Naruto woke up in a bed, standing over him, a tan skinned woman with a pink shirt with a maroon border on it. She wore a navy colored skirt that went down to her feet. A warm smile came across her face. "Good morning, Naruto right?" asked the woman.
The blond sat up as he tensed from the pain. "Hey, take it easy. Your sensei explained what happened. Please, lay down for a bit." the woman said.
Naruto looked at her with a strange look. "I don't understand." Naruto said.
The woman looked at him with a confused expression. "I'm sorry? What don't you understand?" asked the lady.
"Why aren't you afraid of me? Why didn't you attack and kill me? Don't you hate me?" Naruto asked.
The woman laughed. "Why would I hate you? It's because of you that my father returned home alive. In fact, I'm beyond greatful for you." the woman said with a smile.
Entering the room, Kakashi appeared with his one eyed smile. "Good morning, Naruto. How are you feeling? This is Tsunami, Tazuna's daughter." Kakashi said but was met with killing intent.
"Please leave, Kakashi. I wish to be alone." Naruto said in an emotionless tone. This confused both adults and thus, they both left the room. "Wait, , you can stay." Naruto said. Tsunami looked at the masked ninja who gave an approving nod as he left.
"Yes, Naruto?" asked the woman.
"I don't want you to leave." Naruto muttered.
"Is everything alright? Do you want to talk about it?" asked Tsunami as she grabbed Naruto's hand softly and frowned at seeing him flinch.
"You're... You're..." Naruto started to say as tears began to fall. "You're the first person to show me genuine kindness and compassion." Naruto admitted.
This shocked the woman. "That's good, come on, get it out."Tsunami said.
"In my village, I'm hated by everyone. I can see their hatred, including my team. They all hate me. The see the hatred clear as day from them all." Naruto said.
"You see the hatred? I'm sorry, now I'm the one not understanding." Tsunami said.
"It was a gift from the fox that turned into a curse. It's because of him that I know the truth, the truth behind everything." Naruto said.
Tsunami gave the boy a soft hug. "It's going to be alright. I've got to go make lunch. I'll bring your lunch up when it's done, okay?" Tsunami asked. Naruto nodded.
"Well, Gaki. How're you feeling?" asked Kyuubi.
"Go away. I don't want to talk, not with you, not with anyone." Naruto said.
"Fine, but you can't avoid me forever." Kyuubi said as he fell into a deep sleep.
Kitchen
Kakashi, Sasuke, Sakura, Tazuna, Inari, and Tsunami were sitting around the table quietly. The woman kept staring at the three Konoha ninja as she tried to figure out why Naruto said what he said. "Excuse, Kakashi?" asked Tsunami.
The copycat ninja looked up from his book. "Yes, ?" asked the man in a polite tone.
"Can you tell me anything about Naruto?" she asked.
"Why do you want to know about him? He's nothing but a demon." Sasuke muttered.
"Yeah, he killed nearly all of our village twelve years ago." Sakura chimed in.
"I'm sorry, but isn't Naruto only twelve?" asked Tsunami in confusion.
"Yeah, that's because the demon reincarnated himself into the form of Naruto. If you saw what we saw, then you'd agree with us." Sakura continued on.
"That's enough, Sasuke, Sakura. It seems you have enough energy to talk down on your teammate. Go back to tree climbing." Kakashi ordered in a tone that startled them. "I apologize, Tsunami." Kakashi said with a sad look.
"It's alright. Can you please tell me about him? He was telling me about seeing the hatred from everyone. Like it was a gift that ended up in a curse, or something along those lines." Tsunami said.
Kakashi sighed. "Naruto is the Jinchuriki of Kyuubi. Twelve years ago, the monsterous fox appeared out of nowhere. It killed many and destroyed plenty. Thanks to our fourth hokage, the fox was sealed away. However, it seems that Naruto has communicated with it. You see, our village leader was set on turning Naruto into the ultimate weapon. Many of our shinobi have tried to kill him. Many for revenge, some just following orders, and some with the fear that Kyuubi would strike again." Kakashi explained.
"Kakashi, that's horrible. How could he remain in a village like that?" Tsunami asked.
"Isn't it obvious? Who would take him in? The boy is taboo in his village." Tazuna said.
Kakashi sighed once more. "That's right. To most of the people in Konoha, Naruto is hated by everyone. It's amazing that he's gone this long. But it seems that he finally snapped." Kakashi said sadly.
"Kakashi, can Naruto stay here?" asked Tsunami. This caught both men and Inari off guard.
"I'm sorry, but he's a shinobi of Konoha. Not to mention, he's my student." Kakashi said.
"You know, I agree with you, Tsunami. Kakashi, what are your feelings on the boy?" asked Tazuna.
