"We were just talking about you." Lucas said. With a smile.
"This macaroni and cheese sucks."
"Instead of making me a new bowl. They gave me free appetizers. We should just do a variety. Everyone pick something delicious." Haley stated matter of fact. As she sat down beside Nathan.
Rachel smiled back at Lucas.
"Brooke and I were talking about you."
"And i'm free to hang out whenever." Rachel replied.
"We should order drinks. Waiter or waitress."
"Hello!" Brooke exclaimed.
Awhile Later
The friend group eventually made their way over to Tric.
"Nathan and I need a night alone. Would you want to have Jamie and Lydia over for a night this week.?" Haley asked.
"Yeah. Sure. I love my god kids." Brooke replied.
Haley looked to Brooke then over at Rachel and Lucas who were in a corner by themselves.
"I was thinking of painting my body blue and dancing around like a robot at the river walk. What do you think.?" Haley asked.
"Yeah sure. You are very gifted. I would have a front row seat." Brooke replied.
"You have feelings for him don't you.?" Haley questioned.
"Lucas and emotional investment should be so high school."
"But i just. I love him"
"I loved him back then. I love him now." Brooke admitted.
"Then say something." Haley insisted.
Brooke felt her stomach flip. Watching Rachel and Lucas kiss

Peyton had driven by Lucas's house. After not finding his car. She drove over to Karen's.
She parked in the street. Got out of her car.
Walked up the stairs and bawled up her fist.
She knocked three times.
The front door opened in front of her slowly.
"Momma!" Ellison exclaimed happily.
Engulfing his mom in a big hug.
