Older style ships had always interested Namjoon from the early days of the NX class to the Constitution Class starships Namjoon loved them all. These ships had special places in Starfleet history and you just didn't see ships like them anymore. Ships these days were sleeker bigger and faster but something about the simplicity of the older ships appealed to him. These days everything was getting more automated more relying on computer systems to monitor and maintain them. Back then crews had to work
A sigh escaped him as he walked the corridors of the Enterprise he felt a sense of not belonging. As if he wasn't worthy to walk this ships corridors. Kirk commanded this ship with his legendary crew with this ship they stopped a infamous assisnation attempt and prevented the Klingon and Federation from diving into what would have been a very bloody war. It's a shame such a legendary ship was reduced to Training and now cargo runs. She belonged In a museum not here
Turning a corner Namjoon stopped and observed the brightly lit white panel corridors and a thought popped into his head
Starship corridors didn't really change much did they? The corridors here looked exactly like those of a Galaxy class starship although much whiter. Interesting
He stopped outside a door and the Label on it reading. C.O: Cpt J.Kirk and he felt a chill go down his spine. "nope not worthy I'll just nap in sickbay" he choked and was about to walk towards the turbo lift at the end of the hall when he heard Yoongi from behind
"Namjoon!" He called out and with a sigh Namjoon turned to face his Chief Engineer mentally preparing himself for yoongi to have found something wrong or to hear something got broken. " What's broken and how bad is it?" He asked
"Tha fuck? You think that's reason I'm here? I'm more then the bringer of bad news asshole I was going to say this ships in remarkable shape for her age and that Andoria crews estimate at least a month for the Bangtan"
Another sigh. "a month? Our mission shouldn't even take that long the various sectors we are going to are only couple weeks apart if we push it. " namjoon said
"You suck at math it's gonna take us a bit longer then that to finish our mission but ok again this ships in good shape she's gonna do warp nine if we treat her nice and a good crushing speed of warp 8.2 all systems are fully functional I've already disabled the training programs and disabled the simulation systems. This ships fully functional and I hate to say it but she's combat ready if needed phasers fully functional and Andoria is loading torpedos aboard. Let's try not to use them?"
Nodding Namjoon was in full agreement with that he had no intention of getting into any fights unless someone shot first
"Shields?" He asked cautious
"Shields are fully functional but don't expect them to take to many hits" Yoongi answered before pausing at the sound of Taehyung over the com
"Andoria is 60% complete with loading our Cargo. Repairs on Bangtan are underway and Starbase 124 wants a ETA Also outpost what ever tried to send something but it was badly garbled and I told them I don't speak static and to get back to me"
Namjoon wanted to say something and Yoongi had a wtf expression on his face as the two stood silently for a second before both speaking at the same time

Soon arriving Namjoon walked up to Taehyung and smacked him across the head "Hail the outpost now!" He demanded
"OW! FINE! COULD HAVE ASKED NICELY" the man whined turning to his station and pushing various buttons. "They're responding but again it's fuckin garbled onscreen Captain douchebag!"
The screen changed to a staticy background
"Starfleet come in! This is outpost….. badly.. damaged … dominion we are losing power!"
Namjoon felt his heart sink as he looked to his crew. "Taehyung clear that up best you can and contact Starfleets command is there anyone out there?"
A long pause as Taehyung worked his console "I'm losing contact with the outpost to much interfe…they're gone I've lost contact… and Starfleets reports no ships in that sector we are the closest" Taehyung said
Namjoon cursed silently under his breath
