'A day has passed since the little riot that Scott "Trash Man" Grossman had started. Things have been a bit odd, considering that the patient had to be moved to a different unit for solitary confinement. Suki told me that she had to be put in there once. I hope it doesn't happen again while I'm here.
Honestly, it was a bit scary being cornered by a large, mentally disabled man wearing trash bags on him like he's the goddamn juggernaut. I never thought I'd see something like that in a mental hospital.
Still, I've neglected to catch up with everything Zoey and Lillian have been through. I'm still shocked that she saw my old roommate's predatory thoughts. The man was a danger yet he can walk free.
I still have yet to see Dr. Spengler again. I'm not sure what that kook is planning, but I can only imagine it's not good. I hope that whenever I get out of here, IF I get out of here, my life can go back to normal. Or, as normal as it can get.
Anyways, enough of this journal entry. Gotta go see what the girls are up to. Don't wanna be a stranger to them.'
Justin went into the dayroom to see the goth, the weeb, and the cyber chick. He came in seeing them all playing some sort of competitive game with playing cards and homemade chess pieces.
"What's going on here?" he asked, not aware of what they were doing.
Lillian glanced at him. "Like, we're playing Dungeons & Drama. Do you mind?"
Hearing the name of this game peaked his interest. He had heard of Dungeons & Dragons before, but not Dungeons & Drama.
"So, what's this game about, exactly?" he asked, mainly facing towards Zoey.
The cyber chick stopped their game for a moment so she could explain what the premise of this game was all about.
"This is a game we invented using various chess pieces and other things from the board games we were provided by the hospital. We're doing some RPG-type of game in which we roleplay as the personas of our choosing. We call it dungeons & drama because..."
"Shut up." Lillian interrupted, knowing what she was about to say.
"Hmm, okay? If you don't mind me asking, what are your characters' names?"
"My character is a non-binary individual named Blake. They are a warlock with amazing powers." Zoey said.
"Like, my character is a dark elf named Lillandra. She's like, really fucking sexy and shit. Yeah."
Interesting he thought to himself.
"And mine's Cera, she's a super duper Kawaii bard with magical girl powers. MMHMM!"
"Um..." he said, sounding a bit off.
"Like, what?" the goth stated. "You think this makes us a bunch of freaks?"
"No, no. It's not that. It's just... This is plagiarism."
All three looked at him, not knowing how this would be plagiarism.
"Plagiarism?" Zoey asked.
"Yeah. It's forgery, plagiarism, and self-masturbation." he said, now sounding like a total wacko.
"Like, what the fuck are you saying, dude?" the goth said.
He suddenly snapped himself out of it, realizing that the dysfunction of the head wound kicked in, making him say something outlandish.
"I-I don't know."
"Still, that was pretty fucking weird. Are you saying we're copying someone else?"
"No, it's nothing like that. Forget I said that. Hey, maybe I should play with you girls some time? This seems like a lot of fun."
The cyber chick grinned, thinking that was a good idea.
"I'll take it into consideration." she replied.
A few hours later after they got finished with their little roleplaying game, Justin started to think about someone. Someone he missed dearly...
"Mom..." he said to himself, finally thinking about his family after all this time. Although the family had split apart after the Greenseed incident, he still loved his mother. He didn't want to tell her that he was in a mental institution. Then again, he couldn't.
The goth looked over at him, realizing he looked a bit depressed.
"Like, are you good?" she asked.
Oh my God... Is that spoiled goth chick really asking that question?
"Y-Yeah." he said, trying to cover up his negative tone.
The goth looked at him, thinking to herself.
"You know, maybe you weren't as lame as I thought you were." she said.
He glanced at her. "What is that supposed to mean?"
"Like, you seem a bit relatable, I guess. I never really talked to you about my issues, but I think I'm starting to trust you now, or whatever."
Hearing her be a bit more empathetic was baffling to hear. JD thought Audrey doing that was crazy. Lillian, on the other hand, never seemed like she would. It was impossible.
