anger, unlike anything he saw.
Rusty halts his firing, can't believe he is seeing this. Just then the monster grabs and throws a forklift truck at him which he avoided as the machine below them exploded, breaking the walkway to which Rusty hangs on the edge.
Then the monster grabs another plant component and throws it at a wall, and escapes the facility with a roar.
"No! No!" General Maxine yells in rage. As the monster lets out a roar from outside. It has escaped.
Still, at night, General Maxine along with the female Specialist, and Rusty are regrouped in Russel's apartment.
"I knew something was different before I got the shot off. He had it on him when he bolted." Rusty explained as the two looked at him. Then Rusty grabs a newspaper of that woman to the General, "Is that a girlfriend? She helps him maybe?" He asked.
"She is no longer a factor. We closed that door to him a long time ago. He's alone. He wants to be alone. But see if he's been talking to anybody." General Maxine replied as he checks the room, seeing the rope, that he used to escape.
"Forgive me, sir?" Rusty speaks up, "Doesn't anybody want to talk about what went down in there? Cause ... he didn't lose us. And he was not alone, sir. We had him, and then something hit us. Something ... Big hit us! It threw a forklift truck like it was a softball! It was the most powerful thing I've ever seen." Rusty explained what happened. "It killed my men!"
"Well, it's gone." General Maxine replied, tho with not much concern for Rusty's anger.
Rusty gritted his teeth, "Well, if Barrett knows what it is, I'm gonna track him down, I'm gonna put my foot on his goddamn throat, and I'm gonna-"
"That was Barrett." General Maxine stated. "It was Barrett."
Rusty is confused by this, "Sir... You have to explain this." He said.
"No, I don't. You've done a good job. Pack up and get our men on a plane. We're going home." General Maxine ordered as he goes to the stairs Rusty is still confused by this. Then the General is on the balcony and watches afar the view.
