Photo Shoot

Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha, (Sniff*) but if I did then my fanfictions would be episodes, now wouldn't they? (Didn't think of that, did ya?) Hah! Jus kiddin! Read Now!

(P.S.) If anyone wants to illustrate the photos for my story then they can, I'd love to see them!

"So why're we donin' this again?" Inuyasha asked in a tired voice.

"I already told you. Sami wanted a photo or two of you guys so she could have something to remember you by," Kagome replied.  Not even a stuffy dog-demon could keep her down today. Armed with the camera her mother had gotten her for Christmas and a couple of rolls of film, she was ready for anything.

"So what's a photo, Kagome?" Shippo asked, looking excitedly. Sango, Miroku and Kirara also looked at the object around their friend's neck.

"A photo is like a small painting that's really detailed and is done in minutes. Watch." She pointed the camera at Kirara and pressed a button. The flash of light had everyone jumping for their weapons, and then looking to her, ready for battle. Kagome calmly pulled the photo from the camera and waved it to make the chemicals mix. Her friends looked at her with confused expressions. Finally noticing them, Kagome stopped mid-wave to apologize.  "Oops, sorry you guys! I forgot to tell you about the flash," Kagome showed them her camera.

"The flash you saw came out of here. It makes that light so that the picture comes out nice and bright. Look," she said, holding up the photo, "It's Kirara."

Shippo jumped up and snatched the picture from her. "Wow Kagome. That's the best painting I've ever seen!" He cried and passed the photo to Sango.

"Amazing," she said, "Look Kirara," Sango held the picture near Kirara's nose.

"Mew." Was her happy reply. Miroku stared at it, Inuyasha looking over his shoulder.

"So you're going to do this for all of us?" He asked, examining the picture.

            "Yup," Kagome replied happily.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get our photos taken."

"Me first Kagome, me first!" Shippo cried happily. He sat down in a big patch of clover and smiled sweetly.

"Hug your tail. There. It's gonna flash, so don't freak. And try not to blink. Now tilt your head and smile," Kagome instructed, and snapped the photo. The group jumped once again. "Look," she handed the picture to Shippo, who carefully studied it.

"I closed my eyes," he said, sighing sadly since Kagome had told him not to.

"That's okay. See? It looks like you're laughing," Kagome pointed out to the Kitsune. Shippo smiled. "Okay, one more Shippo." She grabbed her pack and fished through it, tossing a big, round, lollypop to him. "Now go stand by the tree and enjoy your lollypop," she said and pointed toward a tree.

"But I thought you wanted another picture Kagome," Shippo replied, confused.

"I am going to take another picture Shippo, but I don't want it to look like you're waiting for me to take the picture. Does that make sense?" She asked the Kitsune.

"Kind of, I'll be over there," He pointed towards the tree and scurried in that direction. Kagome followed and snapped a picture while Shippo was busy with his candy. The flashing lights had finally gotten to Shippo, making his eyes swirl. "I see pretty stars Kagome. Do your think you could take pictures of someone else for a while?" He leaned against the tree and slid into a sitting position, all while licking his lollypop. Kagome smiled at him.

            "Tee hee, sure Shippo."
