Chapter 2 - Opening moves
Just outside North City Age 774
(Author, Now Arturia's P.O.V)
The three of us made camp in a cave nearby North City, It honestly still feels a bit like a dream as I watch Mashu and Grey go about setting up camp, using this time to slowly think through what my plans are going forward.
"Ok, I have some time before the World Martial Arts Tournament to start and the Kais get involved regarding Babdi…so, let's run down what I have at my disposal…"
As I recall the details of my build, staring down at my huge breasts as I do due to sitting down and holding my legs, still wearing this armor of mine at that, I blush as I recall that setting up camp isn't exactly needed in the first place…
"Girls, it appears I made a mistake and forgot about something Crucial…"
Mashu and Grey stop what they're doing and look to me, their puzzled looks looking fairly cute, despite one of them being what mine is like now.
"Mistress, what do you mean by that?" Mashu says, the adorably cute lavender-haired Kohai herself speaking for the both of them as they seek clarification on my own slightly cryptic words.
"Well….I forgot that we have access to portals our own personal pocket space manor of sorts.." I can't help but mentally facepalm at the fact I forgot something like that right out of the goddamn gates.
Hearing the two giggle at my own forgetfulness, I can't help but blush while probably pouting, before shaking my head and getting up from my sitting position, eager to get into somewhere much more comfortable.
WIth that, I reach out and form a glowing blue rectangular portal for the three of us to go into. Once I do, the three of us enter the portal that leads to our new home….
Pocket space of Arturia Morgana Pendragon
When we finally exit on the other side of the portal, the first thing I can smelt is the salty sea breeze, as we are standing on a beach just outside of the manor home. Seeing all this, just for me and my waifus fills me with a sense of contentment.
"Girls, we're home…" The single sentence that passes through my lips is enough to generate smiles on the two as well. We make our way up to the Manor and head inside, commentating on the various plants and the various birds we see in the trees nearby due to the beach upgrade along the way.
"Ok girls, let's settle into our rooms, and tomorrow, we'll head into North City" I say with a calm smile, underneath my smile though there is a feeling of…something I've yet to identify mentally yet, strange..
"Ok Mistress" "Understood Mistress" The two say, after which I let them choose their own rooms, slowly walking to one of the bigger rooms and making it my own after writing on the paper name-plate on the front of the door with my new name.
As I walk in, it's definitely a lot larger and more spacious than I am used to, even having a gaming PC center near the bed like I used to have it when….When I was…
I find myself shaking and stripping off my armor in a hurry, almost desperate to do so before rushing to the nearby Full-body mirror. I can see it, my new form, the huge breasts I now have, the wide hips, the large backside, I have it all….and yet..my eyes, these new softly glowing green eyes of mine…it's not my old body, it's not the body I had when I was still alive in my home world.
In the back of my head, I know that whatever that Kirei-look-alike is doing can see all this, but I can't help it as I find myself sobbing loudly in grief and falling to my knees in front of the mirror. I miss my family, I miss my grandparents, my sisters, my mother, my cousin, my aunt, I miss my old life..
Yes, I did get everything that I wanted, but at the cost of everything I knew before, all my friends, all of the things I hold precious to me before in that life, it's all gone. I don't know when, but I broke the mirror in front of me, utterly cracking it and the wall behind me without really thinking.
Deep down, I realize that ever since I appeared in this new body, I was probably half-doing things on auto-pilot, going by instincts, and only now, having truly seen my beautiful and Sexy new reflection, do I finally have it hammered into my head that the life I had before, as stagnant as it was, it's gone and there is no way to get it back…right..?
I quickly shake my head, knowing I need to accept this new reality of mine, as fucked-up as it is since I know EXACTLY what the rings me and my new family have on are and the part of me that is of the old me, the memories of who I was before this life, is hesitant on using the rings, these Tempest Jewels, knowing how far I upgraded them leads me to…Other..temptations.
Even so, I resolve to set ground rules, limits made by my own free will regarding these quite literally binding rings. As such I swear to myself I will never bind them simply to capture and forget, I want to connect to the people I'm giving these rings to, to actually have a genuine connection of sorts. Despite all this, I know I'm a Hypocrite knowing that if I have no choice, I will use these rings to ensnare victory from the jaws of defeat if I have to.
