"Adam," Megabyte murmured, the fingertip of his left hand tracing the arch of his lover's eyebrow. [Created in the image of God, from whom all things are created, and by whose image all other men are fashioned. Divine perfection given mortal form.]
Adam swallowed, gazing up at Megabyte with wonder. Megabyte was always so brash, so sarcastic, that it was strange to hear his mind speak so poetically. That the subject of Megabyte's thoughts was himself... [Duke, Your Grace, my Lord, my sovereign, my master...]
Megabyte laid a finger against Adam's lips, and though he had not spoken with words, Adam fell silent. [Not your master,] Megabyte said seriously, his mind open to Adam completely. [You are not beneath me. You are my equal, my partner, my compliment... and my beloved. I love you, Adam Newman, with all my heart and soul.]
The words were true. The rush of feelings - love, friendship, passion, joy, pain - was over-powering. It swept Adam up in a tide of pure feeling and wonder than anyone, especially someone as wonderful and amazing as Megabyte, could love him that much.
[As I love you, Megabyte Damon,] he thought back, meeting those feelings with his own. [Heart and soul.]
[Beyond forever, beloved,] Megabyte whispered as his finger dropped from Adam's lips to be replaced with his own in a tender kiss.
