The Jurassic Loud House
Chapter 2: This World is Named for You
At the Loud House, all members of the family were crowded in the family bathroom, getting ready for bed. This was pretty routine, but it could get annoying how cramped it is with everyone in there at the same time.
"Um, I'm literally trying to brush my teeth here!", Lori yelled at Leni.
"We all are honey", Lynn Sr. said.
"Shh, I'm trying to brush my hair and you're making me lose count", Leni said, annoyed.
"Yeah, well I'm plucking nose hairs and I lost count too!", Lynn Sr. replied.
With this, everyone started arguing with each voice overlapping the other. Lincoln, however, was not partaking in the conversation. He was still stuck in a sense of sadness due to him not being as talented as his sisters, which inadvertently caused him to not get in the family photo. However, he was snapped out of his thoughts when he could swear he heard a knock at the door.
"Hey, did you guys here that?", Lincoln asked his family.
"Dang it, Stincoln, you made me lose count again!", Lynn Jr. said.
"Wait, come to think of it, I thought I did here somebody knocking…", Lynn Sr. thought out loud.
With the Loud family now quiet, they heard the knocking again, confirming Lincoln's observation was correct.
"I'll get the door!", Lynn Sr. declared as he ran towards the front door.
The rest of the Louds all watched from behind as the patriarch opened the door, revealing none other than Angus, the same Scottish man from the islands of Costa Rica from before.
"Um, who are you?", Lynn Sr. asked. "If you're selling anything I'm not buying".
"Oh, please, I'm not selling anything", Angus replied. "Well, come to think of it, I am technically selling something".
"Well, I've heard enough", Lynn Sr. almost closed the door.
"But what if I told you I was selling you a free vacation…?", Angus smiled.
"Vacation?!", the Loud siblings jumped with joy as they ran down the stairwell.
"Aye, a free vacation to one of my islands just off Costa Rica", Angus said. "Do you mind if I let myself in?" Lynn Sr. obliged the man and Angus took a seat on the couch in the living room. "Oh, forgive me for not properly introducing myself. My name is Angus, and I am the creator and groundskeeper of my institute on the island of Isla Nublar".
"What kind of institute?", Lola asked.
"Is it a theme park?!", Lana chimed in.
"In a manner of speaking yes", Angus replied.
"Wait, let's back up here", Rita said. "So, you come barging into our house saying that we're eligible for a vacation on Isla Nublar? Honey, we never entered any sort of lottery competitions, did we?"
"No, not that I can think of", Lynn Sr. answered.
"Oh, please, I trust your word that you did nothing of the sort", Angus continued. "The reason why I have come to your place was because this place has been yearning for the presence of the Louds ever since its creation! If you agree to this vacation, you'll get to learn more about your ancestors as well!"
Lincoln thought about this and couldn't help but be excited. If the Louds discover who their ancestors are, he might be able to discover a hidden talent he has, and then he can finally be special, just like his sisters.
"Please, please, please, pleeeease!", the Loud kids begged their parents.
"Wait, wait, wait", Rita said. "First of all, just how did you find out about us, and second of all, how much would this vacation even be?"
"Well, I heard that Louds were still around due to this flyer here", Angus said as he held up the paper promoting the Loud sisters on it. "As soon as I found out that Louds were still around, I knew I had to find them as soon as I could".
"Wow, I guess our fame and popularity reaches even Isla Nubler or whatever it's called", Lola bragged.
"You said it, little dudette", Luna smiled.
Lincoln held his head in shame, once again in his sisters' shadows. Angus took notice to this.
"And I knew if I was going to find Louds, I knew I needed to find the most special Loud of them all", Angus smiled at Lincoln.
The sisters did not know who he was talking about, but Lincoln couldn't help but notice that the tone and mannerisms Angus used in that sentence were directed to him. But there's no way that could be! Him? The most special of the Louds? A part of him thought he was living a fantasy, but another part of him couldn't help but give it a second thought.
"And as far as expense goes, your visit will be free. When Louds are concerned, I spare no expense", Angus said. "Oh, and I forgot to mention, there will be dinosaurs involved, too…"
"Dinosaurs?!", the Loud kids all jumped with joy.
"Can we please go…?", Leni pleaded.
"Oh, alright", Lynn Sr. smiled. "We have always been able to make vacations work".
"Besides, you kids have been extra good recently, so I think we all deserve a good vacation, and it's free!", Rita added.
"Angus, we're in!", Lincoln declared.
"Oh, blow me bagpipes!", Angus cheered. "I'll give you all the night to rest up. Tomorrow, we set course for Isla Nublar!"
Hearing this, the Louds cheered as they would finally be getting another vacation.
The next day, the gang had already set course for the island, using a highly advanced airplane Angus used to arrive to the States.
"Wow, this is literally the fanciest airplane I have ever been on!", Lori commented.
"I guess you could say the service here is pretty high up!", Luan joked.
The other Louds groaned in response.
"Hey, Angus, when you said dinosaurs would be involved, what exactly do you mean?", Lincoln asked the man. "Are you talking, like, animatronics or fossils?"
"Oh, trust me lad, you'll see when we arrive…", Lincoln smiled. "Speaking of which, it looks like we're here!"
The Louds, especially the kids, were all getting excited as the plane landed on the island. When it did, they all exited promptly. Noticing it landed close to the shore, Angus had an idea.
"Before we go, there is something you all should behold for yourselves", Angus said as he looked up at a large hill. "Follow me".
