Lincoln didn't know what to expect when the girls called for him to come to Lynn Jr and Lisa's room but Luan said that "I am DEAD serious; you are going to love us for this!" Lincoln was a bit scared but came into the room (it wasn't just being freaked out by the bats but that sure didn't help) with the girls besides Luna and Lisa gathered together around Lucy with a crystal ball.

Even Lori was sitting there albeit with her arms folded and she told Lincoln "don't ask me how I got roped into this because I don't even know!"

Lucy then explained that she uses the crystal ball to communicate with spirits; mainly the spirit of the Louds' deceased mother and their great grandmother Harriet. "You're mother is dead; sorry to hear about that..." Lincoln said weakly and even Lori looked sad at this.

"Don't be; Mum is with us in spirit and I use this to keep her up to date on wht is going on with the family. She was happy that Dad was moving on and I think she would want a chance to talk to you. Plus we have a new Mum now." Lucy explained and Lori didn't know if this actually worked (Lincoln being more open as a believer in the paranormal and ghosts) as they said but kept watching, the Louds smiled as Lucy mentioned about them having a new mother. "We gathered you both today because we figured that we could make you more at home here by giving you the chance to speak to your late father just as we do our mother." Lucy finished with the others and the Lymans blinked and looked towards eachother.

"You want to tell them or should I?" Lori whispered to Lincoln as he sighed.

"That's thoughtful but it won't work... You see we talk to our dad plenty... He comes and see us and we go to see him." Lincoln explained and they blinked.

"Wait; is he like a zombie and you go and visit him at the graveyard?" Leni asked looking scared and the Lymans sighed.

"No Lori; what Lincoln means is that our dad isn't dead. Our parents are divorced." Lori finally explained as their mouths were wide open.

"So you have your dad and our dad? What do you call him?" Leni asked and the Lymans sighed.

"Dad." Lincoln said simply hoping that this didn't become awkward.

"Well if he came over; what would you call him? You know with him and Dad around?" Lynn asked and Lori sighed as she got up ready to leave along with Lincoln as well.

"Still 'Dad'; he never stopped being our dad when our parents broke the news of the divorce to us and he certainly didn't stop when we moved in here. Now this was a thoughtful idea but we must go!" Lori said leaving with Lincoln and they heard Luna calling for Lincoln excitedly downstairs. "Well this certainly keeps getting better and better!" Lori muttered as she joined Lincoln going downstairs and there was Luna right at Lincoln.

"Lincoln brah; my best friend Sam and I have got concert tickets along with an extra one so how about you come with us to see SMOOCH?" Luna asked and Lincoln instantly got excited.

"SMOOCH? Off course; I love SMOOCH! Going to see them was my first concert; I remember the shirt cannon and never thought dad was able to jump that high!" Lincoln said excitedly but Lori looked sceptical. The Loud girls went to the stairs upon hearing about concerns and felt relieved that Luna wouldn't be seeing this as a 'first concert' for Lincoln.

"Lincoln; I am alright with you going to concerts but with her? The girl who I think should be billed for any procedure that may have to be done to my ears on my next doctor's appointment?" Lori said with Lincoln pleading and Luna not wanting Lori to ruin this.

"Lori: I am sure that Luna can be trusted to look after Lincoln. I mean it's not like Luna has gotten into trouble at concerts?" Rita put in having watched and then asked Lynn Sr with her eyes telling him to answer honestly.

"Nothing of the sort; she can be counted on to get home safely and on the agreed time which is more than what I can say about her coming home late from playing with her band!" Lynn Sr answered with a bit of a glare to a nervous looking Lori.

"Wow; you are capable of disciplining your daughters... I am impressed!" Lori commented and Lynn Sr had a look of glee upon the praise and Rita decided not to ruin the moment for him by bringing up how it wasn't entirely a compliment. "I will be checking but as long as nothing goes bad; I see no problem with this." Lori admitted and Lincoln was excited along with Luna.

On the day with Lincoln and Luna out on the concert; Lori was reading a fashion magazine with Leni in the room. "Isn't it great that Lincoln and Luna are bonding like we do as roommates?" Leni asked and Lori sighed as she gave a nod; she wouldn't exactly say the two of them bonded but despite her idiocy Leni ranked pretty low on the annoyance chart of the Loud sisters and she did know her fashion. Leni sighed and asked Lori "Lori; this sounds super personal but... I was wondering... Why did your parents decide to get divorced?"

Lori blinked at what was a personal question and debated with herself but just sighed; "The truth Leni is that sadly there are marriages not meant to last: sometimes people change, someone isn't who they appeared to be and there are just problems that can't be fixed. Just life but my parents actually do get on great." Lori answered as Leni took it in.

"I remember how sad I was when Mum died; would it be like when you got the news when your parents got divorced?" Leni asked and Lori stopped and sighed some more.

"I... Managed to take it well enough in due time..." Lori admitted keeping quiet about how Lincoln had trouble handling it; beginning to ask Lori if she was just going to stop being his sister and their parents stop being their parents if they could just stop being married to eachother.

Took some reassuring and one last big family trip together to this pizza/arcade animatronics place where Lori saw the claw machine when the two Lyman kids went to check out the machines and decided to win a prize for Lincoln which helped cheer him up. That's how Lincoln got Bun-Bun and became special to him; being reassured when he thought his family was just over with.

Off course Lori would never admit to him the full story...

"You... Stupid... Grabbing thing machine... You think you are so much better than me... Sucking up my quarters... I don't care how times it takes me; you are picking up that stupid rabbit and putting him in the hole so I can give him to Lincoln!" 13 year old Lori snapped as she put in another quarter to the machine to take another go after so many countless tries. "VICTORY! HUMANS BEAT MACHINE! PERSEVERENCE PULLS OFF!" Lori cheered as she went to find Lincoln to give him this surprise.

Another stressful day and Lori fought back some sort of mutant creature coming from Lisa's room; "I thought you were still supposed to be grounded from your experiments!" Lori shouted and Lynn Sr looked sheepish.

"Well... I decided to end it early after some good behaviour..." Lynn Sr admitted as Lori slapped her head in agitation and Rita glared at him.

Through the door came in Luna, Sam and Lincoln wearing a SMOOCH shirt with Lori instantly going to check on him to make sure he was alright. "This must be Lori and I thought that she was Lincoln's sister and not his mum..." Sam commented with Luna and Lincoln snickering and Lori humphed.

Rita asked how it went on and Lincoln excitedly said "It was fun and Luna did this cool stage dive; plus Sam was cool able to do all of Pucker's dance moves!"

"Glad you had fun Lincoln and there could be at least one of them can be trusted to look after you." Lori said and there were glares from the other sisters.

"You think it can be my turn to spend time with Lincoln tomorrow? I have thought of another way to get Lincoln to learn to play football!" Lynn Jr asked and Lori glared at her and Lincoln gulped.

"I will be taking my cue to leave; thank you all and take care Lincoln... No really as it looks like you need to..." Sam said with a wave as she left.
