"All children grow up- except one. Imagine a world, where ever day is an adventure. A world, where you will never have to grow up, or grow old, come away with me and I will take you to such a world, where all these things will come true. In my world resides creatures, mermaids, pirates, and lost boys."

Then, Wendy woke with a start.

"Wow! Michael, John! Wake Up!" Twelve year old Wendy yelled at her younger brothers.

"Wh-What?" John, the second oldest, stammered. "What's wrong?" he asked.

"I just had the most wonderful dream! It was about a boy, he was in a world where you never have to grow up! And, there were mermaids and lost boys and." Wendy stopped, just to keep her brothers in suspense.

"What, what else was there?" Wendy's other younger brother, Michael, asked.

"Pirates!" Wendy said, ending the suspense.

"Wow! Pirates!" Both of the young boys said in unison.

Just then they heard footsteps coming up the stairs of the three story, Victorian style house.

"Wendy, John, Michael? Are you three couch potatoes awake yet?" The obvious voice belong to their mother. A very beautiful woman with long brown hair about to the middle of her back, with blue eyes. However, something set her apart from all the other mothers in England. For Mrs. Darling possessed something that only so many women can possess. She possessed a kiss. Not any kiss that any one would think of, but a special kiss. Hidden in the right hand corner of her mouth.

"Yes, mother. We are awake!" Wendy answered for herself and her two brothers.

"Good, get ready for school." Mrs. Darling answered.

As Wendy began to gather her school uniform, which was regularly worn on school days, she heard a much louder bounding coming up the stairs. It was none other than her and her brother's nurse, Nana. Nana was not your regular nurse, for Nana was a large St. Bernard dog. Although Wendy thought that Nana was going to come up and greet the children, she went straight for the window, and started to bark.

"Nana, what is it?" Wendy asked," Nothing is there, girl"

What Wendy didn't know was that there was somebody there. For at the window stood a boy, no older than thirteen, looking in the window and waiting until he get in to retrieve his missing shadow. The boy from Wendy's dream- Peter Pan.
