Author's Note: Hello everyone, here we are with the next chapter. Please read and review generously. I hope you all enjoy it. I thank you all for your reviews and your favorites. It all helps. I am so humbled by the positive reception to the story.

This next chapter is about Naruto and Daenys The Dreamer. Of course, the two are not going to immediately marry and bang in one chapter. That will take more than one chapter. And yes, Naruto is none's puppet or simp. He is his own man and will do what he feels is right. Daenys will surprise him in her own way.

Now, some have asked about what direction this story will take. For now, I might have the story end by Jaehaerys The First's coronation. Yet, that is up in the air right now. I will leave it up to you to offer ideas as to where this story should end, as one of my stories will already have the Night King later on.

Without further ado, let us begin.

Chapter Seven- My love for you is pure

The visit of Uzumaki Naruto to the island of Dragonstone had sent shockwaves through the island. Naruto was politely told by the scared guards and handmaidens to have a seat in the garden as they would bring him a meal and drink. They were scared of his literal presence. They could not believe that someone like him could exist in reality. Naruto's very existence and his walking on water defied belief.

There were rumors and whispers going on throughout Dragonstone. Some said he was a freak, an abomination, an insult to the Seven. Some said he was an agent of the Seven, their chosen champion sent to protect and help people during these trying times. Some said his very existence upset the balance of nature.

Naruto paid no attention to any of these thoughts. He was no God, no supernatural being or some higher plane of existence type of material. All he was at his core was a good man who wanted peace and to help people. And, he was a bit of a prankster. His goal was peace and he would do whatever he could to find it. Sure, he had special abilities and gifts and he could live for centuries if he wanted. Yet, in the end, he was human. He would die one day and he was fine with that. He never desired nor wished to live forever. And he hoped that when his time came, he would have lots of stories to share with his friends and loved ones.

While Naruto was sitting in the garden wearing new clothes that felt far too stuffy and regal for his tastes, he could see his chakra having an effect on the nature in the garden. The birds were happily perched on his shoulder, and the dragons were trilling and roaring. The dragons littered the ground, and many were simply hovering and went flying around the island.

There were hundreds of dragons on the island and this scared everyone. The people on Dragonstone wondered how Westeros would view all of this. They were sure the presence of hundreds of dragons and a giant flaming man walking on water was not going to go over well with anyone. Alas, things would just have to play out.

While Naruto was sitting and admiring nature, a scared handmaiden brought him a meal and drink and called him lord. Naruto shook his head but responded with thanks for the meal. The rest of the handmaidens stole gave him interesting, lustful glances which made Naruto simply smile at them.

His first appearance on Dragonstone as a naked, muscular man had sent shockwaves through the island. Those maidens eyes were drawn to his stomach that they so desperately wanted to touch his chest that they wanted to run their hands over. Naruto shook his head. There was only one woman that he ever cared for in life, and she cared for him very deeply. He wished they could have been together… but maybe it was better to not speak of paths that he was unable to take. Perhaps in the afterlife, he could apologize to Hinata.

He shook his head as he returned to his meal. Daenys the Dreamer had been so desperate to meet him and had invaded his mind to get him to meet her. He hoped this meeting would be a fruitful one, and not a foolish one. And if this meeting smelled bad, he would leave and warn them to never find him again. He was no one's puppet, and no one's weapon, and he was not a tool to be unleashed by anyone.

He was his own man and the master of his fate and destiny. Yet, even he was curious as to what Daenys wanted with him. He hoped that it was something good and not something horrible.

"Of all the things you have done daughter… now you have crossed a line. What were you thinking, bringing that man here? Do you have any idea what you have done?"

Aenar Targaryen was pacing his study, with his wife by his side, as his daughter had an apologetic, yet firm look on her face. Ever since his daughter had her dream, their lives had changed forever. He never wanted to leave Valyria… and yet, his daughter begged him to do so.

He chose to listen to his daughter… and he did not regret it. His daughter's gifts had saved the Targaryens and allowed them to flourish on Dragonstone. They were left alone by Westeros. Yet, this new situation was a different matter entirely.

