Chapter 2 Memory Part 1
"I can't believe we're going to see them again. Don't you think so, Ash?" Alice asks.
"Yeah... I wonder how it all begin." Ash says as he starts to recall his journey.
During their journey, they pick Pikachu and Eevee as their starter Pokemon from Professor Oak, and then they meet a boy named Red who was causing trouble for Professor Oak and they were forced to help him get the Pokemon back. Since then, the three of them have been traveling together, they've also met Blue, Professor Oak's grandson, and he was quite the opposite of Red.
Ash and Alice's goals are to become the Pokemon Masters. While Ash wants to defeat the Gyms, Elite Four, and the Champion, Alice wants to capture all the Pokemon and become friends with them. On the way, they've also met Team Rocket a lot of times, and they are surprised to learn that most of the Gym Leaders in Kanto are Team Rocket members. Ash challenged Lt. Surge for the third gym badge after he threw Red off the ship, and he did get a badge after defeating him, and he was sent blasting off by Red with his newly evolved Poliwrath.
In Celadon City, they've heard the news from Professor Oak that the Squirtle was stolen, and they met a mysterious girl named Green. She stole Red's badges and thus they were trying to chase after her, after some incidents regarding Team Rocket, Green gave back Red's badges. While Red and Alice are capturing Pokemon in the Safari Zone, Ash challenges Koga, the gym leader of Fuchsia City that had caused them a lot of trouble as a Team Rocket member, and he also got the gym badge from him.
Ash has an uncle named Giovanni, and they've met at Pewter Museum of Science, after solving trouble regarding the Magmar, Red was given the Old Amber by him. And after getting the sixth badge from Blaine, they head back to Pallet Town, only to find that Professor Oak was kidnapped by Team Rocket in Silph Co. So they all head there and while Red and Blue are facing trouble inside, Ash and Alice meet up with both Giovanni and Sabrina in the gym, it was then that Giovanni reveals he's the leader of Team Rocket and he wants Ash to battle Sabrina. Of course, Ash wins and gets the badge, but it doesn't matter since their plan is already in motion. Ash and Alice quickly head to the building and save Red, Blue, and Green while battling against the fused three birds.
Once they're done, they head to Cerulean Cave for Mewtwo, and then they also meet up with Ash's youngest sister Yellow, helping her capture her first Pokemon, a Rattata. And Then they all head to the Viridian City Gym, where Ash fights his uncle for the final badge. After defeating him, Ash was forced to rest at home for days as they watch how Red wins the league on the TV.
Two months later, both Ash and Red receive the letter from the Elite Four as they want to challenge them. Red goes and he disappears with only his Pikachu. Ash, Alice, and Yellow decide to go on a search for him, with Green's instructions, Yellow has to disguise herself as a boy.
They were ambushed by the first Elite Four member Lorelei, Ash decides to issue an official Elite Four challenge and manages to defeat her, earning the first Elite Four medal. They escaped and they find themselves near Celadon City, and they were ambushed by Bruno, the second member of Elite Four. Ash and Alice find that he was controlled, but after defeating him, he disappears with the second Elite Four Medal on the ground.
And while Yellow and the other Gym Leaders are dealing with the Nerd who stole Red's Pikachu, Ash and Alice also find the third Elite Four member, Agatha, and issue the challenge to take the third Elite Four medal. After that, they decide to watch Yellow training with Blue. Back in Vermilion City, they find some Team Rocket grunts, and it is then that Aurora reveals about the corrupted Kanto Elite Four, and she wants Ash to defeat Lance and get the final medal so he can reform the Kanto Elite Four.
Not long after, Lance has come and Ash issues the final challenge against him, earning the final Elite Four medal. However, just because he's the Champion doesn't mean the whole thing is finished. All of them, including Aurora herself, head to Cerise Island to have a final showdown with the Elite Four members. They learn the goal of Lance, which is to destroy humans so Pokemon can live in harmony, and they decide to use the badge device by using the badges stolen by Red and then Giovanni's Earth Badge, they manage to summon Lugia that tries to destroy Kanto. Thanks to Yellow's Pikachu, they change the tides so that Lugia is healing the Cerulean City instead of destroying it. However, all of the Elite Four members disappear without knowing where they are.
"Though I didn't know why, in my dreams, I only need to get aunt Sabrina's badge by making her laugh... and for each of the League, I have to compete with others and I lost in the end..." Ash frowns.
"Yeah, and you also created a region that didn't exist... the Orange Islands. I don't know why you would make that." Alice says. "And then again, I have never been there in your dreams, so I don't know..."
"Right, I released Pidgeot and I caught you as a Chikorita when I was in Johto..." Ash says.
"Since that was the first time using the system, I needed to recover after all." Alice says.
