"Get back here now Olivia!"

"Fuck you!"

Olivia picks up her pace as she runs out of the building and onto the street. She looks around and remembers she has no idea where she is. She'd never been to this part of town before tonight when Trevor had dragged her along to a fundraiser of a major client at the firm.

She'd tried to get out of it at first, so sick of playing the pretty wife on his arm. The wives on his friends arms were getting younger at every event and she was just waiting for the day he took up with some dumb intern like everyone else seemed to be.

It's what started their row tonight in fact. She'd see the way he was talking to one of the new interns in the corner and when his hand had reached out to smooth a stray hair from her face Olivia had seen red. When he'd finally made his way back to her she'd asked him bluntly if he was sleeping with her and instead of saying no he'd turned it back on her, called her crazy and delusional and that's when she'd stormed out before she threw a drink in his face and really embarrassed them both.

"Olivia, get back here now!" She hears from behind her and she spins to see Trevor following her down the steps to the building.

"Or what? I don't know how you're embarrassed of me walking out when you've been drooling over some twenty something all night!"

"She's just some intern Olivia don't be stupid!"

He reaches out to grab her hand but she pulls it out of his reach.

"And now I'm stupid am I? Rich coming from the man who can't even give me a straight answer."

"I'm not dignifying your hysteria with an answer that's why."

His calm tone makes her blood run cold. She wants to walk over there and smack her clutch bag around his head but again she decides to walk off and he follows her again.

"Come on Olivia let's get in the car and go home if you're going to be like this I'd rather people didn't see you performing."

Her fists clench as she picks up the pace walking fast away from him in her feels. He could easily catch up to her, for every two strides she takes it would only take him one but he lingers behind her purposely.

"Olivia I'm getting in the next cab that comes along. Are you coming?"

"No."

"So you're just going to walk around the streets alone at night?"

Olivia stops and spins on her heels and he can see the anger in her eyes.

"I'm surprised you even care. Didn't care much for me when she was around."

"You're my wife Olivia of course I care about you but I'm not chasing you around the streets like a child so either get in the cab with me or make your own way home."

"Screw you."

She turns and starts to walk off again and this time she doesn't hear his footprints behind her. Instead she sees the flashing as a car approaches and a second later a cab pulls up behind her.

"Are you getting in?" He tries again but she doesn't look at him as she continues to storm down the street. "Olivia, last chance."

"Screw you."

"Fine. If that's how you want to be."

Trevor rolls the window up and tells the cab driver to go on and when Olivia sees it drive past her she stops in shock. She couldn't believe he'd actually gone and left her no matter how many times she had told him to. He was the one in the wrong to begin with. She groans in frustration as she carries on walking along the street and soon she realises how cold she is and her arms wrap around her. She really should get a cab herself but the road was deathly quiet.

She knows she'd gone too far when she turns into the next street and sees the crowd of men outside the bar. She stops and looks at them deciding if she should turn around and head back to the venue, get someone there to call her a cab but the men notice her right away and within seconds two of them are heading her way.

"Well, well. What's a woman like you doing in a place like this?" One of them jokes looking over the expensive gown she has on for the occasion. The event being work related Trevor had made it clear she needed to look the part and now she regrets the white wrap dress with a necklace worth more than a few months wages for these men in front of her.

"Just leaving." She tries to say as she pushes past them but the other man wraps an arm around her shoulder.

"What's the rush? Why not let us show you a good time?"

His speech is slurred and she grimaces as he pushes his face into her. She tries again to pull away from him but he pulls her back again and she starts to panic.

"Get off me!" She tried but he didn't listen.

She feels a burning at the back of her eyes as the man drags her backwards and the other follows them before suddenly he's pushes sideways and hit the ground and she sees a man stood in front of her that looks murderous.

"What the fuck do you two think you're doing?" The man holding Olivia's shoulders let her go and held his hands up warding off the man that had appeared out of nowhere but it didn't seem good enough for him. "I swear I just heard this lady tell you to get off her?"

Olivia moves quickly out of the way pushing herself against the building as the bearded man steps forward.

"We were just joking around."

The man sneers angrily and turns his head to Olivia.

"Were you finding these men funny?"

She shakes her head, unable to talk and instead of saying anything else he punches the man that had been holding her again and again as he lays on the floor trying to protect himself. His friend who was still sitting on the floor having not stood up after his fall looks horrified as his friends face bloodies before them.