This man, this Naruto had defied all sense of belief and conventions about the world. He could walk on water and transform into some titanic flaming giant. Not to mention the scores of hundreds of dragons that had come with him to Dragonstone; this was not looking good.

Aenar did not desire any sort of headaches and he was worried about his daughter. The robed cunts known as the Maesters of Oldtown were a very smug bunch of people that rubbed him the wrong way. And he was sure they were up to no good. Magic had returned to Westeros in some way, and he was sure the Faith would take notice. He was the Blood of the Dragon and he cowed to no one, yet this was a matter that he could not take lightly.

This blonde man's very appearance and existence challenged everything about what the realms knew about power, strength, might. He was sure there would be people out there who would try to tame this man and desire his strength for their own uses.

And now his daughter was involved in this matter. He noticed his daughter growing obsessed with prophecy, muttering about some strange threat deep within the Northern Kingdoms. He also noticed her obsession looking through the glass candle, searching for more knowledge about this man. It had worried him and her mother greatly. All he wanted was for her and the rest of his family to be safe. Yet, he should have known that leaving Valyria and surviving the Doom meant that life was never to be the same for him and his family ever again.

His daughter stood proudly in front of him. Though she was of smaller stature, she refused to be cowed and stood proudly with defiance and a simple smile on her face. Aenar shook his head and sighed as his daughter spoke.

"Father… I know you are worried about that man. You do not need to worry. He is not an enemy, he is an ally and my friend. I trust him. Please… I want you to trust me and my judgement."

Aenar banged his fist on the table. "You demand too much of me daughter!"

Daenys had never seen her father react this way before.

"I am proud of your gift, your ability to see dreams. It is because of this gift that we escaped Valyria and did not end up as another casualty of the Doom. Yet, this is another matter entirely."

"You have been spending time crafting journal entries and obsessing over a man who by all accounts is an uncontrollable and unexplainable entity. I have heard the rumors and the stories of this man. His power and existence defies belief. And then there is your obsession with the North…"

Aenar approached and held her shoulders. "Tell me, child. What is it you will not tell me?"

Daenys shook away his hands, clearly wanting to end this conversation. "Father… I can't talk about it. I can't tell you this. I just need you too trust me…"

Aenar was angry now. "You expect me to trust you when you cannot share your secrets with me. Secrets have a horrible way of coming out and the damage they can do is something you still cannot understand. Everyone keeps secrets and that is not a good thing. Daenys… I follow your every whim…"

Daenys interrupted him. "Father… you don't believe in all my dreams…"

Aenar then interrupted her. "And yet still I follow you! What matters to me is that my child is safe. I have already lost Gaemon, I do not wish to lose my daughter."

Daenys closed her eyes in pain. She missed her husband as well, but her father was not looking at the bigger picture.

"I miss Gaemon too. Yet, you are missing the bigger picture father. My safety is not all that matters. The safety of House Targaryen matters. Who will keep you safe?"

Aenar scoffed. "Sweetling, I do not need you to protect me. It is the other way around. I do not want to bury another child. This duty of yours, this obsession towards the North, I am worried about you daughter."

Daenys gave her father a hug and shed a tear as father and daughter held each other, worried about one another. And as they parted, Daenys wiped her tears as well as her father's. It always astonished Aenar how his daughter could show much steel and emotion, and how she could always understand him and was not dismissive of his worries.

"I understand you are worried, father. I truly do. I just need you to trust me. There is great evil in Westeros. There is an evil that you cannot understand father, and one day it will come for Westeros itself. It will begin with a great terrible winter. All of Westeros must stand against it… and for Westeros to survive, a Targaryen must be the leader of the Realm. And Uzumaki Naruto is tied to this destiny, I am sure of it."

Aenar listened to his daughter speak. "It is no coincidence that the Doom occurred at the same time that Naruto emerged from the Fourteen Flames. The Blood Mages were doing horrible things down there, things that make my skin crawl. They were experimenting on humanity and using dark magic. Our sins and our hubris came for us in the form of the Doom."

"If Valyria is to one day be rebuilt, if Westeros is to survive, then we need this man. It will take a Dragon and whatever Naruto is for us to live. I am doing what is necessary to ensure that House Targaryen lives on. Please put your faith in me, father."