"Mistress…?" I am started as I hear Mashu right at my door, looking at me naked and sobbing in front of a broken mirror. I dry my tears as I stand up and turn to face her, the bouncing of my huge breasts barely distracting me from my sullen mind state.
"Mashu…I apologize, I just….was dealing with some lingering regret.." I can't even look her in the eyes as I say this, my mind all over the place regarding this entire situation. Then without warning, Mashu enters my room and hugs me. As I struggle to really try and respond to this, Mashu herself merely says "Mistress, you're not alone in this, we're supposed to be your family now aren't we…?"
Her words stun me, I remember before that I did indeed declare proudly that we are a family, the Pendragon family.
"Mashu….thank you, I….really needed to hear that" Saying it myself is one thing but hearing it from one of the waifus at my side, the adorable lavender-haired Kohai….I smile warmly and return the hug, even as Mashu blushes being so close to my huge breasts, but remains in the hug, for my sake.
Soon though, I find myself making the following request " Mashu, I know I said you and grey should get separate rooms for now, but I would like it if you and grey slept alongside me tonight, I will admit, I need you close to me right now, please…"
Mashu's eyes briefly widen before she smiles and pulls away from the hug, nodding before rushing off to get gray. While she does, I find myself getting out basic, see-through nightgown to wear to sleep for the night, I find myself amazed at how thorough the company is at times, I should not be so fluid in how to dress and take care of myself as a woman, and yet here I am, putting on all this as if it's as simple as can be.
Once the two come back, I find myself simply smiling and beaconing them to the bed, I clamber in myself and lay back while the two get down to their own nightwear for the night, climbing into bed alongside me as I pull up the covers, Mashu to my left, Grey to my right, Add (Which I only just now even noticed for the first time) Is rather silent, but perhaps that's to be expected due to how…personal this is in his eyes perhaps..
I let the lights turn off, and simply fall asleep to the sound of the two next to me snoozing along with me.
Pocket Space of Arturia Pendragon Dragon Ball World Time: 8:15 am
(Arturia's P.O.V)
I moan as I slowly wake up, feeling two people next to me as I get up from my bed….and look around the same room as I sleep in, truly confirming that this truly is my life now.
I sigh before slowly getting out of bed, careful not to wake up the two at either side of me before I start undressing out of the sheer nightgown, entering the bathroom to take a relaxing warm shower after that emotionally draining day before, taking full advantage of all the Inserted knowledge that the company ever so graciously gave me to ensure I don't make a complete fool of myself with my new body, I finish up the shower and dry off before walking out, making sure that my two….family members are still asleep before going to where I found the nightgown last night, the walk-in wardrobe.
Entering the walk-in robe that I had found the nightgown in and grab a similar outfit to what Saber Alter would where for Shinjuku Singularity without really thinking about it, only stopping when I notice what I'd picked out and how similar yet different it is at the same time.
There are key differences however such as the black is now more navy blue, the dark top is replaced with a thin white T-shirt and the Denim shorts are no longer so dark a blue, but more like your average denim shorts, except they're quite well…short and refitted to tightly fit my voluptuous body. I grab some amusingly suitable royal blue bra and panties and slip into them before I put on the outfit I selected.
Finishing getting dressed by putting on some running sneakers to fit the more casual look to my outfit and quickly check the time using my Tempest Jewel Ring, I quickly use the bathroom mirror after I broke the full-body one in the room last night to quickly bring my hair back-up into the familiar bun style, mostly because I'm not eager to literally let my hair down in the world I'm in, especially in a CQC world like Dragon Ball, where hair grabbing is potentially an acceptable move in combat.
As I slowly walk out, I notice Mashu has awoken and when she sees me, I merely hold a finger to my soft lips before softly saying "I'll be making us breakfast, so take your time getting ready alright..?" I smile before closing the door behind me, sweatdropping when I hear the sudden commotion that mashu is making, although I'm not surprised considering we're all most definitely eager for some food.
Once I get to the kitchen, I decide to go for some pancakes, both to try out the Faire Feast perk, and some comfort food to help release the tension of last night for me. Once I've finished making the pancakes I notice Grey and Mashu both having rushed through their daily routine to have something to eat.
"Dig in girls, it's pancakes for breakfast" I say with a slightly sly grin, ok there MAY be another reason I made pancakes instead of any OTHER breakfast food, as I amusingly recall a certain Persona User whose downfall can be attributed to these tasty breakfast treats.