She wonders if she should tell him to stop but she's mesmerised by the way he's so easily laying punches on his man's face as if it's nothing to him.

Eventually he stops and moves to the other man who sounds like he's crying and grabs him by the collar of his shirt and pulls him up to his face.

"I don't wanna see either of you around here again, you understand me?" The man nods repeatedly and the man grins evilly. "And if I ever find out you've touched a woman without her consent again god help you." The man continues to nod until he's punched in the face again and his body slums to the floor.

Her saviour stands up and walks towards her where she's holding her heart with one hand as her other hand holds her up against the wall.

"Eddie." He offers, holding out his hand. She looks down to the bloody mess and his eyes follow and he laughs, wiping his hand on his shirt before offering again.

"Olivia." She says finally taking it. His grip was warm and firm yet his hand feels soft against hers and she feels a sudden loss as he pulls it away.

"I'm sorry about those idiots."

She nods, finally looking at him properly and notices just how insanely blue his eyes were. The face previously full of anger now looks at her softly and she finds herself relaxing in the presence of this stranger.

"Thank you."

"Anytime."

She smiles slightly and pushes off the wall taking a small step forward.

"I hope I never have to worry about it again."

"Are you lost?"

She laugh and shrugs.

"Kinda. My husband went home without me."

The anger she'd seen earlier on this man's face flashed across it again.

"He left you? Out here on your own?"

"I did tell him to.." She tries to defend him but after what has just happened to her she knows she shouldn't.

"Let me take you home. Unlike this husband of yours I don't leave women alone to walk the streets."

"No it's fine honestly. I was just going to get a cab. When one comes along that is."

She realises then she hasn't seen a cab since Trevor's and wonders how long she'll be waiting for one.

"It wasn't a question Olivia. I'm taking you."

She knows she should be more wary of strangers, especially ones with a violent streak but there was something about Eddie that she trusted instantly.

"Okay." She answers softly and he nods in the direction of his parked car the way she had just come. She gives the two men still laying on the floor one last look before she lets Eddie lead her away. When he places his hand on her lower back she doesn't stop him, in fact she walks a little slower.

———-

He must drive her the long way home. She doesn't remember it taking her and Trevor this long to get here earlier this evening but she doesn't complain.

His smile has her just as intoxicated as his eyes had earlier and even with the terrible events of the night she was laughing with him within a few moments of the journey starting.

When he finally pulls up outside her apartment building she feels a sinking feeling in her stomach. She doesn't know what it was about this man but she felt connected to him in the short time they'd spent together. She looks over at him once more and she thinks of how different he is to her husband. His bald head and bushy goatee are a far cry from Trevor's slicked back locks. His tight Henley shows off all the muscles he'd used to beat up the men who had tried to hurt her. His hands that were still covered in their blood, something that should disgust her stirs something in her she'd not felt for her husband in many years.

"Thank you. For everything."

He smiles at her again and in the back of her mind a voice shouts at her to lean over and touch his face, taste his lips but she digs her nails into her palm instead.

"Like I said." He places a bloodied hand on her thigh and they both look down to it. She feels his touch burn through the dress and her pussy betrays her as she feels her arousal flood her underwear begging for his fingers. "Any time."

His voice brings her eyes back to his to find he's already watching her and she knows he can see the internal battle she's having as she opens her mouth and closes it again.

"I better get inside."

"Yeah. To that husband that's so full of worry for you." He says sarcastically and her eyes drop away from him embarrassed.

It wasn't until Olivia opens the door that Eddie drops his hand from Olivia's thigh and onto her seat as she steps out of the car. She turns once more to smile at him and he nods as she closes the door and walks into her building.

Eddie watches her walk away feeling something he'd never felt before and he didn't know what it was but when she's inside the building and she turns her head once again to see if he was still there he knows she feels it too.

———-

Olivia enters her apartment to silence. She isn't even sure if Trevor is home until she enters the bedroom and finds him fast asleep in their bed.

Not even a worry where I was? She asks him silently with a look of disgust on her face.

Shaking her head she tries to ignore how little her husband seems to care for her and walks into the closet to remove her dress where she's faced with the mess she looks.

Her face and once white dress is splattered by the blood of one of her attackers. She hadn't realised it had got onto her, so frozen in fear as the attack happened but now she runs her fingers over the dried blood on her face and feels butterflies in her stomach. The adrenaline high comes back to her as she thinks back to where the blood has come from and the way Eddie's bare hands had caused so much damage.