"You mean that?" he asked, making sure she wasn't pulling his leg.
"Yeah. Maybe later, we can have a talk. I wanna know what's up with you. You know I don't trust that many people. Consider yourself lucky."
He smiled, still amazed that the spoiled, 18-year old goth chick who gave him trouble a year ago, finally seemed to be opening up to him. He never really liked Lillian, at least not in that way. But now, it seemed like they could finally bond over something.
Justin went to the dayroom, ready to enjoy his end-of-day leisure activities. However, the main entrance opened with a new patient being admitted. It was a man he first met over a year ago when he upset the Delrio cousins at El Coretti.
Is that Pablo? he thought, seeing the tan man with red lips. Pablo looked a little more chubby since he was last seen. Obviously, the tan man had officially let himself go, turning his muscular body into a straight up log.
"Pablo?" he said, making sure he wasn't hallucinating.
"Oh, uh, Justin! What a coincidence. What are you doing here?" he said, being suspicious as usual.
"I could ask you the same thing. Vin told me you had gone missing a few months ago. Did you crawl into a ditch with a meth head or something?"
The tan man frowned, realizing that the word of his disappearance got out.
"I was living in an alleyway, actually." he said, correcting the 23 year old.
"Heh, THAT doesn't surprise me." he replied, still remembering their previous encounter.
"Look, I've been homeless for over six months now. I tried to write a book but that didn't work out. I tried to befriend a rich celebrity but he went missing. Now, I'm just here for some shelter and maybe some rehab."
As Pablo was finishing his brief backstory, the Korean walked in. The moment he saw his face, he went berserk.
"YOU!" Clyde shouted, finally being vocal for once.
So THAT'S what he sounds like...
"Clyde, I can expl-"
But before he could give an explanation, the Korean thug had grabbed him by the neck and began to strangle the tan man. Justin didn't know Clyde, but seeing him put his hands around a dumb prick like Pablo was a sight to behold.
"Get off of him, Clyde!" David said, breaking the two up.
"You have a lot of balls showing your stupid face here." the Korean said, still outraged seeing him in the hospital.
JD was stuck in the middle of this, not aware of what was going on or what kind of beef they had. As much as he wanted to stay out of it, he was curious about the whole thing.
"So, Clyde? Do you know him?" he asked.
The Korean turned his head, not wanting to make eye-contact when responding to his question.
"Yeah, I know him. He was an old friend from Glenberry University, or so I thought. We used to hang out all the time until I was expelled for bad behavior. He dropped out later on, like the dumb fuck that he is. After a while, we basically became ghosts to each other."
"Okay..." he said, trying to understand what this was about. "So, why are you mad at him?"
The Korean faced his head towards them, pointing directly at Pablo. "This punk spiked my drink with a tracking chip six years ago and has relentlessly followed me since. He's the reason the Wilsons knew that I brought that girl in the motel. He's the reason that girl was beaten and kidnapped, and he's the reason my life had gone to shit."
Hearing the Korean say that rang a few bells in his head. He remembered the ex-party girl had dated some guy, who was also of Korean descent, the previous June. Is this the same guy who's responsible for Audrey's trauma?
"Was the girl you were dating named Audrey Belrose?" he asked.
Clyde paused. His pupils widened, realizing that there was a connection between him and her.
"Y-Yeah. Red hair? Wore a red and white dress with roses on it?"
Justin nodded, knowing that this was the same guy. That dress was destroyed after she was kidnapped.
"Yeah," he replied. "She's my friend, the same girl who was traumatized because some Korean ass-wipe got her involved with the criminal underworld."
He shook his head. "No, you've got it all wrong. I wasn't the reason that happened."
"Then who was? You were that guy who worked for the Italian mob. From what I've heard, you were the one who wiped them out and let the Sicilians take over Commotion City's criminal empire. Honestly, I think you did a good job, but Audrey's traumatized now. She even converted herself into a Christian, which I never thought she'd do."
