"Tammy I have your sippy cup here if you want it? We are going costume shopping with auntie Rachey soon so I have to get you ready honey." Donna told her daughter who was watching TV as well as playing with her sensory toys.
Harvey and Donna's daughter Tammy is autistic, she is 4 years old with sensory processing disorder, which meant she would be behind in school from all the other kids in her grade in school, which Harvey and Donna made sure that she got from Tammy started Pre K! As Harvey was the best closer in New York before his daughter was born he made sure that his children got the best education they could. Donna was sceptical that she her kids would be as successful as her and Harvey nut unfortunately Tammy autistic and needs 24/7 care which meant that they had to hire a nanny for Tammy.
"I want up there!" Tammy pointed to the cupboard in the kitchen as she couldn't pronounce proper sentences and it did bother her a lot, even though Harvey and Donna did try and communicate with her as the best they could with her.
"What honey tell me, you want this? No? This? Tammy tell mommy what you want we have to go in a second Ray is coming to pick us up we don't have time babe." As Donna tried to get her daughters attention.
"No! NO! Mama one there." As Tammy pointed to the candy in the cupboard which was meant to be well hidden from her and God knows how she knew it was there.
"Errrr... no madam Specter how on earth did you know they were there?! You're not meant to know they are there, these kids are too clever. Come on darling let's get your shoes on and then we can go Halloween costume shopping with auntie Rachel okay?" As Donna got her Tammy's shoes and waited by the front door for Tammy sit on the floor so she could put her shoes on.
"No shoes, not shoes." As Tammy tried to run out of the condo laughing.
"Hey! No! No! Not happening missus let's go! Sit down on the floor so mommy can put on your shoes I can't bend down much because mommy's tummy is too big. If your behave yourself we can see daddy afterwards in his office how about that baby girl?" Donna suggested as she put Tammy's Dior shoes on when Tammy's 3rd came she and Harvey went to buy Tammy a whole load a gifts and it still fits her even though she's 4 years old she's small for her age.
Tammy was a very intelligent 4 year old who knew what she wanted, but she needed a lot of help and support with her parents as well as her uncle Mike and auntie Rachel as well as her daddy's colleagues from the firm who loved her very much as they knew that she was autistic. Tammy was extremely excited to go tick or treating with her parents and her uncle Mike and aunt Rachel and she kept on going on and on about going so Donna made a deal with Tammy about getting a dressing up costume for Tammy, she was going to be a butterfly as she got scared of being a witch last year when she was 3 years old.
Harvey dressed up as a baseball player as it was one of his favourite sports and Donna was gonna be a flower but she wasn't going be over the top as she was pregnant and she was going to give birth in a few weeks time she wasn't in the mood to put a lot of make up on like she did for work now that she on maternity leave, and spending lots of time with Tammy. Tammy understood everything but she though of everything differently even though she was a very bubbly character, Tammy loved going to the park and exploring and watching TV something educational.
"Trick or treating tonight?" As Donna finished putting on Tammy's shoes on as she waited for her mom to grab everything and put it in her purse and grab her sunglasses.
"We are honey, we are come on uncle Ray is waiting for us by the car come let's go baby press the button for the elevator press it good girl!" As Donna locked up the condo as the private elevator opened up in time.
"Lobby mommy?" Tammy asked as she was ready to press the button to go to the lobby.
"That's right you're so, so clever baby girl." As Donna bent down as much as possible to kiss Tammy's cheek and rub her back.
Once Ray had dropped Donna and Tammy off in Time Square to meet Rachel for lunch and a bit of shopping for Tammy's Halloween costume, they walked around a bit and go into the Disney Store to see what costume they can get Tammy. Tammy was extremely excited! She loved Disney characters and she didn't know what to choose so Donna had to choose for her, with her learning disabilities and her autism Harvey and Donna had to help her with everything Tammy was mildly-server and they couldn't wait to see Tammy's reaction when they took her to trick or treating that evening because Donna had to leave everything to the very last minute because not only of her very busy schedule, at work because of her pregnancy and because of Harvey's too.
"So how is everything going? And how are you missy?" As Rachel asked how everything was with Tammy and Donna especially with Harvey who wasn't there as he was so busy running the firm.
"Everything is good, Harvey is good very, very busy with work and dealing with Tammy as much as he can when he's home when he isn't doing paperwork that he does bring home BUT the big but, Tammy come back here! Grab her quick!" Donna quickly said as Tammy tried to run out of the store and Rachel quickly grabbed her hand and Tammy laughed.
"Tammy no come back to your mommy cheeky girl." Rachel laughed and shook her head.
"No way you don't do that! You want to you go trick or treating with daddy tonight, you've got to behave yourself!" Donna warned as she took a deep breath as she got scared that Tammy would run away as she had done before when she was younger.
