In the town of Pallet Town in the Kanto Region lived a family, the Ketchums. Before Ash started his adventure, they were or still are a happy family, although no one knows much about the father or grandfather or what happened to them, the mother Delia is very happy to have two kids before the father is gone. The kids' names are Ash Ketchum, the oldest and Kate Ketchum who is the youngest. Ash is older by 2 years and is kind, brave, enthusiastic, passionate and adventurous. Kate is also Kind, passionate and adventurous, but she is also open to a lot of people and Pokémon and forgetful. She forgives a lot. Ash is also 6 years old and Kate is 4 years old. They always do things together like Hide and Seek or Tag. Kate is the best at Hide and Seek, and she always hides somewhere that is hard to find. Ash's dream is to become a Pokémon Master, and Kate's dream is unknown to her. She doesn't know who she wants to be. She is confused about that.
"Katie!" yelled Ash as he ran after Kate.
"!?" Kate looked up at Ash and saw him, running to her.
"Want to play Hide and Seek?" asked Ash. Kate smiled and nodded. "Go hide"
"Okie Ashy" said Kate as she ran when Ash covered his eyes. She looked for a hiding spot and couldn't find one. She saw a forest and she ran to it. She saw a big tree and hid behind it, so Ash won't find her. Kate giggles and waits for Ash to find her. After some minutes, she got bored of hiding behind the tree. She stopped hiding and sat next to the tree. Kate laid down and relaxed, while waiting for Ash to find her. She waited and waited, no Ash at all. Kate started to freak out, wondering if her brother forgot about her. "A-ashy?" she called out, no answer. She was scared, she was 4 years old, she didn't know what to do. She started to cry, rolled into a ball and cried. Kate didn't stop crying until she felt something behind her, "A-ashy?" as she got up and turned around, it wasn't Ash at all, it was a phantump. "W-what are u?"
"Phantump" said the Phantump. "Phan...tump" The Phantump got closer to Kate, flying around her.
"P-Phan...tump?" asked Kate, for a 4 year old, she can speak well. The Phantump didn't stop flying around, as the Phantump kept talking. Kate was still scared, as she started to walk away, a force field stopped her. She was surprised as she tried to get through the force field, no luck.
"Phan!" said the Phantump as it was in front of Kate, Kate stepped backwards and fell down. The Phantump was smiling and flew to Kate, holding her down.
"HEY! THAT'S MY SISTER!" yelled someone, and that person was Ash. Kate turned her head and saw Ash, trying to get free, but the Phantump was holding her down still. Kate was crying again, as she screamed for help. Ash tried to break the force field, no luck for him. He was worried about his sister, unsure how to help her.
"A-Ashy!" cried Kate as she tried to get away from the Phantump. "What do you want!?" the Phantump looked at Kate, it had a look in their eyes, they were sad. Before long, Kate couldn't keep her eyes open and closed them, hearing Ash's voice yelling to her, until nothing. After a while, Kate woke up in her room, Ash and Delia, her mother looked at Kate, with a worried look.
"Sweetie!" said Delia as she hugs Kate, who was in pain somehow.
"Hiss" Kate hissed in pain and looked at her mother, Delia let her go.
"I hope I didn't hurt you that much..." said Delia. Ash looked at Kate and walked to her.
"Katie, are you feeling alright?" asked Ash. Kate nodded.
"Yea Ashy." said Kate.
"That's good...That Phantump...really hurtled you..." said Ash.
"W-what...happened?" asked Kate.
"I ran to our mother and told her what happened when you closed your eyes, Mr. Mime and our mother ran outside and then after some mins, came back with you" said Ash.
"I saved you..." said Delia as she softly hugged Kate, as Kate hugged her back. "I don't know what the Phantump wanted from you...but it doesn't badly hurt you..."
"That's...good..." said Kate. Delia nodded.
"You lay down, get some rest" said Delia as she and Ash walked out of the room, Kate was alone, she couldn't sleep at all, so she got up and started to read, until she did sleep.
