Over the next couple of days all of the news channels were covering the Undertaking and trying to figure out what Merlyn had been up to. It seemed that no one could believe that one of the beloved citizens of Starling City was trying to destroy a part of it. There was a lot of backlash against anything to do with Malcolm Merlyn. That included Tommy, who was now moving into the Queen Mansion so that he had security to guard him and also so that he wasn't on his own to think about what his father was going to do. Laurel was there visiting and she was talking to Thea about Tommy.

"I feel sorry for Tommy. I know that we are doing all that we can for him, but I hate the fact that everyone has turned on him." Laurel said.

"I know. It is better than the alternative that happened in the past though." Thea said.

"What do you mean?" Laurel asked.

"Last time the Undertaking took out half of the Glades and Tommy died trying to help someone." Thea said.

"Who was he trying to help?" Laurel asked.

"You. You were trapped in CNRI and he came in and saved you, but the building collapsed on top of him. Ollie got there too late. He was there when Tommy died. He went back to the island and stayed there until Dig went and got him back. You were devastated by what happened and you turned to drugs and booze. You got yourself straight though and became the Black Canary after a while." Thea said.

"Wow! Maybe I should give up alcohol if you know that it is possible for me to go down that road." Laurel said.

"It wouldn't be the worst idea. We need to start working on your dad too. He actually became quite the ally in the future." Thea said.

"Dad worked with all of us in the future. I can't see that happening." Laurel said.

"It took a while, but he finally realized that we were the good guys." Thea said.

"Good. So, what else happened?" Laurel said.

"I did some stupid shit and decided I wanted a life away from here with Roy and I left Ollie behind. I wouldn't change going with Roy, but I would like to change leaving Ollie. He could have used me in the end. He could have used all of us and none of us were there for him." Thea said.

"Well, we will do better this time around. Anything I should know about Ollie so that I don't get blindsided?" Laurel asked.

Thea smiled and chucked and Laurel just shook her head. Of course there would be something.

"Don't get mad, but Ollie has a son. His name is William. He lives in Central City." Thea said with a smile, because she loved William.

"Who is the mother?" Laurel asked, a bit upset but willing to hear Thea out.

"Samantha Clayton. She and Ollie got drunk one night and she got pregnant. Nothing else happened between them. I have to keep Ollie away from him for now though. William ended up being drug into all of this because some of the bad guys found out about him and tried to use him against Ollie. We can't let that happen." Thea said.

"No, we can't. I know Ollie is a better man now, but I can't say that I am not upset about this. I still love him though, so I will look past it. I just hope he won't do that again." Laurel said.

"He won't. He is a one woman type of man now. Trust me. He never cheated on anyone once he got back from the island." Thea said.

"That is good to know. Thanks. Anything else?" Laurel asked.

"Ollie has another sister." Thea said.

"What?!" Laurel asked in surprise.

"Yeah, she is like a couple of years younger than he is. He found out about it in the future. She ended up being one of the bad guys, but she changed sides in the end when her people betrayed her. I met her at Ollie's funeral. I think she and I would have been good friends if I hadn't come back in time. I need to tell Ollie about her and then maybe both of us can go and talk to her." Thea said.

"That would be nice of both of you. Why did you become a bad guy?" Laurel asked.

"She was mad at dad for disowning her and this guy who was part of the Ninth Circle which is a terrorist organization took her in and everything just went bad from there." Thea said and Laurel nodded.

"Anything else I should know about your crazy family?" Laurel asked with a smile and Thea smiled back at her.

"Well, Ollie and I are only half-siblings." Thea said.

"What?" Laurel said surprised again.

"Yeah, that is why I said Ollie has a sister, because she is not technically my sister." Thea said.

"Well, if this girl was Robert's daughter then that means that you are your mother's daughter. Who is your father?" Laurel asked.

"That is one thing that I really hated about my old life. I mean I love my other brother and I wouldn't give him up for anything, but my father is a piece of shit." Thea said.

"So, you have another brother? Who is he? Do I know him?" Laurel asked.

"Very well." Thea said as she looked into the other room where Tommy was sitting.

"You have got to be shitting me. Malcolm is your father?" Laurel asked.

"Unfortunately. I am having nothing to do with him this time around though. He messed my life up enough last time around. I hope he rots in prison for the rest of his life." Thea said.

"Yeah, I hope so too. You know that Robert was really your father though right? He raised you." Laurel said.

"Yeah I know. Ollie and I talked about that the last time I saw him in the future. We talked about what mom and dad would have thought about our lives and we decided that they both probably would have been proud of us." Thea said.

"I am sure they would have been." Laurel said as she smiled at her younger friend and they kept talking for a while until Laurel decided to go home for the night.
