"Are you feeling any better Alexis?" Vixen asks as she is looking over Alexis's wounds two weeks later.
"Yes. Thank you Vixen." Alexis says as she smiles at Vixen.
"I can't believe what those wolves did to you." Chase says.
"How can wolves be so cruel?" Rani asks.
"Very carefully. But not all of us are bad. Just some tend to attack and mistreat those who are different from them." Alexis says.
"We can head out when you're ready dear. I've got everyone together." Meteora says as she and Kira walk over.
"Good. I'm gonna go for a walk to stretch my legs then we'll head out once I'm back." Alexis says as she stands up.
"Alexis." Fang says as he looks outside of the den before Alexis looks to where he is looking.
"You!" Alexis says angrily as she sees Shadow.
"Alexis please I only wish to talk." Shadow says as he comes over with two wolves.
"And why exactly should I trust you?" Alexis asks annoyedly.
"You betrayed us." Fang says as he gets in front of Alexis growling.
"And you were told to never come back here." Meteora says.
"Please. I want forgiveness. I know what happened was wrong. Which is why me and my friends Amelia and Totem wish to join your pack." Shadow says.
"It's true. She does have purple eyes." Amelia says in surprise.
"And she's a beauty. No wonder Shadow likes her." Totem says as he smiles at Alexis.
"Hey! Show some respect you two." Shadow says as he growls at Amelia and Totem.
"They won't have to because none of you will be staying." Alexis says.
"Alexis please." Shadow says pleadingly.
"No. Now leave. We have important matters to discuss later and that doesn't include you three." Alexis says.
"And if you won't leave willingly we'll make you." Meteora says as she and Sky growl.
"No aunt Meteora. I won't attack unless forced. Besides Shadow may have betrayed us but he's not the one in my sight line right now." Alexis says annoyedly.
"What do you mean?" Shadow asks curiously.
"I mean leave. You aren't welcome within my pack any longer." Alexis says.
"Alexis I promise I'll do whatever it takes to earn your trust back. No matter how long it takes." Shadow says as Alexis glares at him.
"You can't fix what you've already broken. Now get out." Alexis says sternly as she growls.
"Come on guys." Shadow says as he leaves with Amelia and Totem.
"Stubborn wolf ain't he?" Rain asks.
"Maybe but so am I. I won't let him do us that way again. Anyway I'm headed out. I'll be back soon." Alexis says.
"What? Alexis no. He could attack you if he's nearby." Fang says concernedly.
"I'll be fine Fang. I promise." Alexis says as she smiles reassuringly at Fang.
"Okay. Just Be careful please." Fang says as Alexis nods and runs off.
*Timeskip*
"Ow. Dang it. This scratch is gonna take a while to heal. Oh well. Least I can run with it." Alexis says as she stops running near a rock wall before hearing someone and sniffing the air.
"Shadow I know you're there. Come out." Alexis says as she gives an annoyed look.
"Oh heh. You found me." Shadow says as he comes out of some bushes.
"Where's your followers?" Alexis asks as she sees Shadow is alone.
"At a den site close to here." Shadow says.
"I told you to leave." Alexis says sternly.
"I can't do that." Shadow says as he shakes his head.
"And why not?" Alexis asks angrily as she stops under some rocks on a ledge.
"I just can't. I won't until you trust me again." Shadow says.
"You're wasting your time." Alexis says.
"Look I know I hurt you and I'm truly sorry. Please give me another chance." Shadow says.
"No." Alexis says.
"Alexis you may wanna be careful. That boulder up there doesn't look too stable." Shadow says worriedly as he sees a boulder above where Alexis is standing.
"Leave Shadow. I'm not interested in your games." Alexis says coldly.
"It's not a game. Watch out!" Shadow shouts as he and Alexis see a big boulder beginning to fall.
"Ah!" Alexis shouts in alarm as Shadow tackles her out of the way of the falling boulder and lands on top of her nearby.
"That was close." Shadow says in relief.
"Okay I'm safe you can get off me now." Alexis says as she snarls.
"Heh. Sorry." Shadow says as he gets off Alexs before the two get up.
"Leave Shadow. I don't care where you go or what you do but I don't want to see you." Alexis says.
"You're... You're not letting me back in because of personal feelings. Aren't you?" Shadow asks as Alexis looks away from him.
"You really hurt me. I can't let you do that again. Now leave. Just because I won't attack you doesn't mean my comrades won't." Alexis says as she walks off.
*Timeskip*
"I can't believe that mongrel helped you." Fang says as he and the others are running.
"He doesn't give up does he?" Vixen asks.
"No he doesn't. Look. He's still following us." Eclipsa says as the group sees Shadow, Amelia and Totem are still following.
"Still? Ugh. Can't he take a hint?" Fang asks angrily.
"Alexis?" Ivy asks as Alexis stops running.
"Shadow come here. Now!" Alexis says sternly.
"Uh yes?" Shadow asks as he, Amelia and Totem walk over.
"Alexis what are you doing?" Fang asks.
"You aren't gonna stop no matter what we do are you?" Alexis asks in annoyance.
"Course not beautiful. I thought I made that clear already." Shadow says as he smiles.
"Ugh. Look I don't trust you and frankly don't want you anywhere near me but we can use all the help we can get." Alexis says as she rolls her eyes.
"For what?" Shadow asks.
"For war. Your father started this war and I'm gonna finish it. You may travel with us if you and your followers agree to help us. After you are to leave and never come back. Understand?" Alexis asks sternly as she looks at Shadow and his friends.
"What? Alexis no! Don't let him back in." Fang says as he looks at Alexis.
"Well fixing what I helped cause is better than nothing. Okay. Yeah. And I know some packs nearby who would be more than happy to help out." Shadow says as Alexis looks at him.
"Good. Then let's get ready. This war is about to begin." Alexis says.