Of course, Daenys did not want to reveal what she felt for Naruto in front of her father. That was too private a matter, and one she only wanted to discuss with her future mate. Of course, the news of their marriage would soon ring throughout Dragonstone. She could withhold a few things from her father for a little while longer.

Naruto waited patiently in the garden, admiring the nature and the birds who had gathered near him, as the dragons hovered over him and watched him keenly. While he enjoyed the attention, he was getting bored. He was wondering when the Dreamer was going to make her appearance and spill her guts to him. He was annoyed by her reading his mind and trying to glean information. He was going to have words for her.

Day had turned into night as Naruto was sent meals and refreshments. Relieving himself was not a fun thing to do in this backwards ass realm, but Naruto rolled with it. He was fed up and decided to leave when he could hear soft footsteps.

Naruto turned around to see a woman carrying a candle as she walked near him. She held up the candle close to his face as Naruto took in Daenys' features. Daenys was short, but he could see the fire and steel in her eyes. Her hair was silver and her eyes purple; Naruto wanted to run his hands through her hair. She was wearing a white dress and Daenys looked like the epitome of a dream.

Daenys meanwhile observed her future beloved. He was tall, muscled and shaped like a maiden's dream. She placed a hand on his face as she looked into his blue eyes; they were eyes that you could get lost in. She placed a hand on his stomach and felt how hard it was; she would enjoy running her hands all over his body soon enough.

"Well, another thing is confirmed for me. You indeed are a handsome man. Thank you for indulging my curiosity."

"Well, you look pretty good as well… pardon me, that's not a good thing to say."

Daenys giggled as she walked away and sat down, placing the candle in a resting place as the garden was illumination by a soft light.

"I don't mind. I find it sweet."

Naruto observed her as Daenys looked at the sky and focused on the stars as Naruto wondered what this conversation would be about. Daenys smiled at him softly and asked him to take a seat.

"Its okay to sit next to me. It would make me happy beloved."

Naruto shook his head. "We don't mean anything to each other."

Daenys looked him up from head to toe, and smiled again. "Well… soon enough, we will mean a great deal to one another, beloved."

Naruto shook his head. "Why do you keep calling me that?"

Daenys smiled again at him. Naruto could not see anything deceptive in her smile, it was like his smile; full of warmth, promise, and happiness.

"Naruto… I am cursed with the gift of dreams. I see things that are not clear to me, and some things I see clearly. I also have magic running thorough my veins, thanks to you. I used the glass candle to try to learn more about you. I do apologize for that, yet I was able to learn exactly what I needed to."

"It is simple as to why I call you my beloved. I have seen bits and pieces of your life. I have seen your highs… and I have seen your lows. I have seen your tears and your loneliness. I have seen your triumphs. I have seen your failures. I have seen you cry and be sad. I have seen you smile and laugh and be positive. I have seen you never look back or lament the past. I have seen you resolve to always move forward and fight for your dreams and your beliefs. You wanted to be a leader so that people would acknowledge you despite your burden, and you wished to protect people."

"You have suffered greatly in life. You were deprived of genuine love and friendship for a long time. The people who should have been there for you in the beginning were not. And yet… despite everything, you have never sought revenge or pursued a path of hate and loathing. You instead sought to change the minds of your detractors through your deeds and actions, and in the end they came to accept you as an equal and someone to protect."

"Despite everything you have been through, you considered the people of your home your family. You smile what happened to you and you strive to keep moving forward. For me, its easy to love a person like that. And that's why I call you beloved. You are worthy of love and I am proud to call you beloved."

Naruto was quiet all throughout her speech. Truthfully, there were few people who truly loved and cared for him, and not many people really paid him attention back then. He had to admit, it felt so good to be cared for by another. It felt so good to receive this much attention again. He had to admit, it was a boost to his ego.

"That was very beautiful, what you just said. Someone like you is also worthy of love. Your intentions are pure. Still, this does not satisfy me. Why have you been looking for me, and what is it you want?"

"First… there is something you should know. My dreams… do come true. You will never love another woman like me."

Naruto chuckled. "We will see… won't we?"

Daenys eyes narrowed for a moment, and Naruto swore he saw something sad in them. "Yes… we will have to see."

