Even so, as he made the sacrifice that would ensure the safety of his friends, an observer many forgot to have even existed intervenes, and sends the dying soul to a land he and his other half had forsaken eons ago, in the hopes of rectifying their errors.

2. Sorry for the delay

Hi :)

I'm sorry.

This second chapter has been the biggest thorn in my side since trying to make the 17th chapter of my chainsaw man fanfic.

At first it was going to be a chapter on Jaune's childhood, and how he has some of Ryuji's trauma and whatnot, but fuck, I searched literally everywhere for anything on his childhood online and came up empty.

So I retcon'd that idea and decided to just start at the beacon initiation with a slightly more competent Jaune. He'll have some skill in fighting, thanks to Ryuji, but he's only got so much available. Thing's will change soon for him though.

I have no idea when I'll have the second chapter done, but when I do, I'll delete this page and replace it with the real chapter.

This isn't like a two minds one body thing. It's just Jaune getting Ryuji's memories briefly. That'll change later on.
