Alejandro was not expecting to find what he found in the Spa Hotel.
Not only did he make it to the editing room to see how Chris knows all, but he also found a new video.
It was apparently known as Mal's Greatest Hits. Turns out Mike had been keeping a secret personality in his mind the whole time.
Alejandro was absolutely baffled Mike never told anyone this, but at the same time, he could understand the boy's point of view. It would be horrifying to have that kind of personality in your brain when it's not even the real you.
Thankfully he was able to stop Mal from framing him for rigging the votes on Cameron who had just been recently eliminated, but even then, he was curious on what Mal had done, hoping to figure out what to use against him.
As he watched the footage of Mal causing havoc, suddenly the video showed the real Mike lugging a giant rock over his head, "I have to protect Zoey, at all costs."
He then dropped the boulder on his head, much to Alejandro's horror. Did he just try to harm himself?!
Alejandro soon watched as Mike rose back up, but as Mal who was evilly laughing at this new development.
"Bravo Mike." Mal rubbed his hands together sinisterly, "That should keep him quiet for a while."
Soon Mal straightened his hair to look like Mike before doing an insulting Mike impression.
Alejandro was horrified, what was Mike hoping to accomplish with that?
Given the boulder didn't cause any life threatening injuries, it was safe to assume Mike wasn't trying to do the unthinkable, that Alejandro was sure of, but was Mal that bad that he had to resort to that?
Soon another video began to play and Mike or Mal or whoever was shown to be in the confessional, Alejandro couldn't really tell at this point, the hair was straight up.
"Hi." The lanky teen waved sadly, Alejandro was assuming it was Mike then, all Mal seemed to feel was sadism and elation, "It's me, Mike. Mal decided to let me have control one last time to say goodbye. He's pretty much in control of this body right now so I don't think I'll be getting out. Dad, I'm sorry I couldn't stop him, I hope you'll be able to power through without me. Sam, I'm sorry about what happened to your GameGuy, I know Mal broke it and I hope you and Dakota are happy. Brick, we may not have hung out much, but you were a good friend. Anne Maria, I'm sorry things didn't work out between you and Vito."
Alejandro figured Brick and Anne Maria were contestants from season four, he didn't really know who they were, he was in a robot suit at the time.
"Cameron, you've been my best friend since the show began, thank you for all your help." Mike said, starting to get teary eyed. Alejandro felt more and more sympathy for Mike, for all he knew, this was the last time he was even going to be able to talk to them. Even if he eventually broke free from Mal, which was a very good chance since personalities can't disappear and Mike was the original, Mike might not be able to see him again because of Mal.
"And finally, Zoey." Mike finally let the tears flow, "I'm so sorry! I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Mal sooner, I wish I could do this in person but Mal won't let me. Zoey, I love you and I know you do too. Just please try to move on without me. It's doubtful that I'll see you again, so just please don't cling onto someone who you will likely never see again. I can't ask you to stop loving me since that's impossible, but Zoey. I'll miss you."
Suddenly Mike gasped and turned back to Mal who looked disgusted at the tears on his face, "Blegh. How dare Mike contaminate this body with tears. He's such a wimp."
Alejandro was aghast at Mal's actions, at first he just thought Mal was some troublemaker Mike was unfortunate to live with but from what he just saw, Mike's chances of coming back were very slim and he had the nerve to insult him! That's just horrible!
"Anyway, I hope Mike said his goodbyes to any morons who are actually idiotic enough to like him because now I'M in charge." Mal smirked villainously, "Don't worry Mike. I'll take care of Zoey and Cameron." He then snickered malevolently and that's when Alejandro had to stop the DVD. He could not stand to watch anymore of this horror show.
Alejandro rarely felt sympathy, he did have his regrets like letting Cody fall into shark infested waters, heck he even felt bad for Sierra's plane accident but he hardly felt sympathy.
Today, Mike's earned his sympathy. Being forced to live with Mal in his head, and now being trapped in his own body. That sounds terrible.
Alejandro had his fair share of sins in the past, but none of them have ever come close to what he just saw. Mal was a monster, and he clearly intended on harming people, not for the game but for the sheer joy of it.
Suddenly he heard footsteps enter the editing room and saw it was Scott. Oh right. Alejandro had invited him here to hopefully get on his good side.
"What are you doing here Al?" Scott asked in confusion, "I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be here. Up to your schemes as usual?"
Alejandro cringed at the nickname before speaking up, "I apologize Scott. I had just found this room today and…"
He stopped, he wasn't sure if he could trust Scott with this new information. He had also been a villain before and he was said to have some beef with Mike.
Then again, Alejandro is also a villain in a way.
"And what?! Are you hiding something?" Scott asked suspiciously.
Alejandro soon took the DVD and put it in its case and handed it to Scott, "Here. Play this DVD, it will show you everything you need to know. Keep this a secret or not, I don't care. Just make sure this is kept away from Mike at all costs."
Scott took the DVD case and read it, "Mal's greatest hits? What's this got to do with Mike?"
"Just play the DVD for yourself. It will explain everything." Alejandro explained before walking off, with Scott looking confused.
Alejandro could have stayed to watch the DVD with Scott, but he could not bear to rewatch what he just saw. He wasn't close to Mike whatsoever but anybody who had to suffer that kind of pain just made him feel sick.
He wasn't sure what Scott was going to do with that DVD after he was done with it but Alejandro trusted him enough to feel that Scott will surely be against Mal after this.
He didn't care for people much, but he knew for the sake of everyone's safety he needed to get Mal off this island.
Author's Note: I figured I should give Alejandro a good portrayal this time. Given how different he is from Mal, I felt it was warranted he'd react the way he did.