Her eyes slip closed as she relives the way he had protected her so fiercely. It was two against one and still he had come to protect her, a complete stranger and then he hadn't left her to find her own way home unlike the man asleep in her bed.

She strips off her clothes and notices her nipples were so hard they were coming through her bra. The air wasn't cold, it was a hot night in July but her body was telling a different story with the goosebumps also covering her arms.

The shower didn't calm her down anymore. As her hands rubbed soap into her body she wondered what his large hands would feel like on her. She wondered if he'd manage to grab her full breast as she soaps them up. She bites on her lip as she wonders what his mouth would feel like on them and she has to knock the shower off before she lets her hands trail between her legs where she was aching to be touched.

She climbs into bed with still damp hair and looks over at her husband sleeping so peacefully and feels guilty. She prays she never sees this man again because she prides herself on being a faithful woman even if her husband can't do the same. But her dreams are full of the man from earlier that night, her saviour. This time he takes her right there in the street, still covered in the blood of the men he'd attacked but she doesn't care as his bloodied hand wraps around her neck and squeezes. In fact she quite likes it.

———

Eddie's night doesn't go much calmer. He returns home and his apartment seems suddenly empty. His brain was still stuck on the woman. She had looked at him so terrified and yet aroused and he wonders what she would have done if he had leaned down and kissed her or if he had fucked her in the alley down the side of the building.

He imagines a woman like her likes a bit of 'rough'. She'd told him on the drive home of her aspiring politician husband and he'd felt inferior. He had done well for himself, he had a nice apartment but it wasn't through the same means as her. He imagines she'd only be into white collar crime for the long run.

He pours himself a whiskey before bed, sitting out on his balcony looking over the flashing lights of the city and wonders what had happened when she had entered her apartment. He hopes she ripped that idiot husband to shreds over leaving her like that.

He tossed and turned through the night worrying about her. It's 3am when he lays staring at the ceiling and decides he's going to check on her tomorrow. He just needs to know she's ok.

——

Eddie wonders how long he can wait outside her apartment without it being creepy. It turns out the time is much longer than what he knew was acceptable but he couldn't move, he needed to check she was okay and finally he saw her walking out of the building.

He pauses still sitting in his car lost in the vision before him. Her brown hair blows in the summer breeze. She's dressed all in white again with outrageously large shades covering her eyes.

Jumping out of his car he runs across the road to her before she can turn the corner and reaches out a hand to grab her. Only when she jumps back does he realise how much he may have just triggered her and he curses himself.

"Shit, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to scare you!"

She rips off her sunglasses wondering if she's seeing things as he stands before her.

"What the hell are you doing here?" She hisses, taking a step closer to him. He looked rather out of place with his wife beater and unbuttoned shirt and she looked around worried who could be around watching her speak to this strange looking man for her part of town.

"I just wanted to check on you. I was worried about you."

Inside her heart melts but she keeps her face defensive as she replies to him.

"I'm fine, there is no need to stalk me! What if Trevor was to walk out now?"

Eddie scoffs and leans his lower arm against her building and she hates how comfortable he is.

"I don't think he'd be that concerned given how he left you last night."

"I don't know why you think you know anything based on a 30 second conversation about my marriage but I assure you that you do not!"

Eddie's grin only widens as she talks and she grows more embarrassed knowing he is seeing right through the lie of her perfect marriage. It wasn't something she was used to, most people believed the illusion and often told her how envious they were of her having such a perfect husband.

"I know you're not happy."

"You don't know anything!" She reiterated even though she doesn't sound so confident anymore.

"Don't tell me you didn't feel it too Liv." He whispers, leaning in slightly.

Who does he think he is calling her nicknames? Nobody called her that, Trevor found nicknames rather common and had made a big fuss about calling everyone by their full name. Nobody had called her Liv in a long time.

"It's Olivia." She corrects him but he only grins again.

"Tell the truth, Liv."

"There's nothing to tell. I'm thankful for your help but I have nothing more to say to you. Now if that is all."

She puts her sunglasses back on her face and stands for a second giving him one last chance to speak up. He pushes off the wall and takes another step towards her and she can feel the heat radiating off his body.

"You know where to find me. I own the bar."

Eddie winks at her and takes a step backwards and she lets out a deep breath as he moves back again. She watches him cross the road again and climb back into the suv she never would have imagined was his and only when he drives off down the street not giving her another look does she turn on her heels and carry on with her day.