"My sensei, the fourth hokage, and Naruto's father, the man responsible for giving him this burden. For a long time, I resented Naruto. I hated his entire existence. It wasn't until recently I learned the truth about everything. While when I first met him, and even up until now, I feared that Kyuubi would take over. But after seeing him in such a distressed state, I realized that he isn't a monster, but a boy who is broken. It is my duty as his sensei, and his father's student, to be there and make up for all the wrong doing that I've done." Kakashi said.
"Well then, that settles it. We're moving to Konoha." Tazuna said. "Forget this damn country and the bridge." Tazuna said.
"Please don't do that, ." said Naruto as he entered through the kitchen. "Don't throw it all away for me." Naruto requested.
"Ridiculous. Boy, I saw you, I saw what you did. If that's a result from the lack of family, then I'll give you a family. You risked your life and fought something that was set to kill us all. How could we not repay you?" asked Tazuna.
Naruto smiled softly. "Let's finish the bridge, then we can all go home. Kakashi." Naruto said.
The masked man looked at his student. "Yeah, Naruto?" he asked cautiously. Being surprised, Naruto gave him a hug. "I don't hate you. I know you don't hate me, not anymore. Your aura of hatred has vanished. I would like you to be my unofficial father." Naruto said.
Kakashi's eye went wide. "Naruto..." he said.
After thefive of them finished, Naruto agreed to help watch over Gato but was told he had to limit his training. Naruto shrugged it off and did as he was told. It seemed that as Naruto spent more time with the family, Tazuna was like a grandfather, a much better one than the hokage, Inari was like a young brother who lovedf Naruto to death, Tsunami was the mother figure he always desired.
Kakashi became more involved with Naruto and started talking with him about things more and even showed him a few advanced tricks to help better his control. Kakashi and Tsunami seemed to also be getting closer. It was everything Naruto ever wanted, a family that loved and accepted him for him.
"Alright, guys. Tomorrow, the bridge will be finished. Tazuna gave his men today off and so, we'll do some light training and take it easy." Kakashi said. "I'm going to begin teaching you elemental ninjutsu. While most jonin teach their students after a year, you three have talent. So I'm going to bed the rules. Here are three pieces of chakra paper. Each of you, take one and channel your chakra." Kakashi said.
Sakura began focusing her chakra and saw that she had an affinity for Water. Sasuke revealed to have Lightning and Fire. When Naruto did it, nothing happened. In that moment, it vanished without a trace of any element. "Hmm, I've never seen that happen before. Here, try it again." Kakashi said.
Naruto nodded but as before, it did it again. "Naruto, do it one more time. I'll scan it with my sharingan. This could possibly be a bloodline you have." Kakashi said as he raised his head band. Naruto nodded and even Kakashi's sharingan failed to read it.
"Hmph, so much for a bloodline." Sasuke said.
Naruto ignored him and wouldn't even look in his direction. "Kakashi sensei, what does this mena?" Naruto asked.
"Well, we have someone in the village that will be able to help you with this. It's new to me. So, while I help Sasuke and Sakura, is there anything in particular that you wanted me to help you with?" Kakashi asked.
Naruto shook his head. "No, Kurama actually wants to help me with controlling her power. She explained that as a Jinchuriki, being able to fight with her chakra and not losing control will be important." Naruto pointed out.
"Are you really talking with that thing? I guess a demon such as yourself can only be friends with a demon." Sasuke shot out.
"Yeah, that's right. Kakashi sensei, can we get a new teammate? Someone normal?" Sakura requested.
Never had Kakashi felt a desire to punch a student of his, but he felt today would be the day. "No, Sakura. Naruto, you're excused." Kakashi said in a stern tone.
Mind Scape
"Kurama! I'm here!" Naruto called out.
"Hello, Naruto." said the voice of a beautiful red haired woman with a genuine smile.
"So, we were testing my affinities and the paper kept vanishing. Do you know why that would be?" asked the blond.
"Yes. You see, many Jinchuriki are often enhanced. Your original nature is wind and fire, it seems that with my affinities being the same, it enhanced them. The paper burned but was cut into pieces so small, that it looked like it vanished. However, we're going to work on calming your mind and increasing your senses." Kurama said.
Naruto nodded as both he and Kurama began the training.
Land of Waves Bridge
Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, and Tazuna arrived at the bridge. Shockingly, many of the builders were killed before their very eyes. "Hello, Kakashi, Kyuubi-brat." said the voice of Zabuza mommochi.
"Zabuza, didn't you learn?" asked Naruto. Nobody failed to see Zabuza flinch.
"I didn't come here to fight. In fact, none of these men are dead, just knocked out. I've come with a proposition for you." Zabuza said.
"What is it?" Kakashi asked as he walked forward.
"Kirigakure is currently dealing with its civil war. I've come to request you and Kyuubi." Zabuza said but was cut off.
"His name is Naruto." Kakashi said sharply.
"Right, I've come to request for you and Naruto to assist us in this war. I don't care for the village, however, a close friend of mine does. If you two can provide us assistance, Myself, and my student and surrogate daughter, Haku, we'll join Konoha and become loyal shinobi." Zabuza said.