All the Louds did so and eventually, Angus led them to the top of a hill where they could behold the large ocean around them.
"If you brought us up here, just to go for a walk, I'm gonna be very displeased, mister!", Lola complained.
"Oh, don't worry, I'm sure you'll find our little venture here to be worth your while", Angus replied. "Now, you remember me mentioning dinosaurs, right?"
"Poppy-cock", Lisa scoffed. "If your intent is to show us real-life dinosaurs, I can assure you they went extinct approximately 65 million years ago".
"Well, maybe you just need something to change your mind, lassie. Now, gather 'round. You see those birds up there in the sky?"
"Yeah, but what's so special about birds?", Lana asked.
"Look at what's below them", Angus answered.
The Louds looked down at the water and saw a large silhouette of some sort of aquatic creature they had never seen before. They knew they had never seen it, for it was larger than any whale they knew of. The silhouette was large in body and the shape of its head was somewhat crocodilian as well. Then, before any of them could speculate, or give a reason for the silhouette to be fake, the large creature leaped out of the water and ate the birds with one gulp! This creature was large and scaly, and its jaw seemed to encompass two rows of large teeth. Oh, yeah, and it's supposed to be extinct, too, until now, that is. The Louds were in shock by what they saw, but Angus smiled.
"Well, blow me bagpipes!", Angus chuckled. "Now, do you believe me?"
"I could mark up what I saw a mere special effect, but…it just looked so real…", Lisa said.
"What even was that, dudes?", Luna asked.
"That was our island's very own Mosasaurus", Angus replied. "She serves as the guardian of our land".
"Please, can we see that again…?", Lana begged.
"Well, if you'd like, I took take ye down to the ocean to get a closer look at her", Angus said.
"That would be awesome!", Lincoln agreed.
With this, Angus led the Louds back down, where they entered a large canoe, fit for a group their size.
"Now, fair warning, our Mosasaurus is a little shy, so make sure you come on easy", Angus advised while rowing the boat. "But I'm sure once she finds out the Louds have returned, she won't want ye to leave!"
Shortly after, the Mosasaurus approached the boat from underwater and Angus stopped rowing.
"Good morning, Mosa", Angus said to the creature. "There's no need to be shy. It's me, Angus, and I've brought some guests I'm sure you'd like to meet".
The Louds were touched by this, watching Angus treat the Mosasaurus with care. Given how shy she was, the Mosasaurus slowly poked her head out.
"That's it, good girl", Angus smiled. "Now, Mosa, it is my pleasure to introduce you to the one and only, Loud family!"
Right when he said this, the Mosasaurus' (or Mosa's) face expression lit up with joy.
"Hi", a Lincoln said.
"Good to meet you", Leni added.
"You're kinda cute", Lana chimed in.
Hearing that the Louds had finally returned, Mosa swam her head over to them, in which the Louds all smiled down on her.
"I think she wants you to pet her", Angus said.
The Louds all started petting her and Mosa indulged in the attention.
"Aw, good girl", Lori said.
"We love you, Mosa", Leni added.
As the Louds continued petting her, Mosa ended up taking a special liking to Lincoln, specifically. This was made clear by it lifting its own head up to him.
"Oh, uh, hey there, Mosa", Lincoln stuttered a bit.
"I think she likes you, Lincoln", Angus smiled.
"Lucky…", Lana complained, all be it jokingly.
"Aw, who's a good girl?", Lincoln said as he lightly stroked her scales. "You're not so bad after all, are you?"
After about a minute, the Mosasaurus shifted back deeper into the water, still lit up about the Louds returning.
"Well, I think it's time I show ye all to this lovely world", Angus said. "And if you thought this was exciting, just you wait", he said as he rowed them back them back to shore.
Once they arrived back, Angus led the Louds into the town, where there seemed to be a lot of forestations around the houses, most likely to make room for some large, wild animals of the island. On top of that, a lot of the walls and windows of certain establishments had what looked to be cave paintings of the Louds family with dinosaurs on them. Meanwhile, all the people from across the town gathered around Angus and the Loud family.
"Is that them? Could it be? Are those the Louds?", were all questions asked by the townsfolk.
"Oh, hi!", Lori said.
"Hello!", Lola greeted them.
"Everyone here is so friendly", Lori commented.
"Um, Angus, how does everyone here know about us?", Lincoln asked.
"I'm glad you asked, lad. Allow me to explain", Angus smiled as he stood amongst the townsfolk. "Welcome to Jurassic World!"
Angus
You see, 65 million years ago
The dinosaurs rose to fame
By a family who ruled them all
I believe you know the name
But Earth lost its leaders, lost its way
It's never been the same
That family's name was Loud
And you've come to rule again!
Angus and Louds
This world is named for you, yes
This world is named for you
This world is named for you, yes
This world is named for you
This world is named for you, yes
This world is named for you
It's hard to believe, it's crazy but true
This world is named for you
Angus
And 65 million years, nature's waited
With a hope as strong as stone
For the dinosaurs to come back again
We've yearned
In this glorious castle on the hill
We've been awaiting you
My Louds, at last you've returned!
Come on!
During this awesome song number, in the castle on the hill, a woman was taking a nice, hot bath that had become interrupted due to the music. When she got up to look out the window, she became horrified by what she saw. The Louds have returned!
Angus and Louds
This world is named for you, yes
This world is named for you
This world is named for you, yes
This world is named for you
This world is named for you, yes
This world is named for you
It's hard to believe, it's crazy but true
This world is named for you
