"How do we get to the ttop of the clock tower anyways?" Nezumi asked Cher, who kept his distance ever since they got out from the Furnace's building, "I'm... Not sure actually, never went there myself." Cher explained, Nezumi was a bit confused, "Then how did- There he is." She stopped when she looked at the top of the clock tower, Cher looked as well, and he saw Ovrachar looking down at them, taunting them both.
Nezumi turned to Cher and said "I can see how he's your friend.", Cher wasn't that thrilled about that sly remark, but what could he do about it really. Moving on to the problem at hand though, Nezumi needed to get on top of the tower, the question is how, maybe looking going around asking people would help.
After walking around for looking for someone who might know about it, Nezumi arrived at North Clock Town, a grassy area... With a balloon floating in the middle of it, one the balloon was sketched the mask Ovrachar was wearing and a kid was shooting at it with a peashooter.
Not being a fan of Ovrachar, Nezumi leaped at the balloon and popped it, which nobody there expected since it was way too high up for someone to catch, but the kid looked thrilled by it, so he ran up to Nezumi and exclaimed "You! You're now a part of the Bombers!", before Nezumi could ask what he was talking about, he gave her a notebook that had Bomber's Club written on it and ran off somewhere, she didn't have a reason to throw it away so she just kept it.
"Hey, now that you have that you can keep note of everything that happens during the loops and plan ahead fo the next ones!" Cher suggested, "That's actually a good idea." Nezumi said with genuine surprise, "Why do you sound so surprised?" Cher asked.
Nezumi started looking again, stumbling upon a few things, the first was some guy with a music box standing by a water mill, he went on about having regret for stealing his circus ring leader, which was a dog, when he was done he said he felt a lot better, and gave Nezumi the hat... Nezumi left right after, feeling a little creeped out, but while going away, she noticed a purple haired kid going to check the mailbox, he wore a fox masked and looked like he was in a hurry, she wrote this down in the notebook and quick sketch of his hairstyle just in case.
Next, she went into a building where she heard people discussing something, she didn't want to interrupt, but she did notice someone sitting in the main room, so she went to talk to her, "Excuse me, but what's that commotion about?" Nezumi asked, the woman looked at her and sighed, "My husband is really indecisive, and he's the Mayor! The rumors of the moon falling don't help either." She explained, "Wow..." Nezumi said, "Yeah, and the worst part is that he should be focusing on finding Kafei!" The woman lamented, "Who?" Nezumi asked, "Our son! He was even supposed to get married soon! Besides his bride, he was forward to it the most!" The Woman added, "Well, if I see him I'll make sure to tell you." Nezumi reassured.
Before leaving, the woman gave her a mask resembling her son, it looked an awful lot like the kid that lives by the watermill... Whatever, no time for that, she needed to find an entrance to the Clock Tower.
First loop, Night of the Second Day.
One day left before needing to restart, that was a problem, luckily, during her search she stumbled upon an inn, maybe one of the people staying there knew how to get in the tower, going in, it was empty, she couldn't smell anyone in there, only who she assumed was the owner was there, and they smelled a lot like the mask the mayor's wife gave her, that must be Kafei's bride, "Damnit." Nezumi muttered before turning to get out, "Wait! Do you hear that?" Cher quickly warned her, Nezumi listened closely and for a moment she heard someone let out a suffering moan, "That's not ominous at all..." She commented before going to where the noise was coming from.
It was the bathroom, "Pa-pa-pa-paper please!" Nezumi heard from the toilet, "Huh? was the sound she made when she realized that it was coming from INSIDE the toilet, and with it a hand came out, "Nope!" She exclaimed as she grabbed Cher and quickly hurried out of the inn.
Outside she took a moment to rub her eyes because what the hell? "That's not it either." She heard someone say, turning to where the voice came from, she saw two dancers thinking about something, "It needs to be a dance that will be remembered." One of the two said, "But those are all the dances we know! Maybe someone older would have an idea..." The other one said, "Maybe you can help them in one of the loops?" Cher suggested, Nezumi shrugged and noted it down.
Morning of the Last day.
"Still nothing..." Nezumi muttered, "You didn't ask anyone" Cher pointed out, "Quiet." Nezumi warned, "You two haven't figured out where this rascal is?", The two turned and saw the mask salesman walking over to them, "We know where he is, but we don't know how to get there." Nezumi explained, "Well, where is he?" The salesman asked, "On top of the tower" Cher pointed to said tower, "It opens on the night of the carnival, tonight." He informed, Nezumi growled at the fact they could have just asked this guy, and so they waited.
Night of the Last day.