The Korean thug sighed, not sure if he should tell him who the real culprit was.
"Look, I know this might sound crazy, but the only reason I even met that bitch to begin with was because some hallucination of a pink-haired tooth fairy made me get with her. She was trying to train me to become a playboy or some shit. It wasn't my choice."
What the fuck...
"Kyu?" he asked.
He gasped, not aware that this man he had never seen before also had connections with the pink-haired love fairy.
"Y-Yeah. How did you-?"
"I'm Justin Dark, also known as JD. I used to be the big playboy in the city and it was all thanks to her."
Clyde's jaw dropped, overwhelmed with all of the twists and turns the situation had in it. Zoey was astonished that he also met someone from Sky Garden.
"So, Mr. Kimmi also encountered one of the servants of the Butterfly Queen?" she said.
"Looks like it. I can't believe he was the one who dated Audrey. I guess it really is a small world, isn't it?"
"Indeed it is."
The Korean looked at him dead in the eyes.
"Me and you are gonna talk later." he bluntly stated, seeming to be a tad more stable knowing that he wasn't crazy.
"Okay..." he replied, still baffled that this was the same guy who dated the ex-party girl.
Damn, this must be what Venus has been scolding Kyu for. I gotta talk to her about this.
Pablo just sat there, not knowing what to say on the matter. Instead, he decided to make the conversation more about himself.
"So, anyone wanna hear about how I met THE Damien Flamingo?" the tan man said.
Justin and Zoey both looked at him, now sure if he was aware of the videos that were leaked of him in July.
"You do know that guy was an incel, right?" he asked.
"Incel? What's that?"
He facepalmed, not in the mood to explain what that slang term meant. Zoey, however, was happy to volunteer.
"An incel is a very sexist man who disrespects women, abuses them, and puts himself above them. They are very toxic individuals. More often than not, the greedy capitalists give them the spotlight as opposed to the friendlier, independent artists."
"Hmm, that doesn't sound too bad." the tan man said.
Usually, Zoey was always against physical attacks, unless she was playing D&D. However, she walked up to Pablo and slapped him right across the face.
"Don't ever say that again." she said, sounding more stern than usual.
"Ow! Come on! First, I was shot in the gut. Next, I was punched in the mouth. Then, I was pushed to the ground. After that, I had a salty-ass drink thrown at my face, burning my eyes. Now, I'm being slapped by some random broad that I don't even know."
Justin then walked up to him, proceeding to slap him for that last statement.
"Don't disrespect women." he said.
"I wasn't disrespecting women," he exclaimed. "I was just saying how many times I've been physically assaulted in the last few months."
"You called her a broad. Zoey's not about that and I'm not about calling her those sexist terms."
She smiled at him, pleased that he was sticking up for her.
The tan man shook his head, thinking everyone was being a bit harsh for someone who was just admitted into Blackwing to fix themselves.
"Look, I'm just here to fix myself, okay? I want to make peace with my brother and be a part of their lives. I wanna be Uncle Pablo."
He chuckled, thinking that it was never gonna happen.
"You're a lost cause, Pablo. You've done just as much damage as that Ahemtut guy I know online. He couldn't redeem himself, so what makes you think you can?"
Pablo made an angry face. "I'll show you, bub. You'll see."
Justin shook his head, knowing what kind of person Pablo Gill was. This is the same guy who was stalking Vinnie outside of his house at 2 in the morning. He can't be redeemed. He's a lost cause...
"I'll believe it when I see it."
The rest of the day was a bit awkward, seeing as how they had a new patient in here. Of course, once Clyde woke up, he would constantly glare at his ex-friend. He was still upset at the situation from June. Still, this was a good opportunity to make amends about it. Group therapy was a good time, that's for sure.
JD was supposed to see Dr. Spengler again soon for another conversation about his treatment plan. Considering the wrinkly old doctor kept it secret for over a week so far, no doubt he was up to no good.