Naruto sighed. "I did not mean to offend you. Tell me, Daenys the Dreamer, why am I here?"

Daenys stared at the sky and then she spoke to him. "Naruto, you may not believe in fate or prophecy, but I do. I do not let it shape my life, but I will never ignore it. You and I have a role to play in saving the world. There is a great evil that lies in this world. I am not sure if you and will be the ones to fight it, or if we will live long enough to see it in our lifetime. Yet, this evil exists and certain steps must be taken to ensure that Westeros comes out on top of this."

"Dreams and prophecy are fickle things, this much I know Naruto. Yet, prophecy cannot be ignored and neither can I ignore my dreams for they manage to come true. I have seen the end of my House, Naruto. I have seen it die due to political games, foolish endeavors, and the wanton, foolish desires of men who truly believe that they know everything there is. I have seen my House end due to the actions of many. And when it ends, evil destroys everything."

"Yet, there is a glimmer of hope, and it lies with you. You are the answer to all that is evil. You are the answer to my hopes and dreams. Perhaps, you are the reason that my House will live on, and Westeros will one day see a Great Spring. I believe that through you, House Targaryen may have a chance to one day triumph over this great evil."

"The dragon can only survive with its true companion, and that is you, Naruto. I don't believe that your existence in Valyria can be mere coincidence. You crawled out of the Fourteen Flames and prevented Valyria from disappearing from the map. You have united the dragons underneath your power. I know you don't believe in fate, but I truly believe that fate has brought us together for a reason."

Naruto was getting a headache from all of this. He didn't like this talk of fate and evil. He had been fighting all his life, and even he could sense something sinister in the world out there. He did have to wonder why he was chosen to fight supernatural battles.

Naruto sighed again as he spoke to Daenys. "This is… riveting. It truly is. Now, tell me. What do you want?"

Daenys got up and Naruto could see the inferno in her eyes and the steel as well. There was no smile, and yet, Naruto could see warmth and a sense of longing and… love; love that was meant for him. It felt powerful as Naruto narrowed his eyes. Maybe these Targaryens did indeed have magic flowing through their veins.

Daenys held out a hand, and the words that came out of her mouth shocked Naruto. He did not expect these words at all.

"I want you to marry me, Uzumaki Naruto. I want you to be my husband and my mate. There is none else worthy than you."

Naruto raised his eyebrows. He could only say one thing in this moment.

"Uh… what?"

Codex Targaryen

Taken from the Book Signs and Portents of the Doom by Daenys the Dreamer

Subject: Uzumaki Naruto

Titles: The Answer to all that is Evil, The Naked One, The Ultimate Dragon Fucker, The Will of Fire

Description:

I cannot believe it. I cannot believe I just did that. I asked Uzumaki Naruto to marry me; such a forward thing I have done.

My dream has come true. When I saw him again in the garden… I had many impure thoughts running through my mind. Now, that I see him up close, I can understand. He is handsome, powerful, tall; shaped like a maiden's fantasy. He truly is built and made for war and peace and many things.

The plants and the birds wished to be near him. His very presence has awakened nature. I do wonder why the Cannibal has not come to meet him. Indeed, he is a fickle fellow who lives life his way and his way alone. I think they would get along swimmingly.

I know my father is worried for me. I too am worried about the future. I just hope he can trust me. Everything I am doing is not just for the sake of the world… but for my own happiness and peace. I would never dare to use him. He means more to me than that.

I wonder what he will say about my proposal. I do love him… for him. I know my proposal was a bit much. I wonder what will happen. Is his heart capable of loving more than woman? I would never seek to replace the woman in his heart. I just wish to craft my own place in it.

My dreams are fickle… and some things I cannot understand. I see more Targaryens that Naruto makes an impact on. It does not matter to me. My dreams do tell me this… that Naruto will never love another more than me. Is that true though?

Regardless, it is high time that Uzumaki Naruto realizes that he is not alone in this world… and that there is someone out there who genuinely desires him and cares for him. If he rejects me, that is fine. I did my best. I am not some lunatic who cannot get over rejection. Yet, if he accepts my proposal, I promise from my heart… that I will give him all the love he deserves and he will not regret accepting me.