The moment I start eating, I realize that not only do the Saiyan traits shine through here for sure, but the notorious Pendragon hunger now hits me like a goddam finger-flick from Beerus himself and I will forever deny that I sounded like a hungry lion as I viciously devour these pancakes I made myself, you can't prove it and that's that.
Regardless, once we're all finished having breakfast, we sit at the table to discuss things.
"So girls, in the next few days, we'll be seeing if we can't find the notable characters that belong to this world, since we need to get on their side before the incoming shitstorm of problems that is the Buu Saga occurs, any questions?" I see the two look at each other before I get the response I should have expected considering they're not a contractor like myself.
"What's the Buu Saga Mistress" Mashu asks innocently, making me realize with a deadpan that I should explain this first.
A compressed summary of the Buu Saga later
"I see, I understand now Mistress" Mashu says, with grey nodding without speaking, noticing that add is nowhere to be seen, I feel the need to ask.." Grey dear, where is Add?" Grey looks confused briefly before she realizes her error and pulls out add from the pocket space she has.
"Hey Hey, look at you blondie, how's the spear rockin–" Grey almost immediately sends add back into the pocket space, knowing neither of us wants to deal with the Cube entity's antics.
I sigh before continuing the conversation "Right, back on point then, we'll need to find at least one of the main cast before things start moving, any ideas..?"
Grey simply responds "if everyone can feel Ki or whatever, why not flare yours and the cast will come to investigate quickly?" her rather simple yet ingenious idea just leaves me speechless before just chuckling softly, knowing that while I've yet to fully come into my own with this new body of mine, I have two very adorable yet very much capable companions, no, family members at my side to support me.
"Very well, let's do exactly that when we leave, it's not like the area we're in isn't just the usual dragon ball brand of wasteland, plains, and caves anyway" With the general idea of how to get the attention of the Z-fighters formed, we clean up the empty plates and exit out of a portal, but not before I grab the company issued smartphone that I finally remember to grab on the kitchen bench before leaving alongside Mashu and Grey.
Outside North City, The Campsite Cave Age 774 Day 2 since the arrival
As we head out of the cave, I decided to test using a Ki blast to ensure the Template stack of one Goku Black at Tier 5 is working at full capacity. I fire a single Ki blast and destroy the cave, rubble coming down from the roof to cave the entire thing in with us starting at the now destroyed cave from the outside.
"Well at least I can be sure I can do that now, right let's try….flight" Almost immediately I use Ki to start flying on the spot, grinning like a kid in a candy store as one of my childhood dreams of flying are now manifest, I remember I gave the same Template stack to the other two as well albeit at Tier 4.
"Come on girls, give it a try!" I encourage as slowly, the two girls at my side muster the courage to try flying with Ki, now hovering in the air alongside me and grinning, eager themselves. We fly off to a suitable Plain nearby in the event a fight occurs and once we land, I take a moment, manifesting the attire I had when I first woke up in this body as the blue battle dress with the cleavage window showing off my deep cleavage forming as leg armor forms up to my thigh and armor forming gauntlet and respective armor up to my shins, I flare my prana, Ki and even unintentionally, Chakra from the Madara Template I also bought, it VERY quickly catches the attention of the Z-fighters, leading them to inevitably investigate, with a lone Vegeta being the first to make it here.
"Hmph, that's all this, I sense a rather impressive power level and I find is the source is a blonde woman in blue, a grey-haired one in grey clothes, and a lavender-haired one that looks a fair bit too meek to be on the battlefield" Vegeta states, scoffing as he slowly floats down to face me eye to eye.
"Prince Vegeta, ah good it's you I encounter first, I was hoping that would be the case" I give a rather eager grin, one that Vegeta matches with his own.
"Is that a challenge I hear woman? Against me, the prince of all Saiyans, a Super Saiyan at that.." Vegeta flares abit of his Ki, wanting to test if I will back down but I merely respond by flaring my Ki, prana, and Chakra again, letting him feel it for himself and finds himself unable to resist, he wants to fight, he wants to see what this "Blonde woman" can do.