--

It takes five days before she cracks. It was a friday night and she and Trevor had rowed again. He'd only been home an hour when the row had started and it was over something so silly but he had stormed out and as she sat there on their bed alone again she asked herself why.

The next thing she knew she was in her closet looking for something that would help her blend in a little more than she had the last time she was in the area.

She finds an old dress she doesn't even remember buying. It's black and white, looks nearly leopard print and she decides it's definitely the best she was going to find for his bar. She'd never gone inside but she'd seen the way he and those idiots she'd had the misfortune of meeting were dressed and guessed the vibe.

She redoes her hair and make up before she leaves, drawing on her eyeliner much thicker than usual in a way that Trevor always said was trashy. Tonight she didn't give a damn about him or any of his views and as she looked in the mirror she smiled to herself at how much he would hate the way she looked now. Just a normal woman with a nice figure, not the politician's wife who looked like she'd robbed a jewellery store.

The cab ride over is a challenge. Half of her is screaming to go back home before she does something she regrets, before she potentially throws her marriage away but the other half of her reminds her that she's put on the sexiest underwear she owned, shaved and moisturised to within an inch of her life and whether she does it or not tonight she is more than willing to throw her marriage away and the thought of giving into her desires wins out as she clenches her thighs together knowing that soon he will be between them.

The cab driver looks at her strangely when he sees the area she had directed him too. He even turns around and checks she has the right address but she nods and hands him the notes and he shrugs.

She steps out of the cab and even though it's warm she shivers. She doesn't know if it's the nerves of seeing him again or the fear creeping up on her that she might bump into the men from last time but given the state eddie had left them in she tells herself they wouldn't be stupid enough to ignore his demands to stay away.

The bar is crowded as she steps inside. She looks around for a familiar face, the only familiar face but she doesn't see him. He might not even be here yet and here she was stalking him just like he had done to her a few days ago.

She takes a seat at the bar that a man had shuffled up his own chair to give her room to do and before she could place her bag on the bar he was asking what she was drinking.

"I'm good, thanks. I'm meeting a friend." She tells him politely but he leans in again, his eyes falling to the cleavage she'd put on show for another man.

"Let me entertain you while we wait huh?" He arches his brow seductively and she doesn't even try to hide the disgust on her face. Is this what single life was like? Being hit on by sleazy drunk men at bars?

"Honestly I am good."

He sneers at her and kisses his lips turning away from her and she swears she heard him calling her a stuck up bitch but she turns towards the bar and ignores him. All she needs right now is a large drink before she runs out of here.

She practically downs her first drink to take the edge off before she even starts looking for the man in question. It wasn't until the bartender passed her a second glass that she turned in her seat and let her gaze fall around the place.

It's busy there, full of people of all ages and she can tell from the young and barely legal girls hanging off men old enough to be their grandparents that it wasn't the type of place you'd come for a sophisticated night out. She had no idea what Eddie did for a living but the way he had beat those men up while owning this place had her think it was less than legal.

She finds it amusing how she had gone from the lawyer to the criminal. She wonders if her husband knew of this man and vice versa, had her husband ever got this man off? Hopefully he won't be the only one. She thinks to herself as she moves her head to see further down the back of the bar.

Eventually she sees him. He's at a large table, probably the biggest in the place that's over loaded with people including a group of girls in their twenties hanging off his every word, one is even sitting on his lap laughing at his joke and she feels the jealousy rise from her chest and over her face.

She didn't even know this man but she felt she had a claim on him. For all she knew he could be just as married as she is but still she felt like they connected on a deeper level.

Her eyes don't leave him as she drinks her drink. She watches as he laughs and jokes, refilling his glass of whiskey that she knows cost a fortune because she'd bought Trevor a bottle last christmas. He's probably the only person in here that would appreciate a drink like that and she likes that about him she decides that he is so normal yet has expensive tastes.

Eventually he sees her looking and she tries to keep her face neutral as she sees the shock on his.

He'd never thought she'd turn up, never dreamt he could be so lucky yet here she was sitting at the bar, his bar, seemingly on her own and looking over to him. He almost throws the girl from his lap onto the lap of the man sitting next to him and she doesn't seem to mind as it doesn't take her long to wrap her arm around his neck instead.

He knows Olivia is pleased. She's doing a good job of keeping her face neutral as they watch each other but he sees the way she perks up now that he is sitting alone. He tips his drink towards her, offering her a 'cheers' from across the bar and she smiles, tipping hers back before they take a drink at the same time never dropping eye contact.

