:

you wake up in what seems to be a royal bed, but you can't remember anything about it, nor can you recognize your surroundings, so you decide to focus a bit and try to remember what happened yesterday.

-flashback-

"so now darling, since you're gonna be here for a long time, I'm going to show you around and help you get used to your new life. " MX, the terrifying yet gentle giant extends his hand to you and you take it, starting to just wander off with him and explore the dark surroundings. everything just seems so...uncanny, from the grinning clouds to the one-eyed hills, but those were details you took in earlier when you were more scared. you're still feeling a bit uneasy, but with MX on your side, all of this feels less terrifying, knowing he would protect you if anything happened. the both of you continued to stroll quietly, but that felt a bit too quiet for you, so you shot your shot and tried to break the ice.

"so, MX...did you change the whole scenery by yourself ?" he pauses a moment to look at you, and gently rubs your hand with his thumb. "yes, i did. what do you think about it, dear ? you still seem a bit uneasy. does this look scary to you ?" "oh, no, not really...! w-well, it's a bit hard to get used to...you know, how weird all of this looks...but it's like, the interesting kind of weird ? like, it's interesting how you have enough powers to do all of this..." you silently cursed at yourself for sounding so scared. damnit, how do you mess up this much ? "it's true that i do have a lot of powers. powers that permit me to do stuff like...this. "

as he ends this sentence, he makes a bouquet appear out of nowhere and gives it to you. white lilacs, to be more precise.

"oh gosh, they're so pretty...!" "these are white lilacs, my darling. do you know what they represent ?" "um, because of their color, i'd assume...purity or something ?" "yes, they mean purity and youthful innocence. and although innocence doesn't get you far..." he releases your hand to crouch and gets to your level, and as he does so, he takes a strand of your hair and puts it behind your ear. "you are my innocent and pure flower, and i'll take care of you until the end of time. "

oh, how sweet could he get ? you were so flustered and at a loss of words it took you so many tries to utter an understandable sentence, so you just gave up and tried to hug him, and he hugged you back. and that's when an idea hit him. you were simply enjoying that nice hug only to feel like you were swept off your feet and lifted. when you opened your eyes, you were so high from the ground, so you took a few of your surroundings in to finally notice that MX was carrying you bridal style !

"w...wha-a uh..." once again, you were too flustered to speak or to look at MX, so he took your chin to make you look at him. "you're a real cutie, you know that ?" that was too much for you, you were a stuttering and blushing mess at this point. "tha-thanks...!" ' oh gosh he's too close...and his arms are so strong...'

but something brought you out of your thoughts, a yawn to be exact. and coming from you. "are you tired ? do you want some rest ?" "yeah, so much happened today, and, i'm exhausted, sorry but if you want me to spend some more time with you, i can still stay awak-"

he hushes you and takes you to the castle, still holding you bridal style. when you finally arrive in the castle, he sets you on what seems to be a king-sized bed. "thank you a lot but...don't you need sleep too ? won't you sleep with me ?" "i appreciate the concern, lovely, but i don't need to sleep. plus, you know i love you so much, but we just met and i don't want you to feel uncomfortable. " "i see...well, thank you for everything, and good night, MX." "good night, (name). i love you. "

-end of flashback-

'so that's what happened...' you smile at that sweet memory and decide to get out of bed. 'i'm gonna go and see MX, i wonder what he was up to while i was asleep. huh, how long was i even asleep for...' you hesitantly walk out of the castle and stretch out a bit, and there you see MX, just sitting on the ground.

"ah, i see you're awake ! good morning (name), did you sleep well ?" he motions you to sit next to him, which you do. "i did ! i feel refreshed, did i sleep too much ? weren't you feeling too bored ?" "not really, lovely, in fact, i've been kinda busy, busy preparing something for you, cutie."

as he ends his sentence, he boops your nose which makes you giggle a bit.

"oh, what is it ?" he then points to the sky, so you just take a minute and look at it. it was still as dark and ominous as before, but once you noticed that small difference, it changed everything : there were now stars. you gasped in awe, it was so beautiful ! it all felt more like a starry night rather than an endless dark nightmare.

"so, do you like it ?" "if i like it ? i absolutely love it ! it's wonderful !" you tried to hug him again the best you could, he returned the hug while slowly rubbing your back.

"but no matter how bright these stars may shine, they'll never shine as bright as you, darling." you blushed again at the compliment. 'why is he so damn smooth ! i'm gonna get back to him.'

that's when an idea hit you.

"say, MX, do you mind crouching a bit ?" "sure thing."

he gets down to your level and as he does so, you giggle a bit and get on your tippy-toes to give him a small peck on the cheek.

"teehee, did i surprise you-mph !" you couldn't finish your sentence because you felt a pair of lips against yours. MX was kissing you ! you kissed him back and closed your eyes, not that surprisingly he was a quite good kisser. you kept kissing for a few minutes, blushing and feeling butterflies in your stomach. you then parted away, since you needed air.

"so you wanted to surprise me ? how's that for a surprise then ? unless you wanted to feel more surprised ?~"

still taken aback from the kiss, there you go again, being a blushing and stuttering mess.

"ah, n-no ! that's already a good surprise ! a-and i enjoyed it a lot..." "so does my precious little (name) want more ?~"

before you could even answer, he was already peppering your face with light and gentle kisses. "hey, t-that tickles !"

you couldn't help but giggle until he stopped, leaving a final smooch right on your lips. you caught your breath and happily sighed.

"MX, wanna cuddle ?" "that sounds lovely. " the both of you lay down and start to cuddle, MX gently rubbing your head as you nuzzle into his chest. you smiled even more, thinking about all the good times the two of you will share. "i love you so much, MX. " "and i love you too, my dear (name)."

can u tell this is my first time uploading on this website lol. also as u can tell im pretty much a beginner at writing but I still hope u enjoyed this teehee (this is kinda cringe but whatever bare with me)