Soon the other Z-fighters arrive, and before they can speak, Vegeta speaks to them first "The blonde is mine, I want to see how much of a challenge she is, if the other two women are interested in fighting you can fight them, but since I got here first, this means I get the right to fight first"
Piccolo speaks up, annoyed at the Saiyan prince for trying to take control of the situation simply for a fight. "Vegeta, you don't even know why they're here or for what reason they're challenging you.." Vegeta scowls at Piccolo, but I soon respond to the Namekian by saying "I simply want to test myself, having arrived here with the two members of my family here at my side, I wish to see how strong I am in comparison to the strongest fighter here" This makes Vegeta grin eagerly, his pride now ensuring he will not back out of the fight willingly.
"I hope you don't bore me woman.." He simply says, getting into that Iconic stance of his. I grin and merely get into a simple stance of my own, seconds pass before the battle begins, with both of us zooming right at each other, forearms connecting with enough force that there is a minor localized shockwave before we begin the fight in earnest.
(Shared Perspective)
Piccolo frowns slightly, seeing that Vegeta has the immediate and clear upper hand as they notice Arturia is clearly not yet used to fighting hand to hand, something that Vegeta can see as well but also notices that as the fight continues, she's rapidly getting more and more used to fighting, her stance changing rapidly to a new stance that is more refined than the simple one she used before.
"It's surprising just how quick she's catching up to Vegeta" Son Gohan softly remarks in amazement, seeing that the fight is quickly reaching a status quo before both disengage and Vegeta fires a barrage of Ki blasts at Arturia, who calmly performs a set of hand seals weaved into her memory before simply.."Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!" With the final Half-Tiger Seal as a mere pointer, Arturia bellows out a massive fireball that goes right through Vegeta's Ki blasts, forcing him to dodge rapidly, grinning as while he was spooked by the unusual technique and the strange energy that it used, he noticed a flaw to the technique, the use of a hand seal itself being a sign of what Arturia is about to do.
"I'm impressed woman, even so, such unusual techniques clearly have weaknesses, such as those silly hand signs you did just now" This makes Arturia grimace as she realizes she revealed such a crucial weakness too early even so it's too late to worry about that now as she fires her own Ki-blasts to try and catch Vegeta off guard, who flies around before charging a very familiar purple technique
Piccolo realizes that Vegeta is already escalating things and immediately gets everyone, even the other members of the "Pendragon Family" to leave the area before they get caught in the resulting destruction.
As for Arturia, she can't help but grin, as she gets into a familiar stance of her own, black energy surging as Vegeta's eyes widen realizing that is some unusual version of Goku's Kamehameha, as for how the blonde knows it, he doesn't care right now, only that the fight continues.
"GALLICK GUN!" The massive purple beam rushes forward to strike Arturia who looks like she's having the time of her life before she simply unleashes the black Kamehameha, the two techniques colliding violently as the inevitable beam struggle begins, with Vegeta powering up to Super Saiyan at long last to end the fight.
"You have fought well woman, but you are no match, FOR A SUPER SAIYAN!" The purple beam starts to win the beam struggle, but despite everything, the smile on Arturia's face has not faded one bit as she reveals one more trump card…
"You say that as if you're not fighting one yourself…" While stunning Vegeta momentarily, Arturia finally unleashes the Super Saiyan form granted by the Goku Black Template Stack, the blonde hairbun becoming golden and coming completely undone from the hair bun itself, releasing the long flowing golden locks as Vegeta and the rest of the Z-fighters are forced to witness the revelations of another Super Saiyan on earth.
Arturia's black Kamehameha immediately starts to win the beam struggle, almost completely overpowering Vegeta's Gallick Gun, before he does something completely unpredictable even to Arturia herself.
He suddenly exits the beam struggle and lets the black beam roar past him as he rushes to Arturia, who gets momentarily flashbacks of what will happen in the future, where Goku in the Incomplete Ultra instinct uses a similar albeit much more flashy version of this same maneuver before Vegeta blasts the distracted Arturia with one last Gallick Gun, ending the fight as her armor and her body received too much sudden damage to continue the fight.
Vegeta scoffs and powers down from Super Saiyan before pointing at Piccolo. "Namekian, get Blondie a Senzu bean, I want answers on how exactly she became a Super Saiyan..no.. how she gained the power of a Saiyan in the first place, especially one that feels so much like Kakarot.."
Piccolo merely nods before flying off to get some Senzu Beans while Mashu and Grey watch over the unconscious Arturia.
