A beam of light flew through the sky just above the treeline as it slowly descended to the ground. "Shit shit shit shit shit shit SHIIIIIITTTTTT!" Leon screamed as he made his way to the ground. Why was he bothered? He was only racing towards the ground at a very very fast speed. He hit the ground face first and slid through the dirt for a few dozen meters before coming to a complete stop.
Leon rolled over and groaned in pain, spitting dirt out of his mouth.
The readers got a good look at him. He had dirty blond hair, was 6"5" and wore jeans, a red t-shirt, and a black jacket with white stripes running down the arm sleeves.
"Everything hurts. Was it not possible to set me on the ground nicely instead of making me eat dirt? At least you guys had to suffer with me right?"
Silence answered him.
"Guys?" He sat up and scanned his surroundings. There wasn't a person in sight he was all alone in what seemed to be some sort of Pine evergreen forest. Not a person in sight. He was alone in an unknown location with no idea where he was, just great.
Wait a minute, if he recalled correctly before we were sent off. The Ellenad dude who killed us and brought us here said something about not sending us to the human realm? What the hell did he mean by that, and where the hell was everyone else?
'Must of gotten split up somehow.' He thought before he considered his next move and what he knew about his current situation.
'So I know that I've been sent into the world of Yugioh. I know that my friends and I have somehow gotten split up and that I'm apparently not in the human world. The heck does that mean not the human world? If it's not the human world then wh-, oh. This isn't looking good anymore. I pray to God that I'm not in the duel monsters world because I really rather just stick to card games.' He cursed his own situation. Why the hell did they have to get chosen to get isekaied?
"Anyway lets take stock of what I have right now." He said out loud to himself. Leon had always had a bit of a habit to talk to himself when he was alone so that wasn't that big of a surprise he did so now.
"I have clothes, myself, and my smart but at the same time stupid brain. I think I have everything. I am definitely fully equipped to be alone and lost in the middle of the wilderness." A troubled look came across Leon's face as worries of food, water, and most importantly worries of having no internet in this world plagued his mind. He put his hands in his pockets to check if he had anything in there and felt something. A deck of cards came out of his pocket and he held them in his hand as recognition filled his face.
"This is the Vampire deck I received Leon exclaimed in excitement as he started to look through the cards seeing what he had. However his face soon filled with confusion and anger as he looked through the deck.
"No no no, why is it only pure Vampire cards?" He muttered as he continued to look at the cards. Leon had indeed gotten three of each Vampire card in Yugioh. What he thought he was going to get was his mix of generic zombie support that supported his Vampire. He especially wanted Alghoul Mazera in his deck, that handtrap was overpowered. Pure Vamps was a lot slower and was a lot less consistent then when it was mixed with the zombie support. Don't forget the fact that adding Doomking Balerdroch in the mix as well was practically a free negate and banish.
Now however he only had pure Vamps which would be harder to work with until he could get his hand onto zombie support once more. He was so thankful for Vampire Ghost, without it things would go from difficult to being extreme.
Leon continued looking through the vamp cards. He really had ever since Vampire card here. He had the news ones like the Undead Vampire and Vampire Fascinator and he also had the ones that were never used, cards like Vampire Dragon and Vampire's curse. He even had Vampire hunter though he wasn't sure that was an actual Vampire card.
Leon looked up at the sky, it was about midday and he was stuck in the middle of nowhere in the woods.
'I probably don't wanna be out here after dark' He frowned thinking about what to do next. Leon decided to start walking west. Why west? He just chose it at random until he had something to go off of to know where to go.
He hadn't even walked for 10 minutes when a thought came to his mind.
'Wait if this is the duel monster world then what the hell am I going to do with a deck of cards? If this is Earth that will be another story but if this is the duel monsters world then I don't even know what I am going to do. I'm going to have to assume that the Ellenad dude was telling the truth and this is the duel monsters world. If so then why would he only give us a deck of cards? There's probably something I don't know.' Leon summarized.
His eyes glanced down to look at the jacket pocket he had put his cards back into. Leon stopped walking for a minute as he stared at the pocket. He mulled over it for a bit before taking the cards out. He picked one out and lifted his arm up to the sky with the card in hand.
"Summon Vampire Familiar!" He shouted as loud as he could.
A few leaves blew by as nothing happened.
"Should of know that wouldn't wo-" He grumbled before something happened.
A red, dark, liquid, blood started gathering from seemingly nowhere to form a small blob. When enough blood had gathered it shifted to form a small bat. After it finished shaping itself it started to change colors until it looked exactly like the Vampire Familiar on the card.
He stared at it for a moment.
"Holy shit I can't believe that actually worked."