They look between each other for a few more moments both waiting for the other to make the first move. Eddie doesn't hear a word that anyone is saying around him, all of his senses are hooked on the woman sitting at the bar.

Olivia makes the move first, downing the rest of her drink and placing the empty glass back on the bar she stands up, grabbing her purse and keeping her eyes on him as she walks past him towards the sign she had seen the restrooms.

She goes inside, leaving the door to the single stall restroom open and walks to the mirror placing her purse down on the countertop and taking out her lipstick.

The door opens behind her but she doesn't even acknowledge him until she's finished reapplying her lipstick and he's locked the door behind him.

Their eyes lock in the mirror as he walks over to her but neither of them say a word as his hands grab her hips and pull her ass back to press against his cock that was already semi hard.

Half bent over the large sink in front of her she reaches down to her thighs and starts to pull up her dress and Eddie watches inch by inch as the object of his desire comes into view. He licks his lips when he first sees the lace of her panties spread across her ass.

His hands run across her lower back and pull up the rest of her dress so she's fully exposed to him and he looks back at the mirror to see her watching him, her eyes begging him to take them off so he hooks a finger either side and pulls them down as far as his hands can reach and then he's falling to her knees behind her, spreading her cheeks so he can get between them to push his tongue into her wet heat.

Olivia whimpers. Trevor never went down on her and especially not from this position. She looks into the mirror and sees the quivering mess she's already become just from his tongue pushing into her and running through her folds and she pushes her ass back into his face pushing his mouth closer to her clit until he is sucking on it and she moans loudly slamming her hand on the counter.

"Fuck!" She cries out and he moans into her pussy, flattening his tongue to taste as much of her as possible. Olivia grabs onto the edge of the counter, panting out his name as she tries to open her legs wider but they're still stuck by the underwear she had been wearing wrapped around her ankles. "I need.." she gasps desperately and he pulls back and removes her panties from her legs and shoves them in his back pocket.

"I know what you need Liv." He says in a low voice standing up and spinning her around. He looks over at her standing there before him, still soaked and out of breath for a moment before he kisses her and she moans at the taste of herself on him. She lets him take control, his tongue directing the kiss as he pushes her back and spreads her legs across the counter. "I knew you'd come back."

"Shut up." She whispers, pulling his mouth back to hers and wrapping her legs around his hips. He pushes his cock into her core, grinding himself against her knowing that her arousal was probably coating his jeans and his cock twitches at the thought of going home with the smell of her on him.

Liv moves her hands between them grabbing desperately at the button on his jeans and ripping them open to shove her hand in there and finally touch the cock she'd dreamt of every night this week. She moans at the girth of him, her walls clenching desperately to be around him as he lets his trousers fall to the floor.

Only then does she look between them and remember she's married and he's probably slept with half of the women in this bar. Her eyes flick to him and he can tell what she's thinking but he needs to feel her, truly feel her. He'd never do this normally but he knows she feels the same animalistic connection.

"Do you trust me?"

Olivia nods because she does, with anything. She doesn't understand it but she knows this man wouldn't risk anything that could hurt her and he tells her she's right with a kiss as he steps forwards and brings his tip to her entrance.

"Do it." She begs. She holds his cock steady as he pushes into her and her other hand grips the counter as the first man to enter her for nearly twenty years stretches her pussy. She cries out, her legs closing around his hips tighter as he stretches her and both of their eyes drop to watch as he pulls his cock that's now covered in her arousal out and pushes it back in.

Both of her hands were on the countertop now and his covered them and somehow their fingers became intertwined in a move that was too intimate for practical strangers fucking in a toilet but she didn't stop him, instead she kissed him again and this time it was slower, matching the pace of him sliding himself in and out of her as their bodies adjust to each other.

Elliot lets go first to spread her legs wider but Liv shakes her head and points to the wall. She needs to feel his body pressed up against hers and short of laying on the dirty bathroom floor this was the best option she had. He grabs her around the waist and keeps his cock inside her as he takes a few steps before slamming her into the wall and this time when he kisses her it isn't soft, it's sloppy and desperate and his cock slams into her with determination.

She can't kiss him for long, his cock hitting so deep inside her and the feeling of his body pressing her into the wall was too much for her and she buries his head into her neck as she cries out into his ear.