"That's quite the interesting proposition you made, especially for someone whose head I will soon hang up." said the voice of Gato.
"So, it looks like the midget is here." Zabuza muttered.
"Haha, funny. You won't be laughing after this. I want to meet the brat that damaged you up so bad." Gato said as he scanned the area. "Come on, where is the dmeon of Konoha?" asked Gato.
"It's me. What do you want?" Naruto asked.
"I've come to make you an offer. Help me exterminate Tazuna and the others. I'll reward you big time. You won't even need a damn village." Gato said with a smirk.
Naruto raised an eyebrow. "What the hell makes you think I want that? You see, I'm not like you or most ninja, Gato. I'm a shinobi who is loyal to my village. Even after all the harm I've received. I'd never betray anyone who leaves their life in my hand." Naruto said.
"Oh, really? Tell me, how would you feel if that whore and brat's life was in your hands? You see, I find that with the proper motivation, I can make anyone work for me." Gato said as he showed Tsunami and Inari tied up. "Now, instead of payment, what about for their lives?" asked Gato.
Naruto growled. "Gato, let them go. They have nothing to do with this." Naruto shouted.
"They have everything to do with this. Unless you help me, I'll kill the kid and make this cutie into my personal pleasure girl." Gato said but quickly started choking on his own spit from the killing intent from Kakashi.
"Gato, you have chance, one chance to let them go. If you refuse, I will kill you." Kakashi said with so much venom, even Naruto was shocked.
"Let my daughter and grandson go!" Tazuna shouted as he charged. In that moment, a few of the thugs managed to kill Tazuna.
"Grandpa!" shouted Inari.
"Daddy!" Tsunami shouted.
Naruto watched the man he considered to be a grandfather died. His fist were clenched as blood was dripping from how hard his grip was. "Gato, stop this." Naruto said.
"Fine, make a choice. The boy you consider a brother, or the woman you consider a mother. Haha!" Gato shouted as the thugs had them both by the hair with a kunai to their neck.
"Don't do it, Gato. You're messing with the wrong kid." Zabuza warned as he glared at the man.
"Why are you doing this?" Sakura cried out.
"I'm trying to show your friend what happens when you choose the path of a hero. You never know some sadistic prick will come along with a choice. Now choose! Or I'll kill them both! You have until the count of five. One!" Gato said.
For some reason or another, Naruto's body wasn't moving. His anger, rage, and fear of losing the two people he had as family had paralyzed him. "And five! End them, now!" Gato shouted and in that moment, the lifeless body of Inari and Tsunami hit the ground.
"Inari... Tsunami... I'm sorry..." Kakashi muttered.
Naruto started growling and breathing heavy. "I... Won't... Let you... Get... Away with this..." Naruto declared as he was growling much deeper a burst of crimson chakra formed around him. Gato continued laughing with his thugs as they saw the blond's reaction.
A massive thunderstorm started to form around Naruto as his growling continued. Lightning as striking around. Nobody knew what was going on but Kakashi feared that Gato might have just unleashed the demon that brought chaos and destruction to Konoha many years ago.
"Inari... Tsunami... Tazuna..." Naruto thought as his killing intent was leaking. The crimson chakra was starting to turn black as his rage continued on. Gato began feeling the pressure along with the thugs as they each took a step back.
"I... Won't let you... Get away... With this..." Naruto continued growling as the black aura grew darker and formed around his body. The bridge began cracking as debris was flying in the air. Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Zabuza, and Haku fell back due to how close they were to the blond. Naruto's crimson eyes were changing. Instead of the crimson colored eyes with slights, they were going through a massive change.
Naruto's eyes, balck with six red triangles with the number six in each of them, colored red, with six trapazoid-like shapes inside connecting to the puiple. The trapazoid shapes each had the number six in them, and the center of Naruto's eye took a similar appear to Kakashi's sharingan. Instead of three tomo, he had the number six where each tomo would appear. In an instant, Naruto held his arm out and the body of Gato, his thugs, Tazuna, Inari, and Tsunami's lifeless body vanished, along with most of the bridge.
"What the hell just happened?" Zabuza shouted as the lightning continued striking around.
"Wind Release - Massive Cyclone Barrier!" Haku shouted as the five of them were protected from the lightning Naruto was causing.
As quickly as things tensed up, they settled down. Naruto remained still as he looked at the group. "Zabuza, let's go." Naruto said as he started walking in the direction.
"Naruto, where are you going?" Kakashi asked.
Naruto stopped where he was at. "Putting an end to Kiri's war. Tell the hokage. I'll be back when I'm done." Naruto said as he continued walking. Zabuza nodded at Haku before turning to Kakashi.
"From what I saw, I think he'll be fine. I'll send Haku with you as form of trust. We will return to the village when everything is finished." Zabuza said as he followed after the blond.
"Naruto, what happened to you? Is this some kind of bloodline? Or is it Kyuubi?" Kakashi silently asked.