Three months later, Ash and Alice decide to head to Johto because Aurora wants them to pick the new Kanto and Johto Elite Four members, and the Gym Leaders Inauguration Examination. There they met a boy named Gold, they witnessed how another boy named Silver stole a Totodile and they decided to chase after him. Ash feels Silver is familiar, but he doesn't know why.
Of course, Ash is still trying to battle the gyms and get the badges, only this time they aren't going to challenge the Elite Four and the Champion. They meet Falkner and Ash challenges him to a gym battle after Gold helps him capture the Skarmory. In Azalea, Ash challenges Bugsy to the gym battle after the incident where they find Team Rocket grunts being tied up at the Slowpoke Well. They don't know who's done it.
In Ilex Forest, they met the Masked Man, who has been controlling a worker with the Farfetch'd to attack them, after defeating him and he disappears, they also report it to Professor Elm as they are trying to learn who he is. In Goldenrod City, Ash challenges Whitney to a gym battle after the race with Gold, and he gets his third badge. After getting to Ecruteak City, they are surprised to find the Olivine City Gym Leader Jasmine and Silver carrying her. Ash and Alice volunteer to take care of Jasmine and stay at the ward while both Gold and Silver just leave.
After Jasmine wakes up, they exchange information before Jasmine returns to Olivine City, they battled the fourth gym leader Morty for the badge, and they are surprised to learn Morty has the ability to see the future, but he decides to leave because he has things to do. And Jasmine brings Ash and Alice to Olivine City so they caN have a gym battle. After that's done, they go to Cianwood City and they meet up with Chuck and Falkner's father. They are surprised to learn Chuck is Blue's teacher, but they still manage to beat him and get the sixth badge.
And just after that, they meet a girl named Crystal, who is also one of the Pokedex Holders from Professor Oak. They watched her suffer a defeat in capturing Suicune, and since then she couldn't even capture a Pokemon. After some encouragement, they decide to help her by training in Mt. Mortar. Once the training is done, Ash and Alice are called by Aurora as they are going to Magohany City Gym, they were watching Whitney battling the Suicune made of ice, and then Ash has a gym battle with Pryce to get the seventh badge.
When getting to Blackthorn Gym, Clair learns that Ash and his sister are the ones who defeated Lance and she demands where he is, Ash has to show her that he doesn't know where Lance is and they have a gym battle, after winning against her, Clair gives him the final badge, and then Clair decides to bring them to Indigo Plateau so they can watch the tournament between the Kanto and Johto Gym Leaders.
Ash and Alice meet up with Gold and Crystal, and after exchanging information, the whole League was cut off by Carl and Sham, who are actually workers of the Masked Man that they've encountered in Ilex Forest. They realize that the Masked Man is after the GS Ball made by Kurt, and he controlled a lot of Team Rocket members using ice masks. While battling them, Ash and Alice also meet up with Red and Blue, on their way to Ilex Forest, they meet up with Koga and Bruno. Both of them are helping them reach their destination quicker.
They also meet up with the rest of the Pokedex holders, Yellow, Crystal, and Silver, as they fight against Will and Karen, two of the people working for the Masked Man Pryce. After freeing Ho-oh and Lugia's control, they are fighting the Masked Man together, Gold also arrives and they are going to chase after Pryce through the time stream. They need the feathers on Yellow's hat in order to do so. And Yellow decides to reveal that she's a girl to the others, with Ash admitting that Yellow's his sister to those who don't know the truth.
After Gold manages to defeat Pryce, who willingly lets himself fall deeper into the Crack in Time. Ash and Alice manage to find Koga and Bruno, and the four of them find Will and Karen, who have nowhere to go after the defeat of Pryce. Ash suggests they become the new Elite Four members, and with Aurora's approval, all four of them have their criminal records revoked and they become the new Elite Four with Ash continuing to be the Champion.
"And after we found Lance hiding in Whirl Islands, it took us a while to persuade him to become the Johto Champion." Alice says. "And I can't believe you made a bad guy like him into some sort of hero of justice in your dream, something like G-Men?"
"Maybe because he helped us fight Team Rocket." Ash chuckles. "Now that I think about it, I chose Brock and Misty to travel with me in my memory...I wonder why I didn't create someone as nice as Crystal to travel with me?"
"About that, I don't think I have an answer to that. You really seem to like Brock as a companion." Alice says.
"Yeah... maybe because he's the first Gym Leader that I've faced." Ash says. "You know, now that I think about it... are those really my imaginations? Or they were just dreams that I did without my consciousness..."
"I don't know..." Alice shrugs.
And here is a new chapter, in the upcoming five chapters, it will be the memories of the past adventures in the Manga World, and how Ash challenges the Gym Battles and become the Champion in the end. I hope you like this chapter.
