Read and review, would love to know what you're thinking.

Why am I so confused? What the hell just happened? Oh passed out, that sounds right. It can't have been for too long, maybe a few seconds, because when I came to I was on the ground looking up at 3 worried faces.

"Rose?" Lissa was the first to speak.

My stomach wasn't having any of it, I crawled away and started heaving my guts up. That horrible feeling when you don't have anything in your stomach so you're just gasping for breath. I could feel Lissa worrying through the bond, so she can care about someone else at the moment, that's nice. My bitter thoughts were interrupted by Christian.

"Rose, when was the last time you had actual food?"

My silence must have been enough of an answer for him because he didn't push any further. When I was finally able to breathe again I turned around, finally I briefly looked towards Dimitri. He looked like he wanted to say something but thought better of it. I didn't want his pity, I didn't want him to see me falling apart like this.

I must have been staring a little too long because Christian was trying to get my attention. "Rose, we're going to get you checked ou-"

"No!" I cut him off before he could finish.

"I'm fine, I just need to sleep it off."

"Obviously not Rosie, maybe you should just make sure you haven't caught a bug."

I rolled my eyes at him, everyone knows Damphirs rarely get sick.

"I'm fine, really." As I tried to get up, my body thought it would mock me because I stumbled from the dizziness. That wasn't the worst part, it was who I'd collapsed into, thank you universe. Damn I'd missed these arms, looking up I'd felt Dimitri tense once again. Am I that repulsive? I pushed myself away from him but my legs didn't help things.

"Sorry Guardian, Belikov."

"Rose we're going to the doctor."

"Dimitri, do you mind taking Rose to the infirmary, please?" It was my turn to flinch.

"I can go by myself!"

"Roza, just listen for once!" I flinched at the name and he stopped when he realised what he'd said.

"Oh it speaks!"

"Rose.." Lissa warned.

"Don't, I'm fine and I sure as hell don't need his help."

For once and for all, I willed my legs to work and slowly walked towards the infirmary, leaving everyone behind, or so I'd thought.

"Rose wait up!"

"Sparky."

I could feel confusion turn to jealousy from the bond but I didn't look back, to make it worse I just wrapped one of my arms around Christians back as we headed to the infirmary.

When we'd reached our destination I didn't recognise anybody there, then a nurse came out and brought us into the doctor.

"I can wait outside Rose."

"It's okay, I don't have anything to hide Sparky."

Just then as we walked in we were greeted by a young Damphir woman, the doctor I assumed.

"Hi, my name is Dr Linda, Rosemarie Hathaway, what can I do for you?" Everyone's heard of me then.

I sat and explained everything, from blacking out, the sickness, headaches, it took a while, but she listened intently.

"Honestly Rose, it sounds like dehydration, not eating hasn't helped you much either. You need to focus on yourself for a bit. I will take bloods just in case we've missed something, but firstly we'll run the blood while we administer fluids."

Here I am an hour later, I was able to keep a sandwich down so that was a bonus. I'd tried to get Christian to leave so he wasn't bored to death but he insisted on staying. It was nice to have someone that cared I suppose.

Just then the doctor walked in with a look on her face.

"Rose do you mind if we talk in private?" Christian went to get up but I stopped him. "It's okay, doctor whatever you have to say can be said in front of him, I trust him.

I think by the look on his face that shocked both him and myself.

"Am I to assume he's your partner?" I couldn't help but burst into laughter, what a thought.

"No, definitely not, just a friend, what's up doc?" For a second I'd felt like my old self, how nice it was to laugh. That was wiped right off my face in the next breath.

"Rose, while yes you were very dehydrated, it wasn't the only thing we found. Rose you're pregnant, your levels indicate you're quite the way through but you really need to start looking after yourself."

I burst out laughing. Christian looked at me like I was going insane and wondering if he should call Adrian.

"Rose do you want me to go get Adrian?"

"Why would you do that? Obviously she's joking."

The doctor then thought to interject, "Rose what do you mean, I'm not pranking you, why would you think that?"

"Because I've only had sex with one person and he was a Damphir/Strigoi/Damphir so definitely not pregnant, plus wouldn't I be able to see something by now."

The doctor looked shocked until she realised I was serious. It was then that I think I went into panic mode. She was joking right? There's no way I could be pregnant, I mean some pretty crazy stuff has happened in the past few months but a Damphir/ Damphir pregnancy was completely unheard of. Well so was restoring a Strigoi Rose, my thoughts were going crazy and I started to panic.

"Rose calm down."

"Calm down! How the hell is this even possible?! Calm down! The father of my apparent child won't even look me in the eye. How on earth will he believe we made a baby? I can't tell him, and neither can you, promise me Christian."

I was borderline hysterical and he didn't know what to do.

"Rose…"

"Promise me!"

"I promise."

"That goes for Lissa too, no one Christian, not until I work out what the hell is going on or what to do."

"Okay but Rose you'll have to tell him eventually."

It was only then that I'd noticed the doctor was no where to be found until she popped her head back in. How long was she gone?

We've just run a few more tests to analyse the DNA of the baby. I honestly didn't hear anything else she said, it looked like Christian was listening though. All I could hear over and over in my head was 'baby, Dimitri, baby, Dimitri. I started to panic and my breathing went crazy.

"Rose you have to calm down, this can't be good for the baby."

Oh God, 18 and pregnant. To my former lover/mentor/captor/love of my pathetic life. What am I supposed to do now?

"Can I go now, I need some air?"

"We'd prefer you'd stay overnight for observation and until we get the results back?" Dr Linda argued.

"Can I at least go for a walk and come back, I need to breathe?"

"Okay but if you don't come back to get some sleep in the next hour, I'm coming to look for you, deal?."

"Deal."

I bolted for the door, where was this energy a couple of hours ago? Christian was hot on my tail.

For the next hour I just let all of my emotion out until I couldn't cry anymore. At least I had a reason for the crying now.

We walked back to the infirmary in silence, I honestly don't think either of us knew what to say.

"Get some sleep Rose, I'm here for you if you need it." Christian offered as he walked out of the room.

I tried to shut off my mind and eventually the exhaustion won and I drifted off to sleep.
