This extremely silly one-shot came about on a whim late last night after I had run out of steam on my NaNo project. For clarity: Edward is my OC who is the son of Jupiter's middle brother, Ian, and Garten, Wilfred, and Whittel's little sister, Lucy. Also, I thought it'd be fun for Jupiter to be a pastor. Just seems like it would fit his character. This is completely and totally unrelated to anything having to do with any previous Modern Aus I've done. This is just me having fun.

"Why're you hanging upside down?" Smalls looked up from his book to see his older brother, Evan, who, from his perspective, was the one upside down. Smalls had somehow ended up in a position on the youth room beanbag chair that, apparently, looked like he was hanging upside down.
"Because I want to." He replied, returning to his book. Evan shrugged and went off to play ping-pong with Asher.

"Smalls, why are you upside down?" Smalls looked up fifteen minutes later to see their youth pastor, Edward, sighing and staring down at him. Smalls shrugged. Edward shook his head.

"You look…weird." Smalls ignored Kylen and kept reading his book. Kylen stared at him for a full five minutes, and when he got no reaction, wandered off to the fridge.

"Is that more comfortable or something?"
"You're the fourth person to ask, Picket."
"I'm just wondering! You've been sitting over here like that for almost half an hour now. I was curious."
"You're the fourth person, Picket."

"Should I ask why?" Heather peered down at him, an amused expression on her face. "Or just leave it be?"
"There's more books over there if your interested in joining me." Heather laughed.

"It's ten o'clock at night. How long have you been here?" Smalls glanced up and saw his father looking back down with raised eyebrows.
"Uh….I don't know. Where's Evan?"
"Asher drove him home. Apparently, they thought it would be funny to leave and see how long it would take you to notice."
"Hysterical."
"That's what I thought. I'm sure your mother has punished them adequately." Jupiter paused. "Though I do have one question; why on earth are you upside down?"
