"Last of the crew is aboard Captain. Andoria reports they've loaded the last of the cargo we don't have it all but we have most of it. Yoongi reports warp drive is ready" Taehyung said

"Incoming message from Andoria Spacedock"

"Enterprise you're clear for departure good luck" came a deep voice. "Jungkook take us out half impulse and once clear engage warp 9. " Namjoon said calmly though inside he was terrified barely a week into his first command and already he crippled one ship and was about to take a legendary one into a potential combat situation. "Eta Kook?" He asked watching the stars moving as they soon jumped into warp.

"Eta is one day" Jungkook said

"Tae keep trying to hail the outpost " Namjoon ordered

"Aye but alot of interference is coming from that area I think their coms are being jammed." Taehyung replied.

"Well here we go crew …. Let's live up to the name Enterprise and save some lives… who are we?' he asked

"BTS!" they shouted earning the first smile Namjoon had felt all week

-outpost 27-

"We are in sensor range Captain! Showing a single dominion attack ship above the outpost" Jimin reported "outpost has suffered extensive damage they lost main power!"

"Red alert! All power to shields" Namjoon ordered as the bridge became basked in a deep red with alarms sounding "Taehyung hail the Dominion vessel "

"Hailing thingy open!" He said

"Dominion vessel. This is the Federation starship Enterprise! You are in federation space and have attacked a federation outpost you are ordered to leave the system NOW!" Namjoon said sternly

"Nice boss very intimidating maybe they'll cry and run away" Yoongi snickered earning a glare from Namjoon

"They're...actually responding?" Tae said in a surprised voice. "Onscreen"

The view screen changed to show a Vorta woman who had a smug expression. "Enterprise...hmmm not the one I was expecting when I heard that name my records show there is only one currently in service yours is.. outdated?" She said. "We like you Captain were responding to a distress call and thought we could offer these poor people some assistance"

"That is appreciated but unneeded we will assist the outpost I'm asking you again to leave this sector" Namjoon repeated gripping his seat

"I don't think so no. You see while we were preparing necessary medical supplies we noticed this outpost was conducting some rather interesting military experiments such experiments are of interest to the founders. We will leave once we have acquired the necessary data. You have my assurance no one will be harmed and even you will be spared once we have finished" The Vorta spoke

"That data is federation property and I cannot allow you to leave with it. If you don't leave I will be forced to act" Namjoon said.

This earned a laugh from the Vorta. "act? Captain captain no need for such violent threats I have been rather patient and generous but I will remind you of the facts you are commanding a outdated starship by even Starfleets standards you are no match for my vessel and unless you wish to add to casualties you'll be the one to leave while I'm still in the mood to allow it" her voice dropped it's friendly tone as her eyes narrowed. "This is my final warning"

The screen faded to black "she ended the transmission and her vessels powering up it's weapons"

"Yoongi realistically how would we fair against her ship?" namjoon asked

"Realistically? Not very well our systems are at 100% but she's right we are very outdated interms of weapons but our shields are up to date we could take a couple of hits but don't count on them lasting Namjoon those attack cruisers face off against more modern ships...I got an idea Kook time to put your skills to the test"

Namjoon raised an eyebrow and looked to Yoongi. "Nam these Connie's are more manureerable then they're given credit for if kook can shoot us at full impulse and get us behind her ajd Jimin gets off a directed phaser shot followed by a torpedo we can cripple them. Those bugs have a weak spot I've heard about on the aft section."

"You heard Yoongi Jungkook and Jimin get ready. All hands battle stations!" Namjoon ordered leaning forward in his chair.

"Ready Captain!" Kook said hands ready to initiate the impulse drive. "Phasers standing by and torpedos loaded!" Jimin added

"Looks like they're figuring it out theyre firing!" Namjoon said as the bridge rocked from the resulting phaser blast.

"Shields down to 80%!" Jimin shouted. "NOW KOOK!" Namjoon ordered as the young ensigns hands flew across his console. The Dominion vessel quickly vanished from the screen as the Enterprise shot forward. "Bringing us around hold on!" Jungkook said. "Chim now!"

"Firing phasers!" Jimin said as the red beams lashed out connecting with the rear of the Dominion vessel "torpedos away they're moving trying to dodge!"

Their torpedos fired out with one smashing into the ship and the second missing

"Direct hit with the first they have hull damage but they're coming about and firing again!". The bridge rocked violently with sparks flying from a nearby console. "Shields down to 67%! " Jimin yelled

"Kook I need another lucky manuver!" Namjoon ordered as the Dominion ship lunged at them firing again

"Hull damage to forward sections!" Yoongi called out

"I'm trying Namjoon but they're faster then us!" Jungkook said trying his hardest to pilot them around the smaller vessel

"Firing at will maybe I'll get lucky!" Jimin said as their weapons lashed out at the craft. "Direct hit I got their naccele damage done they ain't Warpijg at least!"

"Keepfiring Jungkook try to avoid their disruptors!"

"I'm trying but they ain't making it easy!" Kook answered as the bridge continued to shake violently from the repeated disruptor fire.

"We're losing shields! Hull is buckling Namjoon I got microfractures forming in the engineering hull! Its time to retreat!" Yoongi shouted. "I'm heading to engineering I need to secure the core before we take any more damage!". Yoongi was quick to leave while Namjoon gritted his teeth. He didn't want to leave that outpost at the mercy of the dominion but right now it didn't seem that he had much of a choice.

"Tae try to get out a distress call." He said "Jungkook prepare to get us out of here." Namjoon ordered. "Com systems are still jammed I can't get anything through" Tae responded.

"Another direct hit ..holy shit I did it they're losing power!" Jimin exclaimed and to everyone's surprise the Dominion vessel went dark as she began to drift "dominion vessel has been disabled!!!" Jimin added earning cheers from everyone. "Excellent job Mochi! Hail them" Namjoon said with a grin

"Vorta Commander answering audio only" Tae responded and the voice of the Vorta came through

"I must say Captain your persistence is almost admirable but make no mistake you got lucky. You won't have such luck in the future"

"Sir their power core is overloading they're self destructing!" Jimin commented before the view screen lit up with the explosion of the Dominion ship causing the bridge to lurch violently as the Enterprise was caught in the blast

Managing to hang on Namjoon straightened himself and watched as the others pulled themselves back into their seats.

"Damage report? Do I even want to know?' he asked. "Well it's not as bad as it could have been. Given we just survived an encounter with a dominion ship and won. Shields are at 20% weapons still online. Warpdrive is down and main power at 56% we have a microfracture on deck 20 and some damage to the forward deflector array all on all we are still in good shape" Jimin answered.

"Hail Starfleet tell them we need a support vessel out here asap. Scan for any other dominion ships and prepare an away team for the outpost."

He could hear the Admiral now cussing him out for damaging the Enterprise but. They saved the outpost and that in itself was a job well done. He'd like to think Kirk would be proud.