Hours Later
(Arturia's P.O.V)
I moan in pain as I slowly come to, seeing Vegeta watching me, Mashu and grey as Piccolo walks over holding a Senzu-bean.
"Eat this, It will help you recover your strength." While Inexhaustible ensures I will never run out of energy reserves, injuries ARE another story, so I gratefully take the offered Senzu Bean and down it in one go.
"Now then Blondie, you will tell us how you can use the power only a Saiyan can achieve, am I clear..?" While I do have the option to refuse, if I want to get any sort of trust from the Z-fighters I need to give something of an explanation.
"I was….gifted these abilities, by a third party, as for who they are, I can only say they're of a higher power than most will ever know" While this does put off most of the Z-fighters, Vegeta himself has another reaction, remembering that the only thing that could fit in HIS mind, is Lord Beerus himself, as to why he doesn't question, only really recalling Beerus now due to it fitting the explanation and what little he does remember isn't enough to give him answers only the god of destruction himself could ever answer.
As Vegeta soon starts to explain about Beerus, I'm relieved as this will buy me time to get a much better cover story, so I go along with it for now with the Z-fighters now accepting this momentary explanation.
However, my relief comes crashing down when Vegeta then immediately follows up by saying "While you have the power of a Saiyan, it's clear you need training, and since I'm the prince of all Saiyans, it's only right that I train you in how to properly use this power, be grateful blondie..now what's your name"
I grit my teeth, now starting to get annoyed at being called blondie a lot "It's Arturia Morgana Pendragon" To which Vegeta merely scoffs at such a long name. "In that case, until I say otherwise, I will keep calling you blondie, either that or you manage to beat me in a fight"
I am angry, but wisely keep my mouth shut, knowing that being trained by Vegeta directly, with the Buu Saga fast approaching will be a massive boon to my overall plans to deal with the Buu Saga itself.
"Then I submit to your teachings in regards to the power of Super Saiyan, Master Vegeta" I say in a begrudgingly respectful tone, to which Vegeta grins. Things very quickly get worked out between the Z-fighters and I soon find myself following Vegeta to Capsule Corp, with Mashu and Grey following behind me.
Oh well, at least I'll be able to talk with Bulma, I have…ideas I want to talk to her regarding the feasibility of..
Author's Note
Those who read last chapter, thinking that point past waking up in the Dragon Ball world is rushed, I hope that you now see why I wrote it like that.
It was only inevitable to eventually come to fully understand that one has died and now has lost everything, for some, it won't happen immediately hence the delayed response of grief. The Supernatural beginning and unusual way things happened certainly helped delay the breakdown for a while, but it was always going to happen, it was just a matter of when. After all, when all your dreams come true, there is always usually a price to be paid in making that dream a reality.
As for the Fight Between Arturia (Me) and Vegeta, I hope that while I am admittedly VERY inexperienced in writing fight scenes, I hope what I have managed to write is at least satisfactory in this regard, as short as it was. Some may ask why Arturia didn't use Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, or any more of Madara's Jutsu. The reason being that it was not intended for it to be a fight to the death on either side, just a match to test each other, one that quickly ended once Arturia revealed the Super Saiyan state she has access to, leading to Vegeta pulling off that Ultra Instinct-like move albeit, with a lot less style and cleanness. If Goku's Ultra Instinct move against Kelfa was akin to side-stepping an incoming bullet train, then what Vegeta did was more akin to slowing the train down by brute force and then getting out of the way before rushing at the track conductor.
So while yes I have the power, knowledge and instincts to pull a win, I lack something vital to actually make it all come together.
Actual fighting experience.
The templates stacks only really give powers, knowledge and proper muscle memory to ensure it all works. It completely lacks actual experience needed to make it work at full strength, meaning for Arturia to actually win, she'd need to have won a fair few fights already, but she didn't do that because simply, she needed to see where she was regarding the rest of the Z-fighters, yes technically Gohan arguably stronger than Vegeta, training under Vegeta serves another purpose, acting as a potential counter-weight to Babdi's mind control, as within canon it is said that Vegeta fell due to several long years of unfinished business regarding his fight between him and Goku. Arturia's plan is to effectively give him something else to focus on beyond merely training by throwing in the revelation of another Super Saiyan.
With this chapter, I'll be slowing down the chapter speed drastically, now that I have gotten a fair bit of chapter content out, so please bear with me.