"She's laughing that she doesn't care, that's not nice Tammy you can't do that to your mommy." Rachel stroked her goddaughter's hair as she took her hand as Donna was trying to find her daughter's Halloween costume for tonight.
Donna, Rachel and Tammy had their fun day out when they decided to have an exclusive lunch at one of the top hotels in Manhattan, Donna had taken Harvey's credit card to spend on for the shopping spree and for their lunch. Harvey had told Donna this morning to tell him how much she had spent at the end of it so he wouldn't go bankrupt, also Harvey told Donna not to buy him anything but Donna is Donna she always bought her husband something exclusive that he always liked Tom Ford of course when it came out only last week or just the day before in the store BUT it wasn't cheap! Tammy had also wanted to buy her daddy something that she liked and put it in Donna's face.
"Mama this for daddy!" Tammy put a Gucci belt right in Donna's face as she liked the look of it.
"Whoa! Honey, okay just be careful what you do with things okay, you could have my eyes out alright baby girl?" As Donna took the Gucci belt from Tammy and looked at Rachel.
That was so close Don, here let me hold that and her Halloween costume for you babe." Rachel took everything from her best friend.
"Oh thank you so much Rach, here take the basket from Tammy before she runs off with too." Rachel took the basket from Tammy.
Back at the condo 5 hours later
Ray dropped off Harvey back at the condo at six thirty as he was taking Tammy trick or treating, Donna couldn't come with in the end as she had changed her mind as she was heavily pregnant and due in a few weeks she was exhausted from the shopping spree, so Harvey promised Donna to take Tammy to get Candy even though Harvey and Donna was going to hide it from her once she got home as she was going to jump off the walls. Tammy ended up getting an Elsa costume she didn't want to be a butterfly in the end as she changed her mind as she saw her favourite character in the store, so Donna had to buy her a Frozen costume was her ultimate movie at the present moment.
"Okay no trick or treating with daddy that's it Tammy isn't going with daddy she's not listening to me, put your Elsa costume on please." Donna sat down on Tammy's bed waiting for her daughter to get dressed up at this present moment Tammy was only in underwear.
"What is going on in here? Tammy? I'm not gonna take you if you're not listening to your mother put your costume on I have mine on i'm waiting for you honey." Harvey came and leaned on his daughter's door.
"Drink, cup." Tammy said as she laid on her bed and Donna sighed and put the costume on the bed.
"Can you get her some water please babe I'm utterly exhausted she's been a little pain all day." Patting her daughter's bum as Tammy squealed.
"Tammy, put it on please if I get your zippy cup I want your Elsa costume on please sweetheart." Harvey winked at Donna and she sighed.
"Okay dress mama." As Tammy tried to get it off her mommy.
"Okay, okay calm down honey. Here come here sweetie pie let me put it over your head baby, because once daddy comes back he'll have your water you'll be dressed as princess Elsa, and let me take a photo of you in your dress!" Donna excitedly to Tammy as she smiled at her daughter.
"Picture mama, picture!" Tammy excitedly said as Tammy loved having her pictures taken.
"Good girl! Right over your head, let me do up your zip, turn around baby." Donna turned around Tammy to do up her zip as Harvey came in with Tammy's zippy cup full of water.
"Rachel is here with Jamie, they are waiting in the living room." Harvey came in with Tammy's water.
"Okay, I didn't hear the buzzer go I must of been busy with this madam." As she kissed Tammy's forehead and cheek.
"Don't spill it please actually take her outside of her I don't want her in here and making a mess, she's ready to go, put her shoes on please Harv... it's buy the door." Donna got up from the bed.
"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Harvey stroked his wife's back as he knew that she was uncomfortable and kissed her cheek.
"No, no I want to have a hot bath and relax and catch up on the Golden Girls with Rachel while you take the kids." Harvey then raised his eyebrow.
"The Golden Girls that's so old where did you find that?" He asked as Rachel took the kids photos and sent it to Harvey and Donna's phone and buzzed.
"Never you mind Mr Specter can you take them trick or treating before Tammy acts up please and before bedtime go on." As Donna pushed him towards the front door as they saw the private elevator.
"Uncle Harvey are we gonna get a lot of candy tonight?" Jamie asked her uncle as she held Tammy's hand as Tammy pressed the elevator button Tammy never let anyone else press it and Jamie understood why Tammy didn't like anyone else pressing it as she got so upset.
"It's Halloween! Let's have some fun and get some candy!" Harvey clapped and Tammy got a freight and stroked her cheek to calm her as Donna laughed and shut the apartment door.
"My daddy is working in Seattle so he's working in a different city, so he told me to get as much candy as possible." Jamie said in confidence.
"You are so brave." Harvey smiled at his niece.
