Lotr
This is going to be a monologue by Arwen about her feelings for Aragorn during his adventure. I thought that it would only be fair for her since she doesn't get mentioned a lot in the movie (I swear, her only purpose is to make out with Aragorn). Well, I hope you enjoy this and review
P.S: isn't it amazing how many good synonyms there is for suffering? I mean, there's misery, grief, anguish, *sorry, writer having a severe case of Randomness* rumplestilskin, chickens (courtesy to Mr. Ashby aka M1) ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Chapter one: Rivendell
Love, both a curse and a gift, why do we have it? All of us have suffered broken hearts, but how is this similar to what I have to suffer? An endless choice between the two people I care about most. My father and Aragorn, which ever choice I make, I shall live to regret. Now Aragorn has left for this journey to Mordor, a quest to save all of the free races of Middle- earth, risking his own life, taking away time in which he and I may have been together.
If I could just give up my immortality, give away my everlasting life of pain and misery, I would gladly go and live one lifetime with Aragorn. He is the only man that I have ever given my whole heart to. Our adoration for each other is just too good to be without grief and loss on both parts. To be with him is to abandon my father, my people, and my race. To live a life in seclusion, away from those who are my kin. that is the price that I have to pay. Never ending torture is what it really it. My immortality can not really be given away, once Aragorn walks to the Halls of Mandos, I will carry on living. I will linger in this world, remaining unchanged while the Earth and all around me shift.
The doom revolves around me, I can feel it churning in the wind, waver in the water. It is coming I can no longer avoid it by waiting. My people are leaving these shores. Already, my father has asked me the fated question, the one that will determine my destiny.
Alae! I melui amar! Embar nin! Im innas รบ revia!{Ahh! The sweet Earth! My home! I will not leave you!}
You hold the only things that I have ever known, ever loved, except for my kin, of course. Yet we have gotten the idea of leaving you.leaving you to wither in the hands of men, to have your gardens destroyed by the hands of men.
Why do we, as elves let our cultivation be destroyed by the second-born? Our mallon trees are quickly disappearing, already I see that the power of the three rings of the elves are waning. It will not be long before the fruits of our labor disappear from the landscape. Before death comes to the deathless trees.
Estel, when will you be back? My heart is left to you and only you to claim, my prayers are to you.may it be that your quest ends to light the days of Middle-Earth.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Did you enjoy it? Hope so.remember.this was a one-shot, so if you want more written on the subject, you can review.