"Fuck. Fuck." She repeats as her hands grasp aimlessly for something to hold onto. Settling more often than not with digging her nails into any inch of skin of his that she can find. He retaliates by biting on her lips and her neck and she wonders how she will explain away the likely bruising he is making and she doesn't care, Trevor could watch this man screw her brains out at this point and she wouldn't complain because she'd never been fucked like this before.

Trevor and her made love and even that was mediocre. He'd never been wild or spontaneous or possessive enough to want to make her his. When he made it clear she was his property it was never in a way that made her feel good, Eddie on the other hand made her feel wanted and sexy and she knew that as he tried to leave marks it was because he was showing the world how lucky he was.

Eddie's hands were palming her breasts when she remembered her first thought of those hands. It turns out they were the perfect size but it didn't surprise her. His tongue flicked over her nipples just as expertly as it had on her clit. Her nipple free of his mouth wasn't left unattended as his fingers pinched on them just the right amount and she knew he was going to make her cum, the first time something other than a piece of plastic had made her cum for about a year.

"Don't stop, oh fuck right there."

Olivia's eyes slip closed as her head falls back against the wall and Eddie watches in amazement as this beautiful stranger cums right there in front of him. Her nails dig into her back as she holds him close, feeling her nipples rub on his terrible palm tree shirt as she cries out.

Her hands move to the back of his head pulling him down to kiss her the second her body starts to calm.

"Let me feel you Eddie." She whispers against his lips as his hips slam into hers with less and less rhythm as he comes close to the edge. When she looks into his eyes he loses it, they were so dark they looked practically black and full of lust for him and he falls over the edge thinking of how he'd just been given the greatest gift from god.

Olivia buries his face into her neck holding him tight when he's spilled inside her. She closes her eyes and for a moment pictures them in a bed where they can roll over and do this again until the cold tiles on her back bring her back to reality and she is pushing him away.

Eddie pulls back, reaching down to pull up his trousers as she adjusts her dress, pulling her bra back up and her dress back down and he admires how good she looks even after being fucked.

"Can you give me five?" She asks him and he nods, he could use the time to think of what to say to her and so after giving himself the once over he leaves the bathroom and she locks the door behind him again.

He runs quickly to the bar to get them both a drink, suddenly realising how thirsty he was and went back to the bathroom to meet her before she had time to exit.

She hadn't expected to see him there when she opened the door, she had expected him to be back at the table acting like this had never happened but instead he was standing there holding a drink out to her and she looked between the glass and his face as if he was insane.

"What's this?"

"A drink. It's what you were drinking right?"

It was. He was good she'd give him that but she doesn't take the drink and instead shakes her head.

"I can't. I have to go."

She pushes past him and he wants to reach out and grab her but the drinks are in his hand and by the time he's found a table to drop them at she's half way across the bar and he tries not to look desperate chasing her but he knows he is. By the time he catches up to her she's at the door and he tries to grab her but she yanks her arm free.

"I'm going home, leave me alone."

"Liv what the fuck?"

She turns around and all her anger and shame at what she had just done is directed at him.

"My name is Olivia."

"Olivia…" He practically pleads not knowing what he actually wants to say.

"Goodnight Eddie." She tells him before walking out of the bar and he stands there watching her remembering the last time she had been here alone.

She can feel his presence still and knows that even now he's watching out for her and she finds the act of this man who barely knew her tug at her heartstrings once more.

She doesn't look back as she slips into the cab, she worries she might get out and walk back over to him and never leave. Instead she drops her head against the back of the seat and lets her eyes slip closed as she sits uncomfortably for the long ride back as she deals with the fact he had taken her underwear.

Eddie doesn't go back inside the bar, he won't be able to sit there with his friends and pretend like everything is normal as if fucking some woman in the toilets hadn't just shifted his whole world. Instead he goes home and pours himself a large glass of whiskey just like he had the day he had met her and wonders how someone can have such an effect on your life in such a short space of time.

Olivia sits for a long time in the mirror before she gets undressed, spending time looking at the way he'd marked her body and burning the image in her mind because she knows she can't go back, she has a husband and she couldn't break that vow again.

When she eventually slips out of her clothes she puts her pyjamas straight on, deciding that she wanted to keep the feel and the smell of him on her for as long as possible. She slips into her empty bed and reminds herself that one time in twenty years is fine, accidents happen and that as long as that's the end of it nobody has to get hurt.

As she falls asleep she relives her night over, something she knows she'll be doing for the rest of her life. Her perfect night with a practical stranger.
