Ok everyone this is my first Trigun fic ever! So please review! Um I have two other stories. They're both Inuyasha. You can check them out in my bio go to - Fluffys gurl - well this is pretty short, but I think it's good. So enjoy.
One night lasts a life time- Chapter 1- One special night.
Meryl sat on the bed with eyes full of tears. Wolfwood stood in the back of the room leaning on the wall. "You know he had to leave sometime."
Wolfwood said as he walked up to Meryl and sat next to her. "Yes I know." She said as a single tear ran down her cheek. "But I thought he would stick around for a little bit longer."
Meryl looked up at Wolfwood, and more tears fell from her eyes. "Yes but if he didn't leave Knives would have went on a killing spree. Vash is the only one who can stop Knives." Wolfwood said quietly. "Yes I know but Vash is going to get himself killed!" Meryl said bursting into tears.
Wolfwood felt sympathetic so he wrapped his arms around Meryl. "You really did love him didn't you?" Wolfwood said. Meryl looked into Wolfwoods eyes. "I did." Meryl took a deep breath. Wolfwood felt his heart drop.
" I did for a while but the love soon changed into a sibling love. I began to love him more and more as a brother." Meryls tears stopped. For a minute it was silent. Wolfwood broke the ice. "Who do you love then?" He asked nervously.
Meryl blushed a slight shade of pink. She looked away from Wolfwood and said- "I don't think the guy feels the same way about me." Meryl then looked up at Wolfwood. Wolfwood then let go of her and placed one hand on her cheek.
"I think he does feel the same way." Wolfwood looked into Meryals eyes and smiled. Meryl smiled back. "Wolfwood I love you so much!" She hugged Wolfwood. Wolfwood huged her back and whispered in her ear- "I love you too." Months later Meryl and Wolfwood got marred and moved somewhere far away to start a new life. They had four children. The children grew up and moved out. Meryl and Wolfwood got older. In time they got weaker. But their love was still growing stronger and stronger with every passing day. Meryl got really sick one night and passed away the following week. Wolfwood was very sad but Meryls love keep him alive. They built an entire life together and had many wonderful memories. Wolfwood lived for many years after Meryls death. But he was dying as well. The night he passed away he remembered only one night. The night when they confessed there love for each other. The last words he said was- One night will last a lifetime.
